Halfpasthuman, Alex Jones, and everyone else should realize by now:

YOU CANT PREDICT THINGS BY A SPECIFIC DATE. IT's ALWAYS FAIL.

While some patriot/conspiracy shows in summer 2001 were predicting a big nwo terror attack pinned on bin Laden, they knew not to make a date only to say "weeks away"

Y2K, Dec 20 2012, etc...its all nonsense dates.

I myself have only made one specific date prediction, which was to my friend in a chat session on July 10th 2006. I jokingly said "watch, I bet tomorrow which is 7/11 we will hear of some massive al Qaeda linked attack"And sure enough, we had the 7/11 attacks in Mumbai India that killed over 200 people. It was then that I realized the NWO has a dark sense of humor(7/11, India, get it? oy)

But like a thief in the night, major events happen when you least expect it, and making specific predictions on dates usually always fails.

Right now to me it feels like it is Afghanistan Oct 27, 2009

let me count the ways

This month has seen the heaviest US death toll in the eight years of war in Afghanistan.

.........35-year old civil war

.........further destabilize the country as well as its neighbor Pakistan

.........mortgaging its economy on a war which would drag on for years

.........a lot of arm-twisting to try and get Hoh to stay

WARNED that it was about to embark on a tragic course.

Brother of Afghan Leader Is Said to Be on C.I.A. Payroll

Deadly days for US troops in Afghanistan

C.I.A lied to Congress

Afghanistan could become Somalia

DEA Agents killed in Afghanistan

Afghanistan: UN staff killed in attack on Kabul

America's Phoney War in Afghanistan

...........The US elites have lost what in Chinese imperial history is known as the Mandate of Heaven.

...........The purpose of the alleged US war against both Taliban and Al Qaeda is in reality to place its military strike force directly in the middle of the geographical space of this emerging SCO in Central Asia. Iran is a diversion. The main goal or target is Russia and China.

Hamid Karzai 'already fixing' second election
..........That means that Al-Qaeda, for all practical purposes, does not exist in Afghanistan. Oops…
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

General Petraeus, months ago, already admitted that there was no Al Queda in Afghanistan.

The media quietly made the transition from "we're fighting Al Queda" to "we're fighting The Taliban" there.

As long as we're fighting someone there, that's what counts, right?!

Black Monday Fears

You know what's really interesting? Since the Dow Jones industrial average closed down on Friday 249.85 points, or or nearly 2.5%, the number of people who have been questioning the web bot project seems to have fallen dramatically. Gee, wonder why?

Not only that, but a couple of astute readers noticed that the predictive linguistic project turn date of October 25/October 26, exactly corresponded to the turnaround in the volatility index -- the VIX.

Fortunately, I don't dispense trading advice, because if I did it would surely embarrass many of them Wall Street mavens who pulled bigger paychecks than me with duller darts. I refer you, of course, to the column 2-weeks ago in which I outlined a scenario where the linguistic turn date would morph into a major market downturn and correspond with a major uptick in the US dollar.

Well guess what?

To my way of thinking, there is a nonzero chance that either next Monday Tuesday Wednesday or... we could get into a major crash situation. The reason for this is we're at the point of recognition where someone besides an old goat rancher- like you know who - will figure out that the market advance from the March lows this year cannot continue ad infinitum. When that blinding flash of reality streaks across the skies, a lot of folks will figure out the market is overbought and a retest of the March lows will suddenly appear in the cards.

In all this week the Dow Jones industrials lost almost 260 points. The backup numbers are here.
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.

Yeah, I thoroughly figured October was gonna be a doozy and said as such right here.

Yet they seem to have held on until the very last trading day.

I'm curious what Monday will bring, although we now are in the start of the "holiday season" when traditionally things get kind of ridicuously rosy until the "Santa Clause affect" wanes right after New Years.

So January could be a doozy. :) Or Monday. Hell if I know. Nothing makes a lick of sense any more.

But I believe we've seen what might be the longest and biggest sucker rally in history.

Starting on Monday ....

BTW I just had to sell most of my precious metals to avoid living in my car.

So you can expect the price of them to now rocket heavenward, just because, well, God hates me this year.

Hell, NOrdic...at least you got to sell high...I realized when gold was $250 an oz. that I should buy...if only I had money then!

If god hated you, you would have had no gold to sell...

Did you know that the Tarot card for corporations is the Devil card? There's a reason for that. Personally, I think God hates Plutocracies...but are we talking the Manichean God, or...

seriously, good luck on ya, NOrdic, hope things are mo' beddah soon

I'm not going to read this whole thread because I already have a mushroom induced consciousness hemorrhage, and it's not as appealing and economically viable as Terrence's. I just wanted to point out that "reality shift" is happening constantly, all the time, forever. If you're every waiting for it to happen in the future, you are out of touch with reality now, and that's the only time when it's even possible to understand anything.

That being said, pattern recognition is a very practical skill that can allow a person to predict future trends with reasonable accuracy. Since no one person can do this constantly, it helps to have a bunch of people collaborating in order to maintain a continuous process. This sort of happens on this board already.

For example:
Fred Astaire wrote:This outlandish bit of propaganda was the response to the Afghanistan-heroin-CIA story that appeared days before this. It was easy enough to predict that something like this would ensue.

Discuss.

Thanks for this.

I was wondering how I was going to celebrate the passage of another Halloween.

This meets the bill nicely.

Thanks again.

Interesting to hear- total doomer pron but with no real backing except "the Bilderbergers" did it...When I hear all this, "Well the sheeples are going to wake up...revolution in the streets because the middle class will disappear over night..." I sense a profound misunderstanding of majorly important processes such as how hegemony in a social structure functions and, more importantly, the fact that this financial crisis and the ongoing evolution of capitalism will just translate into a further chipping away at the middle class. It is a slow and deliberate process, and has been happening since the 70s. American society especially is so atomized and the "I got/gonna get mine" (the lottery mentality) is so well ingrained that, those "massive" tea party meetings aside, that the chances, barring total resource breakdown, of some middle class revolution is ludicrous.

And, if there is total resource breakdown, I don't think there will be any great revolutionary democratic recapture of the government and, much less, any Stalinist purges of corporations, but rather some very grim times for the vast majority of persons in this world who have not been stuffing their faces (and heads) with crap for the last 50 years.

This is true. They have us set up so that any "revolutionary" action, meaning sweeping and dramatic change, is going to result in more fascism. And with all the provocateurs and a black president, they are practically begging for it.
