It seems to me, though, that Sepka doesn't deliberately try to stirr the pot but voice her opinion, on a variety of subjects (I'm convinced she's a girl version of Colbert on the forum ....) And although Percy does have strong opinions about the Israeli state, I've never found him a pot stirrer. It does seem that some folk do post specifically to, well, stirr the pot.

On the other hand, having a thread devolve into name calling is, um, stirring the pot. ha. I must tend to the pot on my stove, as super is starting to burn...

Look Chig, calling my disappointment for having the Gaza Flotilla thread locked "emotional frothing at the mouth" is a tad extreme, though I'll admit to being somewhat ticked off about it. Why? Because it's so typical for serious discussions to be derailed by spammers with an agenda. That shouldn't be allowed to happen with proper moderation, and I want that thread reopened.


And calling it "latent antisemitism rising to the surface" is inflammatory, to say the least. You can just stay disappointed in me because I seriously resent that remark.
