Sheesh, I logged in this morning and was then gone all day.

Um....some of you guys your can't see it, your attitudes, I mean.

I wouldn't know where to begin except that arguing specific points is not even relevant.

Nordic, how about this? Some of the female members of your family here find the word 'slut' offensive if used in certain ways. Can that alone be good enough leaving the whole PC thing aside (I loathe PC myself)? I'm talking about tender places in the heart and sensibilities, not PC, ok?

Last word. This is about a battle over millions of dollars, and the combatants are experienced sharks who know exactly where they swim and what they're getting into. The story is unfolding on the august pages of radar.online and US weekly, the same journals reporting that Gibson's people are accusing Oksana of extortion.

So carrying on like Oksana is Hattie Carroll is just a little out of proportion, and thank you for the barrage of insulting videos that put the whip in my hand.

That fucking hurt. It was about the money, and the sideshow.

Hey Nordic, you aren't the first schmuck to get swindled out of a 7-figure inheritance. Happened to me too. Suck it up.

I notice nobody has commented on a main reason Mel Gibson is such an asshole: he pretends to be Super Catholic. He built his own damned church building, where his followers adhere to a pre-Vatican-II all-Latin rite. And soak themselves in self-congratulation.

And yet . . . he left his wife of 28 years and his children for a hot Russian babe.

That's an incredible sin. When you combine it with hypocrisy, and then with the latest revelations of unchecked alcoholic anger, racism, bigotry, and the like.

Well. Mel is going to be doing MILLIONS of years in Purgatory.

I'm serious. The time periods don't make sense going from this life to the next, but I can practically guarantee he is going to get HAMMERED when he dies. As a liberal Catholic, I suspect he'll escape HELL. But I think he is going to be eating matzoh and drinking warm water for a LONG time.

Norton, I really must object to your use of the word "retardo." [tee hee]

:starz: maybe I should have picked a different thread to bump

ah well. anyway, this movie is clearly a full frontal assault on the growing trend of subversive hand-puppetry. :playingknight:

norton ash --

I've been wanting to apologize to you for (especially) the post with the videos in it, but also for the bad attitude (where it was bad) and the not-as-good-as-it-could-have-been attitude (which is what it was at best when not affirmatively bad). Some of those proto-what-constitutes-I-HATE-YOU threads left me more fucked-up and in pain than I really knew until a little while later. At the time, I just thought of them as trolling-as-usual-no-big-thing.

But please let me hasten to add that I say that by way of explanation only, and not as an excuse. Because it really isn't one. Adults are kind of supposed to know what their feelings are well enough to prevent themselves from lashing out at innocent by-standers, at the very least, I do believe. I think it might be called "personal responsibility" or something like that, I'm not really too clear on the details.

In any event, I have no excuse to offer. Just my remorseful apologies for having so unfairly subjected you to harsher words and treatment than you'd done anything to merit. They were wrong, and I'm sorry for them.

Yours in grateful humility,

c2w
