Not to imply that no one should care, but -

If anything written in this thread would have a direct and immediate impact on world events, then get as bent out of shape as you possibly can. Other wise, let it go. The energy wasted on going after one person here would be better spent taking direct action in the world out there. If we're not willing to take action out there, then what value is there in trying to pressure someone here to conform to our specifications?

I hear you. I happen to think that what "we" do here is basically vent and share. I can name numerous people here who are active IRL in their varying ways. In fact, who am I to say who is "active" and who is not? Not saying you're doing that, just I believe that the remaining members here are activists actually.

with neocon wonks winking "something big is coming" and as we are led into new wars to take on Horus...I mean Osirus...I mean ISIS...

Why would these events make disclosure of Saudi involvement in 911 less significant?
but here it is...over a decade too late

That's like saying the JFK assassination was no longer worth investigating in 1973. Too late. Turn the page. Ancient history.

In a dark humor sort of way, it is like a god damn comic book. Just with horrific consequences. "Forget al Qaeda, ISIS is the biggest threat ever!" "Obama got Osama", "A second Malaysia 777 has been lost".

But I spoke too soon, Saudi Arabia positions themselves as the anti Sunni jihadist nation!
http://news.msn.com/world/saudi-king-wa ... -europe-us
The king of Saudi Arabia has warned that extremists could attack Europe and the U.S. if there is not a strong international response to terrorism after the Islamic State group seized a wide territory across Iraq and Syria.

I'm just saying the framework of the whole 9/11 truth thing feels like ancient history in a post Islamic State era. AKA the #ISIS #bucket #challenge

Wow. There's apparently no helping you anymore. I'm not going to lecture you on how many ways this is wrong. Carry on.

BPH, there are two souls of good intent here. One is friendly and open and the other is guarded and seemingly bitter. Nobody can apologize for their personalities, looks etc. Just don't start campaigns of ill will when you know that you are among (probably) kindred spirits. We can all get a little hot under the collar. Insults are out as far as I understand this place. Both of you, "no harm, no foul". If we were all in a room or picnic together, all would get along and share our food and beer with one another. This is what keeps me around here. It probably has a lot to do with the strong Seattle/PNW contingent in which I have met many IRL. We're all interesting people and it is best to keep that in mind.

I'd be interested to hear a lecture on what bph thinks is wrong with 8-bit's statement.

You may well be right, and odds are, you are. That being the case, wouldn't we still be better off investing that energy into something positive and useful?

My experience has been positive energy begets positive energy, negative energy begets negative.

I'm not perfect by any means. Just tired of keeping the wheel in motion. Being honest with myself, I
can see my efforts here were probably a futile effort to control what is out of my hands. Not any different

Yep. And deeply neurotic. and while we're at it, passive aggressive and OCD. You're a veritable catalog of neuroses. You can put that one in your files seemslikeJEdgarHoover.

For the record: I definitely directed that at you. I don't have to be a psychoanalyst to see that. Canadian Watcher was another example of a deeply neurotic type. Paranoid, persecution complex, probably ptsd, character disorder riddled, nut job. Pin that on your chest.

Nah. Everything is futile when it comes down to it. The days wear on and entropy ensues. This is why I believe there is a greater soul. Jeff got into DNA shit awhile back. And I wondered while I watched this dying bee this morning where it's soul was as it struggled to keep on living. It has to have one. And I believe, I think, "the soul" is shared in the Universal Free Realms. Maybe because I am "modern" I just picture how that little thing's "mind" works. I cannot tell, but I felt bad watching it die and watching it suffer.

I also thought about the trees around me and began to think that they actually "move" more than us when it comes down to it. They continually grow. Given the ratio of their lifespans they could actually move more than we do if given the opportunity of getting chopped down by a human or human caused fire or something.

Again, I am going to relay the story of the trees. I went to an old growth forest and the trees literally communicated with me. Mind meld type shit. I've never been the same since. I look at everything differently because of, what the "trees told me". It wasn't a cognizant happening. I literally listened to the trees and I heard their voices. No, not halucinating or nothing. A little buzzed on beer and maybe a few hits of weed. But I was all alone, just me and the trees, plants really, and they fucking told me that they felt sorry for us and explained some issues. It was really strange, just being alone among the trees and river and shit at the foot of Mt. Rainier all alone. What they said is that we're fucked and wished us no harm -- they had spent billions of years figuring this shit out, is how I took it. They told me that they are an ancient network that has existed for billions of years. What I perceived of "them" saying "network". Nature, in our terms is one fucking vast and ancient network.

Whatever, Back to topic.

Glad you shared this, we have some weird synchs actually.

1) There are some insignificant little images in youth that stay with you for some reason. One of them is when I was at my first real "grown up" job, on a lunch break. I was walking on a bridge and I saw a bee. It was injured and walking in a circle. I could tell that it was struggling, and I had this awareness that it was going to die right there, on the street. No matter how much energy it gave, it would only walk faster in a circle. That image has stayed with me all this time.

2) When I was a kid I had major social anxiety. My family was also hugely religious and imposing. These things contributed to me spending a lot of time in the woods behind our house, as well as announcing to my family that I was an atheist. One day I was sitting in the woods up against a tree, and I distinctly heard a voice say out loud "God created this moment". I looked up in shock, and something clicked in me. This voice was some sort of catalyst for me. I don't know if I saw "the truth", I just saw more clearly who I really was, that there was something inside of me that was not just a response to the imposing beliefs of my family.

That's really interesting, Brandon. Because here are two of us who are basically skeptical, but also spiritual in the sense of the cosmos will always unveil something new to you. I was conflicted about putting the bee out of its misery because it kept flopping over and getting back up. I figured he was trying to survive, so I would let him figure it out on his own if he could. I wonder what it is like to be a bee, or a tree. There definitely is something that breathes life into us all. I guess my sig says it all once again. (Not because I chose it, but because without love. . .)

I like to think there is a psychic compassion detected by all living entities which reciprocates interspecies.
