Re that PNG Crash - I heard on the news (australian abc news) that the plane was the first in a 2 plane convoy flying to Kokoda, and that the pilot had only 6 months experience flying twin engine aircraft.
And the search was hampered by bad weather, so its possibly a case of a pilot who couldn't cope with the conditions.
