Annie Hall and Taxi are up there on my top film lists, something very cool about that whole period. I didn't get to visit New York til 1986, so pre Guiliani thankfully. I remember grafitti absolutely on every square inch of everything, Beastie Boys and Run DMC being played everywhere, etc. Sadly didnt run into Warhol or JM Basquiat:)
