Solace, there are no racists here. They are simply not allowed. I saw nothing in any of the comments in this thread to warrant any one of the contributors "racist" thus far.
"If the quenelle is loosely defined as an anti establishment salute, one may wonder why Jews are offended by it and regard it as an ‘anti-Semitic’ gesture? Is it because many Jews actually identify with ‘the establishment’? And how do we explain the fact that the French government is happy to compromise the most elementary liberties just to appease the French Jewish Lobby (Crif)?
The truth is devastating - Palestine is here and the French people are the Palestinians Du Jour.."

Well not according to YOUR standards obviously. As far as I'm concerned though if one supports a racist one is themselves a racist. You wanna cut 'em slack, be my guest. It might a different thing if this particular racist and his followers were actively perusing a free speech type of thing but they aren't with talk about too bad no gas chambers and taking stylized nazi salute pics out side places where Jews were killed, including that little girl in Toulouse recently. That's just sick fucking shit. There's no defense for these people unless one agrees with their actions or wants to minimize anti-semitism; both which are racist.

I have no "standards", chief. And I disagree. Just don't be racist as rule of thumb. No commenter in this thread remotely rises to the level of abject racism. Casting aspertions is entirely possible on this here Internet. However, from what I know of the members here, I have seen no racism.
“Dieudonné is the spokesman, the godfather, the icon of a new kind of anti-Semitism,” Alain Finkielkraut, the philosopher and memoirist of Jewish identity, told me. “It is an explicitly anti-racist anti-Semitism, which inverts traditional anti-Semitism by asserting that the Nazis today are in fact the Jews. The idiom of anti-Semitism is no longer racism; it is now anti-racism. Dieudonné’s followers say that they don’t hate Jews, they hate Jewish racism. They say that Israel is like Nazism, like apartheid. ”
