I hope you both remain well and manage to avoid contracting this illness.
My place is so small, I think I recently mentioned it being 200 sq ft, but that was wrong; it's about 400 sq ft and I have no room for storage of more than 4 rolls of tp. On the 18th, when I last ventured out to shop, the panic buying had begun in earnest just the day before and no resupply was possible. I, a spoiled westerner who cringed and became constipated after my first visit to a latrine when a boy scout, will resort to using a sponge if I can't buy any today, or before my last roll runs out. Fortunately, I have a bit of a half gallon of bleach, and running hot and cold water.
Sure hope I can get a couple of cans of soup, some pasta and frozen veggies. (ugh!)

Yes - just found out this evening, still quite gobsmacked by it. Younger than 40, in fact. I also know a half-dozen people spread across three US cities who may be joining him.
So as you can imagine, it's quite a relief to learn that it means nothing -- glad you're on the case.

Yes.
And edit that I'm a big admirer of many of your posts over many years, Mac. And a total advocate of asking all the necessary questions, including the most maligned ones. But in addition to the person I knew who died late last week, I have multiple friends of friends etc who know real people who are fighting for their lives or close to it.
Oh boy you uncivilzed people have never heard of bidet showers have you? One of the great inventions of my countrymen (Wikipedia has it wrong, it is also Finnish invention, and most widespread here)! And yet with almost every home here equipped with these, people did a run on toilet paper as well. Never mind it is one of the main products of the country and not going to run out any time.

The news from Palermo belongs of course in the thread Health Effects of the Fearporn Lockdown, which is still locked.
I request its unlocking.
