It's constantly updating, apparently it's a collective of alternative media audio/podcast providers. I keep up with the "Unwelcome Guests" show (anti-capitalism galore... I love most of it, but their 9/11 stuff is too tilted towards the controlled demolition side of things for my taste), and there's also a wealth of Michael Parenti stuff, for instance. The search function is pretty good.

Connect the dots. According to the UN's latest report, under U.S. occupation 92% of the world's opium production comes from Afghan poppies. Most of the heroin going to Europe is manufactured in or transits Turkey. The exact value to Turkey of its heroin exports is unknown but experts estimate a range in the tens of billions of dollars per year. The neocons helped establish and remain closely associated with Turkish lobbying efforts in the U.S. The question is, then: does the seamy side of Turkish influence peddling involve, among other things, money laundering, narcotics trafficking, espionage, bribery of U.S. officials, nuclear proliferation, and aid to terrorist front groups (not to mention whatever motivated the previous administration to invade Afghanistan)? Put differently, how and to what extent has the Turkish "deep state" joined forces with the American "deep state"? Government Mind Control

George Knapp was joined by former mind-control victim Cathy O'Brien along with Mark Phillips, the former government employee who deprogrammed her. Together, they discussed her amazing story of surviving the MK Ultra program. O'Brien said that during her time in the program "there was much torture and trauma that was deliberately and systematically used" to turn her into a pliable human automaton. She alleged that, from there, she was used for a number of nefarious deeds, including sexual and criminal acts. She also asserted that high ranking politicians had a hand in her lengthy period of abuse.

Having been tipped off from his sources inside the intelligence community, Phillips used some "codes and keys" to break O'Brien from her spell. He said that such triggers included starting a conversation with the statement "this is God" and directing her to read Psalm 37:37 in the Bible. Phillips claimed that at the time of her rescue, O'Brien had "no awareness of anything that happened to her" and didn't even know her own name nor real age. The pair, along with O'Brien's daughter Kelly, then escaped to Alaska. It was there, O'Brien said, that she felt safe for the first time which "allowed me to remember the things I'd been tortured to forget."

O'Brien indicated that what compelled the pair to come forward with their story was a quest to find help for Kelly, who was also a victim of the mind control program. They explained that Kelly had been subjected to a more modernized form of mind control called "harmonic technologies." Phillips described the technique as using sound frequencies to scar the brain and "re-route the person's ability to think." This fragments the victim's mind in ways similar to earlier, more trauma-based methods. The technique is so invasive, they said, that Kelly has yet to make a complete recovery from her abuse due to extensive damage to her brain stem.

Very few seem to know and among the few who know most don't seem to care that the US remains under a state of emergency declared by the Bush administration. The state of emergency was formally proclaimed five days after 9/11 on September 14th, 2001, and extended by Bush repeatedly thereafter, most recently on August 28th, 2008 for yet another year.

Under cover of this State of Emergency, the Bush administration enacted many extreme measures, ranging from suspension of habeas corpus, to the preparations for martial law in the US.

In early 2009 an attempt was made to alert the public and put pressure on Congress to lift the state of emergency.

In February 2009 Professor Peter Dale Scott and former Congressman Dan Hamburg wrote a formal letter to President Obama's staff and several congress people. They referred to the National Emergencies Act, one of the post-Watergate reforms that requires specifically that not later than six months after a national emergency is declared, and not later than the end of each six-month period thereafter that such emergency continues, each House of Congress shall meet to consider a vote on a joint resolution to determine whether that emergency shall be terminated.
