I would think that Jews/Zionists have disproportionate power/influence in many crucial areas in both countries.
Whether that is defending the actions of Israel with regard to Gaza (operation..Cast Lead), Lebanon or the Occupied Territories. It could be cheerleading for wars by the U S or the U K against Iraq, Libya, Syria and the wet dream....Iran.
I could bring up Cultural, Economic and Spiritual Marxism as subjects.. which appear to show that Jews/Zionism owe greater allegiance to themselves rather than the interests of the country they reside in.

I suppose it is the people who look to Israel as their heaven/mecca/real home; whilst at the same time they will take umbrage with any negative criticism of the Supremacist, Racist, Arrogant state of Israel.
