I wonder if that might be Raz Simone profiled in this Gateway Pundit article? He starred in a film featuring the gang raping of a woman.

.......Raz somehow received a grant for $82,000 from the city of Seattle to open his own studio in a building he purchased with another loan.

And Raz owns multiple luxury cars, including a Tesla, a BMW and a Jaguar XJ.

He also owns some prime real estate and rental properties.

He owns the RAZ fashion line, the Aurora Smoke Shop, a social club called “The Spot”, the Black Umbrella Corporation. All this came from funding in sweetheart deals....

on to disturbing pictures of his 'film'.

CHOP sounds so much more manly, CHAZ was a wimpy name. It also sounds to much like Raz, so the name had to go.
All these things will continue as long as coercion remains a central element of our mentality.

"Normalizing Hate" would have been 1676, 1877 or 1919...

Not to be certain that the reporting's inaccurate, who knows. But quite the pedigree on the source. I'm glad some of our users are above politics and do not engage in the cheap left-right stuff entirely invented by the globalists to keep us divided.

The Gateway Pundit has 30 million page views each month (Stat Counter – Google Analytics). It is consistently ranked as one of the top political blogs in the nation. TGP has been cited by Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, The Drudge Report, The Blaze, Mark Levin, FOX Nation and by several international news organizations.

Jim Hoft was awarded the Reed Irvine Accuracy in Media Award in 2013. Jim Hoft received the Breitbart Award for Excellence in Online Journalism from the Americans for Prosperity Foundation in May 2015.

So I wish the column above by Taylor would get the same attention that Chappelle's video has!
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=42051&p=688566#p688520

Don't you mean the same reaction?

The column is a solidly reasoned opinion piece. In the same opinion section where they printed Senator Cotton's piece, last week, I think it was? Says something about the NYTimes.

What I think it says about the NYTimes, I won't say. Draw your own conclusions, whatever they may be.

Didn't watch the youtube video, I never watch them anymore, and have no desire to. It's fun reading a thread and not watching the videos. Puts a different perspective on things, I recommend trying it!
Both his words and manner of speech seemed at first totally unfamiliar to me, and yet somehow they stirred memories - as an actor might be stirred by the forgotten lines of some role he had played far away and long ago.

LIFE IN PRISON

Postby JackRiddler » Wed Jun 17, 2020 5:14 pm

(on the crosspost: dada- I dunno. You're always reviewing my word choice, which is an honor, I guess? Reaction would mean how people reacted (liked, hated, laughed, found it misogynist) but attention would mean how many people read/watched/thought about it? I'm guessing Chappelle's reception was much larger, that way?)

.

Wonder what it takes to be threatened with a life sentence?

Protesters face life in prison over police car attacks in NY

New York (AFP) - US prosecutors on Friday filed multiple charges against three protesters accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at police cars during anti-racism demonstrations in New York -- charges that could lead to life sentences.

The indictments, filed by federal prosecutors in Brooklyn, accuse Samantha Shader, Colinford Mattis and Urooj Rahman of throwing explosive devices at police cars in two separate incidents in late May.

In both cases, no one was injured.

The three are facing seven charges including arson, possession and use of explosives and destructive devices, and public disorder.

"If convicted of all the counts, they potentially face up to life in prison," a spokesman for the US Attorney's office told AFP.

All three are in custody without bail, though their attorneys have appealed that decision.

The protests took place on the first weekend after George Floyd, an African American man, died after a police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes in Minneapolis on May 25.

His death -- the latest in a long line of unarmed black men who have died at the hands of law enforcement -- ignited nationwide protests as the US faces a reckoning on systemic racism and police brutality.

Most of the demonstrations have been peaceful.

However, some of the protests in New York and other cities across the country -- including the nights at issue in this case -- devolved into looting and violence after dark.

The attitude of the New York police, who at times charged or violently pushed back the largely peaceful protesters, has been widely criticized. Some police officers were disciplined.

One of them was charged after he was filmed violently shoving a woman to the ground, making him the first NYPD officer to face criminal charges over the heavy-handed tactics.

Right, I'd better channel Mac for a second:

Incidentally, is Mac banned? Voluntarily absent? Jack?

In that case can we have a vote on unbanning everyone currently banned, see what happens?

And you don't review my choice of words?

Anyway I wasn't doing whatever it is you're implying. It was a fair observation, I think.

I understand what you're saying, though. More people reacted to the youtube video than the opinion piece, therefore the youtube video "got more attention."

The source has it right, and they are not the subject, Raz Simone, misogyny, warlordism and idealism bent into pretzels are the subject.

But yeah sure, you can change the subject any time.

What's the subject? That is a question.

Is it the cop violence? Is it the videotaped murders of people by the police, after which they almost always get impunity anyway? Is it their historic role in this society as the guardians of its economic and political status-quo, including the racist aspects of this power structure?

Is it the economic catastrophe? Including the one that was already happening when everything was still said to be normal?

Is it the almost entirely non-violent but militant movement that has arisen across the country to address the systemic role of the police and call for in-part radical reforms? Is it the awesome daily cop violence that has followed against that?

Is it the presentation of #BLM and allies as virtuous, or alternatively as riotous and violent, or something in between?

Is it the disinformation about tens of thousands of outside agitators who are "antifa" (according to your preferred outlets), or (in Democratic talk) "white supremacists"?

Is it about right-wing corporate media's attempt to characterize the Movement for Black Lives exclusively through examples like those of an allegedly violent pimp in Seattle who has nothing to do with it? Is it about your evident solidarity with that particular effort?

Time will tell how much Raz Simone has to do with the Movement. Sorry, I can't call it a Movement for Black Lives given that it largely involves burning and looting black areas of cities.

And I do not care for or about Gateway Pundits politics, I care about leftists choosing to paint their signs and 'demands' with Defund the Police, rather the sensible and unifying signage; Demilitarize the Police.

I try to keep it simple, you try to keep it inflammatory.

Confession: I do have my prejudices in these cases. Allegations of memberships can change, first thing I see is always the military part. Active, in this case.

Air Force Sergeant Tied to Far-Right Boogaloo Movement Arrested for Killing Two Officers

HEADLINEJUN 17, 2020
https://www.democracynow.org/2020/6/17/ ... o_officers

An active-duty Air Force sergeant with ties to the far-right “Boogaloo” movement has been arrested for killing two law enforcement officials in California in recent weeks. Staff Sergeant Steven Carrillo is accused of shooting dead a federal security officer in Oakland during the protests over the police killing of George Floyd in May. Later, Carrillo killed a deputy sergeant in the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. Carrillo’s lawyer says the Air Force sergeant had served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. FBI special agent Jack Bennett spoke on Tuesday.

Jack Bennett: “To be clear, Carrillo elected to travel to Oakland to conduct this murder and take advantage of a time when this nation was mourning the killing of George Floyd. There is no evidence that these men had any intention to join the demonstration in Oakland, as some in the media have asked. They came to Oakland to kill cops.”

Authorities have also arrested an accomplice of Sergeant Carrillo’s. Earlier this month, federal prosecutors in Las Vegas charged three other men connected to the far-right Boogaloo movement with inciting violence during the recent protests and conspiracy to commit terrorism. The three men also had experience in the U.S. military.

You can't be serious with this facile characterization—can you?

Have you thought about why there are "black areas of cities" at all?
