Geopolitical Diary: A Leadership Change In Tehran?
January 05, 2007 00 30 GMT

Rumors are circulating that Iran's 67-year-old Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is entering the final stage in his fight against cancer. Though there is an incentive among Western intelligence agencies and Iranian opposition groups to promulgate these rumors -- to give the impression that all is not well in the Islamic Republic -- there appears to be some truth to the reports. Sources inside Hezbollah indicate that the Supreme Leader's death is not imminent, but there is a real possibility that he could become incapacitated within the year. The online political blog Pajamas Media reported Thursday that the Supreme Leader has already died, though the reliability of this information remains uncertain at the time of this writing.

Again:

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei might be in a coma, at least according to a well known American foreign policy expert.

Basing his October 13 entry in the pyjamasmedia.com blog-site not on the rumors "floating around the net for the past day or so" but rather on information from "a person who is in a position to know such things," Michael Ledeen has added his significant voice to the choir of speculation on Khamenei's deteriorating health, while not ignoring his own premature past report of Khamenei's death.

Ledeen, who in addition to Iran specializes in Italian fascism and the Cold War, and worked as a consultant for various US government bodies, cites his "excellent" source as saying that on Monday, the Ayatollah collapsed and was taken to his "special clinic." Since then, the only people allowed near him are his son and doctors. His status was reportedly "in the hands of the gods."

Khamenei's medical condition, says Ledeen, "had already seriously deteriorated over the last months, aggravated by his nervous condition due to his inability to solve the problems created by his manipulation of the election results and the refusal of a large part of the population to accept this," as well as "his loss of religious authority by means of the repeated condemnations of events by senior clerics."

"Speculation is… that he may not come out of his coma and/or that he may die very soon," Ledeen further adds, which would immediately spark "a bloody clash" between the powers behind former Iranian president Hashemi Rafsanjani, "who will immediately claim temporary religious authority and overall control," and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, "who will scramble in order to regain control and ensure their survival."

Ledeen also updated his entry on Wednesday with news of rumors in the Teheran Bazaar that Khamenei died and a reportedly "abnormal atmosphere" in the city.

Now We're Outdone

you know that the real irony of it all is that even if the mullahs and Russian pedophiles are replaced that still wont alleviate the dollar's collapse as global reserve currency.

as during the previous World Wars, when the British lacked the fundamentals to preserve their empire, the same holds now. from the very beginning, it was evident that NWO was an acronym which denoted not some impervious sinister plan, but rather the elite's plan to come to terms with reality.

nukes and all manner of armaments may be unleashed, but what's written in stone is that only China and India have the wealth & population necessary to continue development into the coming era. however America's military preponderance/ economic deficit work to enact that scenario, it will not change the underlying fundamentals so much as reflect some jockeying for position.

well, even supposing that he was signaling the greenies that the joint special ed fuck-tards were all in position; that still wouldn't change the fact that no matter how many gun-toting super-special crackers had landed, the ultimate outcome would be a balance between people following the media-spun dictats of leaders in the Mid-East, Central-Asia, Europe, and North-America, respectively.

change is the only constant

whatever happens in Iran, you will remain a holograph of your own self-interpretation.

the continuity between WW2 and WW3 is that the imperial master will most definitely change. nothing else
