HRES 33 IH

H . RES . 33 Recognizing the thousands of Freemasons in every State in the Nation and honoring them for their many contributions to the Nation throughout its history.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES January 5, 2007

Mr. GILLMOR submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RESOLUTION

Recognizing the thousands of Freemasons in every State in the Nation and honoring them for their many contributions to the Nation throughout its history.

Whereas Freemasons , whose long lineage extends back to before the Nation's founding, have set an example of high moral standards and charity for all people;

Whereas the Founding Fathers of this great Nation and signers of the Constitution, most of whom were Freemasons , provided a well-rounded basis for developing themselves and others into valuable citizens of the United States;

Whereas members of the Masonic Fraternity, both individually and as an organization, continue to make invaluable charitable contributions of service to the United States;

Whereas the Masonic Fraternity continues to provide for the charitable relief and education of the citizens of the United States;

Whereas the Masonic Fraternity is deserving of formal recognition of their long history of care-giving for the citizenry and their example of high moral standards; and

Whereas Freemasons have always revered and celebrated St. John's Day, June 24th, as dedicated to their patron saints: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the House of Representatives recognizes the thousands of Freemasons in every State in the Nation and honors them for their many contributions to the Nation throughout its history.

Not a surprise, look at their achievements for without them we wouldn't have such enforcers as the Ku Klux Klan, the Black Legion and the Fraternal Order of Police, to run protection & terror ops.

Whereas Freemasons have always revered and celebrated St. John's Day, June 24th, as dedicated to their patron saints: Now, therefore, be it...

That day is more significant than just St. John's Day, as it denominates to 6-6 (June= the 6th month and 2 + 4 = 6).

This link might work. Note that the bill was introduced by Paul Gillmor, a republican... my congressman.

Yes, to be fair it was introduced by a republican, but the democrats control the agenda, surely they have more important work to be doing in times like these rather than crap like this.

A few years ago I read a book called The Dealy Deception. Written by one Jim Shaw, ex33rd degree and current born again preacher from FL. He lays out his story of going up thru the ranks, paying for intiations, getting besotted with shriners and learning about what I would consider pseudo rosicrucianism (it reads like Israel Regardie). According to Mr. Shaw the apparent ecunemism and "occult" practices convince him that freemasonry is essentially "satanic" (god help us if mr Spiritual Satanist migrates from the blog to board, ha!) because it turns men away from embracing Lord, Cheese-whiz CRust. As he is about to recieve his thirty third degree (with an un-named ex-POTUS in attendence) the other initiate is asked, "be you xian, jew, mohamedean, or hindi." The man says "none of those. I don't believe any of that shit" and is told to exit out of the interview room thru one door. When Shaw is asked the question he tells his interogaters "JC is my personal saviour" and exits out another door that opened on the lobby. His fellow intiate was nowhere to be found. Shaw "deactivated" right soon thereafter and took up preaching the Gospel.

I bring this book up because I think it probably is a true account and points to the real function of the initiations; essentially it is like an aptitude test and for guys like Shaw they get selected to be the "public face" of Masons, the "solid citizens" that the lodges like to show off. He ascends to the what appears to be the apex without ever knowing what is really going on besides the social climbing factor. His fellow initiate was selected for something else...

Of course this is just my speculation, and the book could be disinfo, but I think that most freemasons don't have a clue about what the organizations real purposes are...

Whatever they are up to I have a thing against secret societies; they don't belong in open and ostensibly "free" societies as transparency is the very lifeblood of democracy.

Yes I read Shaw's book. The Masons INSIST he is lying and made it all up, I thought it interesting when he mentioned that they make initiates drink wine out of an upsidedown skull. In the lodges I have been in they always had a lot of skulls around.

Not sure why you are unhappy with this resolution.The masons are entitled to a day if other people less qualified get them, or rather less relevant.

Skulls

The Tibetan's are pretty partial to them and thigh bone trumpets as well...skullcap drinking vessels (for blood) and the trumpets are used to summon the "hungry ghosts" for the "chod" (the o is supposed to have those two little dots over it) ritual. According to what I've read the summoner offers his own blood to feed the ghosts to "alleviate their suffering" Supposedly its all part of the Bohdisattva's vow.

Maybe because there are many many more important things our elected representitives should be doing, one of which would be doing something about the illegal war going on in Iraq. While more and more Iraqi children and being killed our fucking elected reps are honoring Freemason scum.
