From AP:

[url=http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20070327/sc_space/bizarrehexagonspottedonsaturn;_ylt=ArKBnGlNMkjnh_UNb2MKDTFxieAA]One of the most bizarre weather patterns known has been photographed at Saturn, where astronomers have spotted a huge, six-sided feature circling the north pole.

Rather than the normally sinuous cloud structures seen on all planets that have atmospheres, this thing is a hexagon.

Big pic: Here

Weird.

Weird Coincidence: Saturnalian Cults of Old (Romans come to mind) used to mark places of worship with a 6 pointed symbol (usually a star, but sometimes other formations).

Treading near Hoagland waters with this one, but still it gave me pause.
Too fun to pass up.
And yes I see the irony of being skeptical of Controlled Demolition and then posting this... So be it.

possibly not that weird if you consider cymatic frequencies . . . watch shapes being formed via different frequency tunings

cassinirecorded the sounds eminating from saturn: listen here

i would LOVE to get my hands on a cymatics machine. how genius would that be for live projection at an electronica show . . . mmmm - visually entrancing and real science to boot.

Im just wondering,

Could you put 2 equilateral triangles ( or tetrahedrons ) within that structure ?

;)

Neat. I guess this goes well with the (hurricane) "eye" on the south pole:

in the google video of sound being used to manipulate various substances, solid and liquid,
some of the effects are mind blowing,
rotating spiral galaxies, spinal colomns, pulsating wave shapes banging into each other like two people having sex (ok maybe that one was in the eye of the beholder)

wild stuff though

Melchizedek was the high priest of the cult that worshipped Jupiter, actually

The sooner the better, preferably a non return ticket. Although I'd like to see him get back and become an exhibit in the wall at Doktur Palmer Vreedeez' place.

I was thinking more of the shape which (I believe) forms core of all energy, or the Mercaba

That was great. Thanks for getting me out of the cave.

And where was this when I was thoroughly into drugs!

RE: CROP CIRCLES. That's a win/win in my book. Either its the work of a brilliant artist/prankster or a message from a superior being. And hell, if it gives the willies to a hack writer like M. Knight Shyamalan, there's something good coming out of it.
