I like you, I don't even want to have this exchange with you, but journalistic standards or not, why use language like that? It happened to Carol and to me and to countless others I know at age 4. IT IS TRUE.

Her book isn't easy reading, good luck with it.

I'm sorry, I didn't think "calling bullshit" was offensive. Duly noted.

It finally occurred to me why you two aren't making any sense on top of being hurtful (expletives).

You're calling bullshit on the thread title, not the title of the The Australian article.

This is the title of the article:
Agency's Strangeloves altered mind of a girl aged 4
which describes Rutz's experience.

There's no "Admits" in there.

That's purely the invention of the RI OP poster. The CIA won't ever admit to it, do you think I'd be sitting here typing if they had?

Strangely there is no emotion that could do justice to the egg on my face. Huge apologies for my idiot mix-up. I would blame nomo but that's just silly.

Back to the article for a minute...

Theodore Kaczynski, the Unabomber, volunteered to take part in CIA mind-control experiments when he was a student at Harvard University in the late 50s.

I found it interesting that Ted Kaczynski was also mentioned (although very briefly), as there are two new threads here at RI on his participation in Harvard mind control experiments, so this Australian article was well ahead of the curve.
