TWA 800/missile launcher on lawn/anti-missile defense on jet

Q: If terrorists shot down TWA 800, why wouldn't the U.S. gov't simply say so?

A: Because acknowledging the vulnerability of America's commercial aircraft and 'crediting' terrorists with the act would've (rightly) terrified significant numbers of people right out of flying and collapsed the multi-billion dollar civil aviation industry in this country.

Q: If terrorists shot down TWA 800, why haven't they shot down other U.S. planes?

A: Because after TWA 800, they [terrorists] realized that the act would be covered up and explained away -- not so much in order to deprive them of recognition for their 'accomplishment' but for the purely greedy motives of keeping airplanes full of paying passengers. (Hence, the more drastic, undeniable spectacle of flying planes into buildings just five years later.)

So now read these three articles, and see if you don't go "hmm" just as I have done:

'Zoom climb' scenario falling apart
December 14, 2006
by Jack Cashill

<snip>

...a U.S. district court judge in Los Angeles has granted [Ray] Lahr access to most of the documents he has requested to get at the truth behind the alleged 3,200-foot "zoom climb" of the damaged aircraft.

In the WABC feature, Hoffer interviewed not only Lahr but also [Peter] Goelz, who oversaw the investigation. Wittingly or not, Goelz made the stunning comment that "whether [TWA Flight 800] climbed 3,200 feet or not is really irrelevant."

Irrelevant? Really? The FBI and the CIA did not think so. In 1996-1997, the two agencies climbed over the notorious "wall" to collaborate on an animation showing how a crippled 747 could climb rocket-like for 3,200 feet after its nose had been blown off. This animation was critical. The FBI needed such a scenario to silence the media and close the case.

Jet with Anti-Missile System Leaves LAX
Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007

An MD-10 cargo jet equipped with Northrop Grumman's Guardian anti-missile system took off from Los Angeles International Airport on a commercial flight Tuesday, the company said.

The FedEx flight marked the start of operational testing and evaluation of the laser system designed to defend against shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles during takeoffs and landings.

Missile Launcher Found Near Airport Flight Path
Jul 20, 2007

NEW YORK CITY - A New Jersey woman made what to her and her neighbors was a shocking discovery Friday morning when she noticed a military rocket launcher lying in the grass.

<snip>

Sources say that the device is an AT-4 missile launcher that is used to fire against tanks and buildings. The device was first approved by the U.S. Army in 1985 and its very powerful warheads can penetrate through more than a foot of armor.

Excercises and TWA800

There were massive military excercises off of NYC the day TWA800 was shot down.

And the type and amount of rocket fuel found on seat cushions indicated a fair sized missile.

So check out the possibility that the US navy screwed up and hit TWA800 before assuming it was a rogue shoulder-launch hit.

The cover-up and immediately-following bombing at the Atlanta Olympics helped to amplify the false-flag bombing in Oklahoma City the year before.

And the bogus War on Terra was off and running and the CIA's budget was safe from the Peace Dividend.

Yeah, Hugh, I know about the naval exercises. I also recall that, in the days following TWA 800, the Admiral in charge of the Pacific Fleet was the one who stood before the cameras and stated - quite honestly, no doubt - that he had no knowledge of any naval exercises in the [crash] area at the time. (Well, duh, why would he have known?! The Atlantic wasn't part of his command!)
I just find the propinquity of these three articles 'telling' ... know what I mean? There's something more than simple hilarity at work when the former NTSB man-in-charge says the "zoom-climb" explanation was basically bs and then two weeks later we roll out our first "anti-missile" commercial aircraft, and then right around the 11th anniversary of TWA 800, some lady in Jersey finds a "used" rocket launcher on her effing lawn.
It's not "keyword" crazy, but it's *some* kind of crazy...

The Navy didn't screw up if they did it on purpose. Of course it was the Navy that did it, but it was a hit, not a cock up.

I could've done, but I've not got my notes with me. I probably wouldn't be able to find it anyway.
