srael Warns World War III May be Biblical War of Gog and Magog

by Ezra HaLevi

(IsraelNN.com) US President George W. Bush said a nuclear Iran would mean World War III. Israeli newscasts featured Gog & Magog maps of the likely alignment of nations in that potential conflict.

Channel 2 and Channel 10 TV showed the world map, sketching the basic alignment of the two opposing axes in a coming world war, in a manner evoking associations of the Gog and Magog prophecy for many viewers. The prophecy of Gog and Magog refers to a great world war centered on the Holy Land and Jerusalem and first appears in the book of Yechezkel (Ezekiel).

On one side were Israel, the United States, Britain, France and Germany. On the other were Iran, Russia, China, Syria and North Korea.

US President Bush said Wednesday during a press conference that Iran attaining nuclear weapons raises the risk of "World War III."

"If Iran had a nuclear weapon, it'd be a dangerous threat to world peace," Bush said. "So I told people that if you're interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested [in preventing a nuclear Iran]…I take the threat of Iran with a nuclear weapon very seriously.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Iran Tuesday and slammed the US’s refusal to rule out the use of force against Iran’s nuclear project. "Not only should we reject the use of force, but also the mention of force as a possibility," he said.

Russia has blocked tougher UN sanctions in the UN Security Council, where it has veto power. The Russian president asserts that there is no evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons rather than a peaceful nuclear power program.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni called for a new Security Council resolution against Iran at a press conference following her meeting with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Wednesday. "I do believe there is a need for another Security Council resolution,” she told reporters. “In the past, the need to get everybody on board - including Russia and China - led to some compromises on the nature of the sanctions. I hope this will not be the case this time."

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced Wednesday a sudden trip to Moscow Thursday morning, where he will meet with Putin about Iran. Other topics of discussion will reportedly be Russia’s continued supply of weapons to Syria, which have then made their way into the hands of various terrorist groups based there as well.

"On one side were Israel, the United States, Britain, France and Germany. On the other were Iran, Russia, China, Syria and North Korea. "

Could be very close to what WW3 ends up being before 2012.

I wonder what George "Magog" Bush Sr thinks?

The Prince of Rosh is called Gog in Ezekiel 38:3. It is to be understood that Gog is the name given to the leader of this confederacy and his land is called Magog, which is composed of three parts: Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. The identification of Rosh as modern Russia would seem to be well authenticated and generally accepted. It was predicated that allied with Magog “there would be many peoples with thee” (Ezek.38:15). The first nation federated with Russia will be Persia (Ezek. 38:5). This has reference to the ancient domain known as Iran. In addition it may include certain Arab states as Togarmah, which may include an extensive coalition of Asiatic powers.

What a coinkydink, just as Russia and Iran get all cozy and smug.

The NWO tricksters seem working overtime toward manipulating their eschatological blueprints for global conflict numero three.

Having set up the idea that the Church must constantly wage a battle, Winter now brings forth his "secret mission," so named because of past unbelief and/or disobedience. The purpose of this mission is for the Kingdom of God, "arrayed against the kingdom of evil," to "push darkness back and expand God's rule to the ends of the earth, to the LAST of ALL the world's people" [emphasis added].

Preach the gospel to all men on earth? Yes. But are we to extend God's rule to the last of all the world's people? No, there is no such command in Scripture. The gospel certainly establishes the rule of God in people's hearts through Christ's finished work and its acceptance by any individual.

Yet the simplicity of that fact is clouded by the strategies I described above, such as spiritual mapping (by which demons controlling cities are supposedly displaced by the Church so God's rule in that city can be established through people accepting the gospel). But, in truth, the Gospel is to be preached to prepare all who believe for the day when Christ alone personally establishes God's rule over the cities of the world: (Rev 19:15-16 KJV). . . .

For further reading on what is entailed by Ralph Winter's re-defined Abrahamic Covenant, especially see Ed Tarkowski's Part 5. Many components of this elaborately contrived doctrine are easily recognizable in the current writings of leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation. It is a key tenet of the coming Dominionist world church.

Ralph Winter has recently enlightened the evangelical world as to how he widely disseminated this concocted "Abrahamic Covenant" doctrine.

___
PSEUDO-MISSION: How the Camel Got Its Nose Under the Tent

How did evangelicalism get to the point where its leaders are openly bragging about transforming nations? How did we get to the point where the term "mission" has now been broadened to include marketplace (commerce) and changing the governments of nations? When did "mission" quit meaning evangelism, i.e., sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ from the Written Word of the Bible? When did it start meaning social action of the most dominionist kind?

Today's post is a critical snapshot in time which will help to answer these questions.

___

A dialectic is at work. Some neoevangelical leaders wear the white hat of peace, coming in under the banner of "soft" warfare techniques that have been forged by several generations of American corporate and intelligence executives. Other neoevangelical leaders ride in under the banner of aggression and militancy. The leadership training in marketing techniques carefully crafts either a theme of war or peace depending on the targeted audience in the various strata of evangelicalism.

When evangelical leaders cavort openly with the world powers-that-be, the global internationalists at the various Aspen Institutes -- as discussed on previous Herescope postings this past week -- this fact indicates they have been brought in as "partners" to build an international world governing system. This is not a new thing. It was first developed by the Council on Foreign Relations leaders between the two world wars.
____

Current Prayer Requests:

I request prayers for the lost whom are searching. That they all may find home in Christ's arms, and for all those who suffer in the world, through violence, famine, war, hunger, homelessness etc.

"Russian Chapters of Ezekiel" at:

Mark 13:32 is time sensitive. When Jesus said this no one knew, but the Father. Doesn't mean no one else would ever know. Consider the parable of the ten virgins. The watchman told them to go out and meet him, apparently the watchman knew.

Right now it's time to be trimming your candles and make sure there is oil in your lamps.

There is a young preacher I also heard about lately named Jack Van Impe who seems to really have God's Inside News on these things!!

Wow!!

These are exciting times!!

Bush's Shocking Biblical Prophecy Emerges: God Wants to "Erase" Mid-East Enemies "Before a New Age Begins"

By Clive Anderson, CounterPunch. Posted May 25, 2009.

Bush explained to French Pres. Chirac that the Biblical creatures Gog and Magog were at work in the Mid-East and must be defeated.

The revelation this month in GQ Magazine that Donald Rumsfeld as Defense Secretary embellished top-secret wartime memos with quotations from the Bible prompts a question. Why did he believe he could influence President Bush by that means?

The answer may lie in an alarming story about George Bush's Christian millenarian beliefs that has yet to come to light.

In 2003 while lobbying leaders to put together the Coalition of the Willing, President Bush spoke to France's President Jacques Chirac. Bush wove a story about how the Biblical creatures Gog and Magog were at work in the Middle East and how they must be defeated.

In Genesis and Ezekiel Gog and Magog are forces of the Apocalypse who are prophesied to come out of the north and destroy Israel unless stopped. The Book of Revelation took up the Old Testament prophesy:

"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

Bush believed the time had now come for that battle, telling Chirac:

"This confrontation is willed by God, who wants to use this conflict to erase his people's enemies before a New Age begins".

The story of the conversation emerged only because the Elyse Palace, baffled by Bush's words, sought advice from Thomas Romer, a professor of theology at the University of Lausanne. Four years later, Romer gave an account in the September 2007 issue of the university's review, Allez savoir. The article apparently went unnoticed, although it was referred to in a French newspaper.

The story has now been confirmed by Chirac himself in a new book, published in France in March, by journalist Jean Claude Maurice. Chirac is said to have been stupefied and disturbed by Bush's invocation of Biblical prophesy to justify the war in Iraq and "wondered how someone could be so superficial and fanatical in their beliefs".

In the same year he spoke to Chirac, Bush had reportedly said to the Palestinian foreign minister that he was on "a mission from God" in launching the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and was receiving commands from the Lord.

There can be little doubt now that President Bush's reason for launching the war in Iraq was, for him, fundamentally religious. He was driven by his belief that the attack on Saddam's Iraq was the fulfilment of a Biblical prophesy in which he had been chosen to serve as the instrument of the Lord.

Many thousands of Americans and Iraqis have died in the campaign to defeat Gog and Magog. That the US President saw himself as the vehicle of God whose duty was to prevent the Apocalypse can only inflame suspicions across the Middle East that the United States is on a crusade against Islam.

There is a curious coda to this story. While a senior at Yale University George W. Bush was a member of the exclusive and secretive Skull & Bones society. His father, George H.W. Bush had also been a "Bonesman", as indeed had his father. Skull & Bones' initiates are assigned or take on nicknames. And what was George Bush Senior's nickname? "Magog".

Bullshit. Indubitable, unadulterated bullshit.

Q. Why is all this scary-Christian comic-book fiction suddenly being drip-fed to the "liberal" media?

A. So that we'll remember to be grateful for Obama, the sane secular Messiah. After all: It could be worse.

It's deeply comforting for citizens of the empire to feel superior to the unseated Emperor while adoring his designated successor. Meanwhile, precisely the same imperial policies are being carried out in their name.

true.

however, i really do have to take this time to admit that i actually prefer BRock if i have to "choose" which flavor of imperialism i like better. at least he isn't utterly embarrassing every time he opens his mouth.

also, frankly, i still do believe that a McLame victory would have been worse. If only because he was so obviously unstable that he might've just killed us all in a fit of dementia late some night (10 pm).

Scott Horton Interviews Clive Hamilton

Clive Hamilton, author of the article “Bush, God, Iraq and Gog” at Counterpunch.org, discusses G.W. Bush’s seemingly sincere desire to fight Iraqi and al-Qaeda incarnations of the biblical bogeymen Gog and Magog, the possibility that the U.S. does indeed fight religious wars and the increasingly diverse but still exclusive Skull and Bones society at Yale.
