You! Who are you?

That's the thing though, I think of the world like a supermarket. haha!

No, I just don't see time as a string of moments flashing by, it's a continuous flow to me. The shape, the energy, the sacred geometry, the universe, are all a part of the narrative flow. Where am I in all that?

The body with sacred geometry etched upon it is only in the mind! And where is the mind? In the brain? In the heart? Below the navel? Bring it out, show me this mind!

edited to add: I guess that I see the universe narratively. Time is like a newspaper, it's the copyeditor's job to catch grammatical and printing mistakes, but he's also in charge of the overall narrative frame. Put this article next to that one, put that article back by the sports page.

Sacred geometry is baseball!

The relationship between irreducible qualities. Apples and oranges. Products of unresolvable equations. Love, sex, death. Transformations of sacred geometry. Apples to oranges. A music of the spheres turning in real time. Is pluto a planet?

These function according to basic principles. Kings poisoning themselves by drinking alchemical gold aside, the 'metals' and the 'planetary energies' are ready for the 'work' only when they're purely symbolic. Held up to the mirror, the universe is a symbolic chemistry kit. No instructions, just the notes scribbled by some kids who just got lucky not that long ago.

Of course with real metals you have an actual chemistry kit. So it's like having that, but purely symbolically. Study, study, study. In that same whirlpools to whirlwinds way.

edited to add: Products of equations with no solutions. Like the equations that produce fractals. Alchemical suburban tech wasteland.

But I meant it like honor and compassion. You imagine you're bringing the king's money to the bank, pass by a beggar. Do you honor the king or help the beggar. You're broke, by the way. All the money is the king's money.

How you answer this doesn't matter - walk on by, get fired, promise to come back and bring him a sandwich - remember, the beggar was in your mind. But the feelings, of honor, compassion arise in people in differing degrees. And varying in mixtures over time, since honor and compassion are both admirable qualities, and irreducible. They clean up nicely as symbols for study. You can even study symbolically.

General principles. Figure/background. Silence, signal, noise. Truth, spin. 'Inward' oriented 'movement' is imaginary, symbolic. Like you're centered, with the scene moving around you. First person shooter-style. Symbolic movement with imaginary weapons.

How many general principles are there. I don't know. Whatever works. Set theory, making venn diagrams might be a general principle. I leave that up to the copyeditor.

How many irreducible qualities, imaginary reagents are there. How many do you think? How many do you need? A purely symbolic periodic table of the elements isn't like a list of ingredients to pick up at the store. Eggs, milk, loaf of bread, butter. What, am I just having breakfast?

Well, they do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A complete, balanced Bernays breakfast. Box of cosmic cruiser cereal with a prize inside. Whatever works. And don't try to steal Mrs. Yang's Kung Fu Cookbook, she'll hit you with a pan.

How long do you cook it. In symbolic, imaginary time? As long as it takes, I guess. Better question is how hot should you make it. Don't use the microwave. Use philosopher's stone charcoal briquettes! haha Light 'em up. Imaginary fire made of symbolic light. Throw those cards and maps in while you're at it.

In dream, time can appear to move like it does outside. Also in daydream, reverie. In liminal spaces time moves, but in warped ways. Dream is like going to the shop to buy some special ingredients from the cat shopkeeper. Difficult emotions that you may not be able to get in the outer world shops. By now all your ingredients should already be on the cutting board, all chopped up and prepared.

No, you can't take a peek at Mrs. Yang's cookbook. You need clearance for that. And I mean clearance. She could knock you out with that frying pan.

Right again. That's exactly what they've done, make us feel insignificant. Woe unto me, for I couldn't possibly change my destiny. We are mired in our mistakes. The male phallic pyramid power paradigm bites into all, chews us up and leave us feeling like discarded bubble gum on a summer side walk. Did anyone get the license plate number to that bus of the universe that ran us all down? Your right of course again, all time happened all at once, try that hat on for size. How could there be a tomorrow without yesterday? Time is simply things in motion as some Twilight Zone episode might explain, everything freezes when time stops. As Penny, the stepford wife, desperate need for a 'time out' delivers cessation of all the animosity bearing down on us. "SHUT UP!", she screams, her husband's, mommy, mommy fix my shirt...the cacophony of life is finally halted. A Little Peace and Quiet, isn't that what we all want? Geometry, the study of dimensions, bust out your square and compass again. The royal foot, the biblical cubit, the sweep of angles the sampling of analogs. I've heard tale that 'alchemy' was born of early Egyptian (perhaps pre-dynastic) philosophies, not religion, original something like al khemet. Khemitology, transformational information...knowledge. Nothing happens in a vacuum. As I said the crime scene scenario, every last moment we experience is change, we cannot help but affect one another. The pyramid power paradigm, talk to your CEO, President, Prime Minister, Pope about it, it's killing us. That great eye staring us down. John Carpenter's They Live shouts, "this is your god!" And how desperately we obey it's rancorous charms. When shall my voice equal yours? Don't we all strum our own instruments in this discordant symphony of life?! Phoebe Bridgers crones, "Jesus Christ, I'm so blue all the time!" That ever peaceful mark of life, a sweet heavenly, blue as the iris of an aryan, the beaming colour of the star of David on the sullied flag of Israel. War, violence drowns reason. Time is calculatory. It's not it's every progressing clock that tires us out, but what we do with it that matters. I'm pretty sure that bus that ran us down bore a vanity plate reading, "YHWH". Fear me.

Who am I? The Ram. 26.3.1973

Help. Help one another. It's the greatest thing you will ever do. It's wages deliver meaning to life. Happiness means nothing unless it's shared. A man died to find that truth. Let's not forget it.

Light is a good place to bring up the distinction between outside light, 'visualizing' light, and imaginary, symbolic light. Like you see a horse, you picture a horse, you think of a horse. Essence of horse. Put it in a bottle. Just an example.

Essence of light is what you cook with. It doesn't run on any fuel, because it's imaginary. Anyway 'Quests for Power,' the 'Hero's Journey,' and 'Power' itself are ingredients, all prepared. They better be prepared. I'm sure everyone has heard the stories of what happens when an alchemist tries using undistilled sulfur. They blow up the laboratory.

It's like a failsafe built into the laboratory. Use power, blow up. This is probably the main reason why power hates heretics so much. It has no access to the lab.

Outside of the lab, 'Visualizing light' can be helpful in a pinch, especially in dreams, daydreams and the liminal places in between. There's some question as to whether Vizualizing light works on the outside world. Up to you, but if a cop with a club is standing in front of you, I recommend just moving fast. And of course there is some confusion as to where liminal spaces begin and end. But that's visualizing light. A picture of a horse.

And don't even bother trying to run from Mrs. Yang. The frying pan never misses.

Have you ever considered that your iPhone might be conscious? Or your computer or TV? The reasoning, if I remember correctly, goes something like:

Assuming that the mind resides in the physical brain and that there isn't any kind of supernatural stuff going on, then you might argue that what we experience as consciousness is an emergent property of all the signals bouncing around inside our skulls.

If that's the case, who's to say the same thing doesn't also happen to other systems that reach a certain level of complexity?

Not that I think my phone is conscious, but if you look at machine learning and AI we're long past the stage of having a clue what is actually going on inside them. They're already doing stuff that humans simply can't predict.

Justice is another irreducible quality. A strong feeling which arises. 'having acted valorously on the battlefield of the mind.' Bravery, courage, is behind that.

I think Justice is a most beautiful goddess. But out here, you can't even see her. She's too swift. You have to look inward. "She's hot," you say. Yeah, no kidding.

Honesty, another irreducible. You imagine you're in the magic reagent store, buying stuff. The weirdo behind the counter is blind, like Justice. Do you try to rip him off?

Again, doesn't matter what you answer. The idea with this one is that Honesty is simply being honest with yourself. And how difficult can that be. Bravery is behind that, too.

Take up your imaginary weapons, and march off to war. With your magic bag of tricks, Burroughsian arsenal. Just remember that there's no time when you're 'moving' in the first person-shooter perspective. No space, no time. You're a scientist, surely you must grasp this concept, be honest.

You are making things up, the non-dual mind state does not equate with being in a vegetative state, to the contrary, when the dualistic state of mind is transcended, there is only actual reality present, not the maya of apparent multiplicity that the dualistic mind perceives and/or conceives.. And to correct your misunderstanding, there is no separate 'you' who sees the underlying one nature of reality, there is only one reality, the seer and the seen are one. So long as there is a seeker and that sought, the mind is functioning in a dualistic framework and thus can never realize the underlying unity of the apparent multiplicity of all existence.

Decoding Death: The science and significance of near death experiences

[ Listen to the full episode 54:00 ]

People have reported "near death experiences", or NDE's, over centuries and across cultures. The nature of them has historically been the territory of religion and philosophy. But now science has staked its claim in the discussion. And the questions are profound: where is consciousness produced, in the brain, or somewhere else? Can consciousness continue to exist even after the heart and brain have stopped working? Contributor Ashley Walters explores the science and the meaning of near death experiences. **This episode originally aired December 7, 2016.

"Our evidence suggests that the brain does not function. Yet we do have a group of people that come back with very profound recollections and awareness of exactly what was happening to them when they were technically dead, and when you talk to their physicians and nurses and experts such as myself, they should not have been able to recall. And so of course this opens up a whole Pandora's Box of what do we need for consciousness to occur? Well, we know that in order for us to recall our consciousness of course you have to have a functioning brain, but the question is, is it brain cells that are generating consciousness or is consciousness a separate undiscovered scientific entity that is not necessarily produced by the brain but may be able to modulate the brain itself." – Dr. Sam Parnia

How a near death experience be possible?

Tony Cicoria was 42-years-old, and successful orthopaedic surgeon in upstate New York. It was the summer of 1994, and a storm was approaching. At one point, he wanted to call his mother.

This was before the age of cell phones so Tony walked over to a nearby payphone. He remembers every detail of what happened next. "I dialled her number, I let it ring seven or eight times and then I started to hang up the phone. As I pulled it away from my face, I heard a loud crack and I saw a flash of light. It came out of the phone and hit me in the face and threw me back like a rag doll."

Tony was about to experience something few people live to talk about.

Tony had gone into cardiac arrest. Luckily, the woman waiting in line behind him happened to be a nurse, and she started CPR immediately. And then, things got even stranger.

Tony stood beside his body and watched as the nurse started CPR. He could hear everything that people were saying around him, but nobody could hear or see him. "At that moment I realized that oh my God, I was still thinking in the same way that are normally would if I was alive."

Tony was having what's known as an NDE — a near death experience.

It's a heightened state of consciousness reported by people who were clinically dead, or who believed they were about to die. And Tony's not alone; there have been thousands of cases of people who've been revived after going into cardiac arrest. And in some of these cases people have reported accurate memories of the time after their hearts and brains had flatlined.

The Cosmology of Consciousness, Miracles, and New Co-Created Possibilities
By Steve Robertson

June 29, 2018 a musical note seeking union with the harmony of itself, the soul returns to human form, to earth, in order to heal and integrate into a more perfect remembrance of the Divinity of love it already is. The soul, on this plane of reality, innocently expresses itself through the lens of the body’s DNA. This crystalline prism holds the harmonic records of our soul’s evolutionary journey towards enlightenment.  In Sanskrit and ancient Hindu teachings, this soul record or blueprint is known as the Akashic Records.

“Consciousness is somehow a by-product of the simultaneous, high-frequency firing of neurons in different parts of the brain. It’s the meshing of the frequencies that generate consciousness, just as tones from individual instruments produces the rich, complex, and seamless sounds of a symphony orchestra.” – Francis Crick, co-discoverer of DNA.

Image

Francis Crick, the co-discoverer of DNA, likened DNA to a crystal.  Interesting, in the early stages of the invention of the radio, it was referred to as a Crystal-Set.  The reason for this was that there was a literal small crystal embedded within the circuitry of the radio that served to electronically capture/receive the broadcasted or transmitted radio frequencies.

Various religious and spiritual texts purport that the cosmology from which the Divine transmits its perpetual loving guidance is known by the term of “Music of the Spheres”.  It is understood and believed that the aim of this transmission is to serve and guide both individual and collective consciousness towards a greater state of enlightenment.   Respective to one’s belief and faith in such religious promises it is interesting to note that the Upanishads, the oldest recorded spiritual text on the planet, actually translates into “The Last Song”. And, the Bhagavad-Gita, the world’s second oldest spiritual text translates into “Song Celestial” or “Song of the Lord”.  Finally, in the Bible, the word the “Word” literally translates into “Primary Harmony.”

“In the beginning was the word,” (the “word” translates into “primary harmony”, according to John the Evangelist of the first century A.D.) “and the word was with God,” says John 1:1. “Then God said, Let there be light,” says Genesis 1:3. Buddhists call the primary harmony “OM.”

YOUR DNA AS A COSMIC RECORD OF YOUR SOUL’S EVOLUTIONARY JOURNEY

Respectively as such, it stands to reason that all thoughts and actions, loving or fearful, would be recorded onto the soul’s DNA record.

Imagine this Akashic Record, if you will, as your soul’s cosmic cloud memory. Each and every thought, action, and experience of your past and present life is recorded, becomes imprinted, and integrated into your DNA.  As our thoughts advance towards a greater integrity of love or into a more integrated state of the I AM (realized enlightenment), so does the DNA (the soul’s physical antenna), helixes back and forth in correlation to this awareness and in direct connection with the Divine’s transmission.

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla

The purer the intent of our heart, mind, soul, and actions to reflect and mirror our true self, the I AM,  the greater, more directly, and clearly our DNA antenna receives and computes the Divine’s message of our life purpose and how to achieve it on this plane of reality.   The greater our conscious intent to awarely choose from the integrity of our soul’s life mission the greater our ability to witness miracles.

“As a MAN (“man” is a Sanskrit word meaning “Consciousness”) thinketh in his heart, so is he”. King Solomon, The Bible

MIRACLES

Miracles are a naturally occurring state as they define how the Universe is ordained to work.    Our ability to see and/or witness miracles relates to and is a function of what the Course In Miracles refers to the ability to shift awareness from “perception” (seeing through the eyes of the ego mind, the illusion of fear, lack, and reaction) into a state of having “Vision” which entails seeing through the eyes of the Christ Consciousness as defined through love, peace, compassion, and forgiveness.

Miracles collapse the gaps of time and space as defined by attachments to fear, drama, and their related obstacles and a newly envisioned outcome as called forth through a prayer that brings into form a more loving reality.   Therefore, the more we use our inner discernment to align our consciousness with the loving inner truth of our I AM, the more the attached and illusionary veils fall away so that we can witness the miracle that is already there.

To the contrary, the more fearfully unconscious and distracted we choose to BE through allowing unloving thoughts to blind inner awareness and outer actions then the more drama we co-create in terms of people, situations, and circumstances.    In truth, unconscious thoughts and drama serve to bend our DNA antenna out of alignment with its direct, clear and true transmission of the Divine’s loving life mission lessons.  In other words, in fearful and distracted states of awareness, we will only receive statically scrambled transmissions that result in mental errors, mistakes and/or actions that could also be termed “sin.”  Respectively, keep in mind that the word “Sin” is simply an ancient archery term that means “to miss the mark” or miss the bulls-eye, or if you will, to BE and act out of tune or sync with the Divine’s transmission.

“The ancestor of every action is thought” – Emerson

THE PHYSIOLOGY OF THE SOUL

At present, science describes our human anatomy as first developing from a single cell, which then divides into the complicated matrix of the body vessel we currently occupy.  This methodically orchestrated process of creation is hardly magic though most seem to hold it as so.  On a physiological level and from birth, our consciousness is hard-wired to hear and to listen.  Among the first bones to develop in the human fetus is the ear bone, hearing is the first sense to develop in the fetus and it is also the last sense to go when we die is also hearing.

The cochlea
, part of the inner ear, looks like the shell of a snail.  In it, there are some 60,000 hair cells, each of which resonates like a microscopic tuning fork, to a specific frequency or sound.  As one of these specific hair cells resonates, a corresponding neurological impulse is sent to the brain, causing the release of neuropeptides, or what is called “communicator molecules.”  Music is the only art form where both right and left hemispheres of the brain work simultaneously.  MIT has shown through PET scans that the penial gland, or what mystics refer to as the “third-eye, is the area of the brain the processes music.

My suggested hypothesis is, from a spiritual and physiological perspective, that the cosmological blueprint of consciousness and our body is brought into form as a primary function of the Music of the Spheres, OM, Amen, Christ, Buddha, Muhammad, or Krishna Consciousness being transmitting through our body’s DNA.  Our body’s DNA crystal radio receiver is a hybrid continuum and corollary of our collective soul awareness, that of our parent’s consciousness and the gene pool of all of our descendants and their experiences.

Respectively, I suggest that our DNA is the physical expression of our soul’s Akashic records in this particular time and space coordinate.  It is the blueprint by which the physiology of our body is formulated and all of our respective mental, athletic and creative talents are given foundation.  Ultimately, the process of taking human form serves the purpose of bringing our consciousness back online so that the present life mission work can bring us ever closer to atonement, or, our realized enlightenment.

ARE YOU CHOOSING TO TUNE IN AND PAYING ATTENTION OR SLEEPWALKING?

In other words, imagine if you will that at the moment of conception your DNA antenna gets turned on.    Now and at this time, the Divine’s perpetual and continuous transmission love begins to port through our activated DNA.  This signal transmission now begins to naturally fragment into the respective bandwidths of consciousness that reflect the residues of thought-form and beliefs that we remain attached to and that spiritually separate us from the realized Divinity of the I AM that we already are.  Now online, this spiritual baseline serves to empower how we can receive, transmit, interact with, and navigate the overall matrix of the Music of the Spheres.

Visualize this process if you will, by imagining your DNA as a physical crystal prism that has a white light (enlightenment) running through it.   From the point of entry into our DNA and out from the opposite side of this prism the white light (or again, as we metaphorically reference this as “Divine Truth”) now becomes fractured into each of the respective color attributes of this light; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.  Note that each of these colors also varies within the scope and reach of their bandwidth.

Let’s say each of these color elements metaphorically define aspects of our soul awareness. As an aggregate, they reflect fearfully fragmented, attached and unhealed aspects of our consciousness that we have returned to earth to work on.   See the rainbow spectrum of colors and each subtle point of separation as one of the veils of illusion (or what the Hindu’s call “Maya”) that now separates us from the Divinity of the I AM we already are.  Similarly, these same color aspects of separation can be seen, from Buddha’s perspective, as demarcations that define our soul’s fearful attachments that cause our suffering.

Image

MAYA, THE VEILS OF ILLUSION

So imagine if you will, that with each step of our consciously chosen journey back to our true soul self (the I AM) we serve to transform, transmute and collapse the fractured veils of our illusions into an integrated singular beam of light.  In this state of awareness, the light of our soul’s DNA now reflects an integrated singularity of consciousness that mirrors our atonement or enlightenment.

“All that we are is a result of what we have thought” – Buddha

Respectively and simply put, I suggest that the purpose to our life’s journey here on planet earth is to discover the veils of illusion that we have fearfully attached us to and separate us from the truth of our I Am and then consciously and courageously collapse them so that we can return to the light and become fully integrated as Holy vessels.   As we consciously choose more lovingly empowered thoughts our attachments dissolve and the veils of separation fall away so that we witness the miracle that we are.  In this state of being fully healed and loving we transcend any and all fearful limitations.  In this state, we can better understand our role and take action on our unique life mission of contributing to ever greater love, peace, and joy in our world.

Certain spiritual texts remind us that the Divine, Music of the Spheres, or the Kingdom of Heaven, is within each of us. They remind us that we may not enter this Kingdom of Heaven until we become as a child, a metaphorical reference to a consciousness of innocence. In such innocence, we are able to find stillness from which we can know the creative power of our God-self within.

THE RECORD OF OUR SOUL

Towards this ultimate state of enlightened awareness, here is another way to imagine this, if you will: Your soul’s record is literally imprinted onto an old vinyl record. From birth, the needle of our awareness is dropped (gently or otherwise) on the outer edge of the soul record of this particular time and space reality. The needle both plays and records each note of our life’s symphony. Like all records of this type, the needle tracks from the larger/outer radius of our heart song toward the inevitably smaller/center of our radical enlightenment.  It is interesting to note that the word “radical” actually means “closest to the center”.

Through love and gratitude, we become aware of the rhythmic flow of our soul’s grand melody. Through fear and judgment, we find the needle sinks into a groove of disharmony, unpleasantness, and discordant notes that painfully repeat over and over again. In Sanskrit, such grooves in consciousness are called “Samskaras”.

Stuck in these self-created grooves, the needle of our awareness digs ever painfully and deeper into the record of our subconscious. The ego mind ensures that we become attached to disharmony, begin to suffer and adjust to the discordant notes as being normal. Attached in this unconsciousness and suffering, our heart ever longs for the true melody of our soul’s joy.

THE EMPOWERED CHOICE OF BEING AT CAUSE vs BEING THE VICTIM AT FAULT

This crossroad of unconsciousness and joyful longing marks the awakening of our intent to rejoin the symphony of our life song, our life purpose. Mindful of the disharmony of fear and lesson of greater love, we can choose to drop the awareness pebble of the Ho’oponopono into the groove to interrupt the monotony of discordance and pain.

The Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian process of reconciliation and forgiveness. At its mystical core are the elements of mental cleansing, putting things right and rectifying errors. Attending with this awareness activation is the recognition that we are always 100% at cause and responsible for any problem. Similarly, it is defined that we are also 100% capable of rectifying any and all errors. Four short phrases activate the process of this healing process and release us from the groove of suffering: “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” Through the melody of these words, we can transmute and transcend the error of attached and fearful thoughts and choose instead to co-create an inspired new heart song.

Now, as the needle begins to track back through the old groove of unpleasantness the pebble now serves to bump the needle back onto the record surface.  From here, a new and ever more gorgeous melody begins to play. Our heart feels lifted and we are inspired by a song of new possibilities.

Frail in this new moment, the needle runs ever close to the edge of our old groove or patterns and the ear is tempted by the discord we were once trained to find familiar. If our resolve is weak, the needle is pulled back into the groove and with this, the depth and darkness of our experiences will grow in strength. If our courage is strong the needle will continue towards our radical center and float on angelic notes that proclaim the symphony of our harmonic enlightenment.

CO-CREATING EMPOWERING REALITIES

Each moment of the day, nanosecond after nanosecond, we are co-creating a reality from which we are either conscious or unconscious. To the degree we are conscious, lovingly paying attention to the moment, our co-creativity tends to reflect a flow of ease and grace in our experiences. To the degree we are unconscious, we reactively and retrospectively discover the fearful hand that has scripted the dramatic sequences of our existence.

Curiously, we wonder how it is that certain people, places, and circumstances show up in our lives. Some of these experiences show up and bring peace, joy, and prosperity into our lives. Other experiences seem to bring sadness, anger, and poverty.   For the most part, these experiences appear as a random series of events which seem to suggest we have either little or no control over things.  As a result, we choose to feel either lucky or like a victim.  The greater truth of the matter is that we are always co-creating whether we are conscious of it or not.

There's near and far in space, but inside there's feelings of closeness and distance. To people, to things, to thoughts and ideas. But contemplating theoretical light aside..

The time-'traveling' first-person shooter must be in full panopticon surround. Like you're centered in the middle of a torus ring, right in the hole. Win a free game at galaxy golf. Yet another bullfight video game hologram for the sports section.

So, between the heart and the mind. Which is the matador, and which is the bull?

The mind is the always the bull. It's just good casting, the heart is a better matador.

The bull that thought it was a matador, right up until showtime. You should've seen the look on his face as he realized when it was time to sacrifice the bull.

When I go to work at the press, I start off in the dark room shooting the layout onto page-sized negatives on an old contraption. A wet/dry vac creates the suction that holds the negative in place above a camera lens, the layout being photographed goes under glass in a box with lights below. Nothing like twenty minutes of vacuum noise in a dark room to get you started.

It's a small paper, everything there is old, old. I'm the oldest thing there, of course. Older than your grandfather's grandfather.

I notice when I put the negative up, the vacuum works harder. As is natural when something gets in the way of a vacuum.

But I also notice that when I turn on the lights, the vacuum doesn't have to work as hard. Why is that? Light is going up through the lens, making a negative print on a piece of plastic. How is the light making the vacuum's work easier?

Maybe somebody has already studied this, I don't know. After that, I get my hands in some chemicals. Is this alchemy? No, we're just printing a newspaper.

After the chemicals comes some heavy lifting, running the press, mechanical labor. Marvel how the delicate paper moves unbroken through the pulsing machine. Except when it breaks. Then you gotta climb all over the printing press, re-threading the web of paper. Try not to get ink everywhere. You don't want that shit in your car.

When the great work is complete, do some collating. Labor gets more mechanical. I think about Walter Benjamin, and the means of mechanical reproduction. Taking control of the means of mechanical reproduction. Not like 'stopping the press,' but like printing ten thousand monkeywrenches a minute.

I doubt that's what he meant. I think about a Japanese bus strike I read about recently, the drivers stopped taking fares. I thought what a great idea that is. I remember a subway strike in new york, everyone was out to kill these strikers, out for blood. Do that stop taking fares strike, the people are on your side. Smart move, right?

So when you throw your wrenches, take careful aim. Your monkeywrench doesn't even have to be a wrench. Think about Monkey; he takes one hair off his arm, chews it up and spits it out and suddenly there are ten thousand of him in front of you. And Monkey has great aim.

To the scientist,

Real time is moving. Whether you think consciousness was there at the beginning, or 'before the beginning,' or happened when humans started talking, or writing, or in the present moment, or it hasn't happened yet, anyone reading this is conscious.

At some point this consciousness happened or is happening. Leaving aside questions of odds, the fact that it happened means that it was possible. A Universe with a brain in it that imagines pictures and tells stories inside, has dreams while asleep. Not everything that is possible has to happen, but everything that happens has to be possible.

As it happens, it did. An Imaginary mind inside of a literal brain inside of a literal universe, exists. The non-existent imaginary mind 'exists,' in this, the literal sense.

I guess I'm just trying to provide context for this non-existent, imaginary mind inside of a brain inside of a universe. A no dimensional space. Sounds like a pretty serious piece of tech from thousands of years ahead of our time. And we use it for playing Sherlock Holmes and worrying about the ai baby.

I agree with the scientist on some basic facts, There is a real universe, with real brains in it, in time, and an imaginary mind. My disagreement is to say that the mind can't be in the brain, because it's an imaginary, no dimensional space. How can it be 'in' the brain when it doesn't really exist.

Saying that whether consciousness is or is not a product of the brain, the imaginary mind isn't a product of consciousness, because it's imaginary, made up, no product. The brain can't say it produces the mind, because the mind doesn't technically exist, it's imaginary.

A null space, or a no-weapon, or made-up ghost-machine of unspecified purposes that doesn't technically exist, or whatever. I just think scientists would see the value in that.

So I'm trying to bring out the significance and meaning. Here's another thing that doesn't really exist. When I'm driving, I can let my body 'hang loose,' feel the weight of the arms. Or I can 'get into it,' I'm driving. Still relaxed, but no weight, arms feel light, no aches and pains, strong core. What is that 'energy'? Just paying attention? Feels like more. Invigorating, makes the mind sharp. I know even if some maniac comes driving along, at least I'm ready for 'em. Just get lucky.

Bravery is knowing that even when you make the most of opportunities, sometimes you don't get lucky. Bravery is making the most of failure. A vital substance, make a lot of it.

Is this the same one I promised to check out ages ago? If so, sorry about that, but tbh I just don't listen to talk radio or podcasts. It just takes too long to get the information compared to reading a transcript, and I lose patience very fast.

What I have done is read up on it more generally, and honestly, I'm just not convinced. There's still so much we don't know about the brain and our bodies that jumping straight to out of body experiences instead of some more mundane explanation that we just haven't thought of yet seems a bit far-fetched to me.

If one day we have a perfect understanding of our brains and bodies and we still can't explain NDEs, then you get a free "I told you so" and the right to mercilessly mock me for three months straight. :)

It's the difference between saying "processes in the brain create the imaginary mind, therefore the imaginary mind is in the brain," and "Processes in the brain create the imaginary mind, therefore the imaginary mind is imaginary, it doesn't exist." And yet, here we are.

But I think light can come in handy here, this time with its particle and wave natures. It behaves like 'things' and 'not things,' depending on how you measure it.

Light moves pretty fast, either way. Faster than a picture, or a word can multiply, and that's pretty fast nowadays.

Ah, but I'm looking to the day when we can explain NDEs—but with 'non-local' consciousness. The scientists in the program are on a good start: they are willing to look at the possibility. That open-minded (and truly scientific) attitude alone is refreshing, and their revolutionary findings should encourage more serious study.

Non-local, discarnate consciousness independent of a brain can probably be understood scientifically, but people have to first acknowledge its possibility. Those stuck in the old, rigid ways of thinking, like the 'scoffer' in the program, will be left behind. There is much to discover.

P.S. I looked for a transcript to no avail. I usually listen to these things while I do other things, but that doesn't work for everyone.
