Sen. Leahy not buying FBI's b.s. on Anthrax Killer

Surprised this hasn't been posted here yet:

Senator, Target of Anthrax Letter, Challenges F.B.I. Finding

WASHINGTON — Senator Patrick J. Leahy, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and a target of the anthrax letters of 2001, said Wednesday that he did not believe the F.B.I.’s contention that an Army scientist conducted the attacks alone.

At a hearing of his committee, Mr. Leahy told the F.B.I. director, Robert S. Mueller III, that even if the bureau was right about the involvement of the scientist, Bruce E. Ivins, who killed himself in July before ever being charged, he thought there were accomplices.

“If he is the one who sent the letter, I do not believe in any way, shape or manner that he is the only person involved in this attack on Congress and the American people,” said Mr. Leahy, Democrat of Vermont.

“I believe there are others involved, either as accessories before or accessories after the fact,” he added. “I believe there are others who can be charged with murder.”

Mr. Leahy, who has received special briefings on the investigation because one of the anthrax-laced letters was addressed to him, later declined to elaborate. “Sorry,” said an aide, David Carle, “but he said his piece and does not intend to comment further today.”

This is, of course, getting almost ZERO press coverage.

Gotta love Leahy. But who can blame him -- they tried to KILL HIM.

But why did Leahy take 7 years to get there, at least publicly? What has changed to make him feel it safe to make such assertions now?

.

Just being an honest Democrat, I figure. Take seven years to say what he's been thinking the whole time?

I think this episode illustrates why the regime wants so badly to steal this election, even though Obama's totally on board with the reigning system and vetted and no inherent threat to the PTB. 9/11 won't be reopened so easily, but this anthrax thing is one of many easy loose ends to pull in a pinch, and it probably unravels its way into other clusterfucks.

After all they've done, they just don't want to risk a black man who wasn't in on their crimes until now.

Well, Leahy has been pressuring the FBI to figure this out all this time. So now they've come out with their "conclusion" about Ivins and they want to put it to rest.

Leahy is simply saying "wait a minute, this is bullshit. Go back and do your jobs".

Leahy can't fund his own investigation. The FBI is supposed to do it. That's why they exist. That's why they're funded.

Such a trip to see the Daniel Pearl case(which ties to 9/11) reopended by Georgetown university students, and now a top leading Democrat questioning the official anthrax story.

Im also proud of people like Cynthia Mckinney and Dennis Kuncinich for daring to question the official 9/11 narrative

As a Vermonter, I'm under the impression Leahy has been unequivocal about believing there was gov/mil involvement in the Anthrax attacks. He was certainly outspoken locally.
