Zangtang's post brought my own memory of a moment in time rushing back into focus. This incident also had that same intensity.
1983...in the midst of an agonizing time of deep loss and psychic disarray...lifted my head from the pillow; looked at 11:11 on the digital bedside clock...at the exact moment that a feminine voice, external to my skull, told me the precise thing I needed to know at that time. It was a sanity-saver; maybe even a life-saver.
What was 'said' to me was of such penetrating insight into the core of the situation that was tormenting me. I was in extreme pain and confusion, and the insight was very distant from the way I had been perceiving things. To this day I have no doubt that the voice originated from an entity other than myself; a benign entity.
