Supposedly from Ireland according to
this article. But I saw this last week
on youtube. The poster said the footage is from a camera he
found in the Smokey Mountains (wherever that is).
Amazing video if it isn't fake.

Looks like LED lights in a dark room to me
Anyway I remember years and years ago, I was out in my parent's front yard and looked up and saw a very large flying triangle with lights on it. It was moving like a regular plane, etc., though, so i just thought, "gee, I don't recognize that one." A couple months later they announced the before-then seceret B-2 bomber had been developed, and it looked exactly like what I saw. I lived in a military area and was out looking through telescopes at night on an airbase once, and the stealth fighter took off from one of the hangers while it was still "secret". Someting to keep in mind.

Imagine how handy one of those would be against a bunch of impoverished insurgent taxpayers in the wake of a financial Armageddon. Just sayin'.

The original article is interesting.
He added that he would not rule out speculation that increased UFO activity in the north Dublin and Meath areas was linked to the road construction works near Tara. "We cannot rule this out as a possibility. We are talking about a very ancient sacred place,"
Thanks for the links

The description of the youtube video was updated today...
This is a video was on a cheap camera I found when Hiking in the Smokey Mountains.
This is all that was on it.
(edit 10-09-2008)
I can not believe how much interest this video has gotten.
To answer a few questions.
The camera was NOT a camera phone
it is a cheap picture camera with video capibility. It had no sound.
It only had a 4meg card in it and the video filled the whole card.
It was found along a trail near the North Carolina/Tennessee border.
It was found before the Irish video was announced. I only put it up when I heard about that one because it sounded like the same thing.
A UFO/Paranormal reacher has the original right now. He said he will put the full higher quality video up this weekend on a website. When he does I will come back and post the link on top of this page.
I am not claiming to be the person that filmed it. I have no idea what it is, I want your opinion good or bad.
I just thought it was very interisting and a bit scary.
I can tell you that when you see the original you can see that it is in fact a laser coming from it.
Seeing how the ufo hoax contest is held in North Carolina, it seems likely that that's where the video originated. I don't know how this relates to the Irish witnesses though, do they have a different cellphone video?

Ninja devil duck.
Somewhere in between the frauds, hoaxes, government disinformation, high-end cgi capabilities in the hands of internet trolls, and international fake UFO photography contests, there is a troubling phenomenon at work. Yeah.

Alternate debunking: the now ubiquitous "chinese lanterns".
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/ireland/article4926692.ece
Footage of ‘flying saucers’ that caused a buzz around the world is revealed to be Chinese lanterns from a wedding
A video of mysterious illuminated objects floating over Dunboyne was described as “the best UFO footage ever filmed in Ireland and some of the best ever worldwide” by enthusiastic pursuers of alien craft.
The sightings made front-page news, interesting “UFOlogists” globally, according to Carl Nally, co-founder of Paranormal Research Ireland and joint author of Conspiracy of Silence: UFOs in Ireland.
But newlyweds Andrea and Lynden James have a far more prosaic explanation. “At our wedding reception in Dunboyne Castle hotel on August 3, we released about 25 Chinese lanterns to celebrate our vows,” Andrea said. “We’ve seen the images and there’s no doubt about it: they’re our lanterns.”
Andrea, a lawyer, said the lanterns, made from woven rice paper with a candle inside, are an ancient Chinese custom.
“You make a wish before sending them up and they bring good luck. We had about 60 but because it was so gusty, we only sent up about 25. They were moving quite quickly so they may have looked strange.”
These fucking lanterns are the new swamp gas.

FUCK these "Journalists"!! That article shows the now identified 2006 fake ufo footage. But the article states:
Nally said the footage of the “beam” would not be shown on YouTube or on TV. “We’re only showing it at conferences to audiences genuinely interested in finding out the truth.”
And TA HELL with this Nally and company shite about not showing the footage online or on TV. This married couple have seen PHOTOS and all we've seen online are these:
ARGH!
