Kanye West - A Right Wing Dream

Postby HMKGrey » Mon Sep 14, 2009 1:56 pm

Kanye West's MTV Video Music Awards outburst last night couldn't have come at a better time.

The crazy black guy running on stage and grabbing the mic away from the defenseless white girl - a country singer, no less, beloved of the southern state and town hall hordes....

I mean, in the week that a southern white guy yelled "You Lie!" at our black President as he addressed the nation...

You couldn't make this shit up.

Is there a video of the incident anywhere on teh intertubes? Viacom seems to be cleansing all sources.

Also--Serena Williams' outburst.

I don't know the rightness or wrongness of the situation, but kinda comes across poorly.

The best thing to do with Kanye West is to ignore him. Lalalala, I can't hear you. Let him know through your indifference that his fifteen minutes are up.

The racist chatter on Twitter was, like always, disturbing as fuck.

He is on Leno's first new show tonight, should be interesting. CNN showed pictures of him swigging a bottle of Jack Daniels before he took the stage, suggesting it was intoxication that led to his behavior.

Whatever, it was awesome. The only way it could have been better was if he had the bottle in his hand and was blowing fireballs on the stage. But then again, Muslim Satan-worshippers like me hate freedom.

I honestly couldn't give two shits about Kanye West or the MTV awards or whatshername (the white girl).

I seems to me that West was just trying to insure himself some sweet, sweet Beyonce poontang after the show.

I think it was staged. The whole thing seems too good to be true, and too many people benefit. Everyone has sympathy for Swift, everyone loves Beyoncé (more), everyone thinks Kayne is (more of) a dick, all 3 will see album sales increase this week, and everyone is talking about MTV for the first time in a long time. Sure, it wasn't as obviously planned and Madonna kissing Britney Spears, but with a little bit of acting and canny planning, this is a publicity masterpiece. http://gawker.com/5359109/was-the-kanye ... ent-staged
