 They are already here. The drones were spotted in Mendocino County this late summer and fall.

What about the remote control helicopters? They are already part of normal operating procedure in Denver as of last year. One December night when I went to a nearby park to smoke a J, I found myself staring down 3 of these mini-ghetto birds - because I wasn't wearing my glasses, I assumed them to be floating alien cuttlefish. This misapprehension was rectified when, the next day with friends, we spotted these 3-4 ft long mini-cruiser helicopters patrolling the alleys in the Capital Hill area.

By now I thought everybody would know and welcome our new arial guardians. Though it all does seem too eerily reminiscent of that film "Sleep Dealer."

Aerial surveillance drones have also been used in Liverpool in the UK for a while now as part of a trial.

Everyone agrees how useful they are in controlling "anti-social behaviour," a companion bugbear to "terrorism."

You know, someone might be doing something you dont want them to do. You really have to spy on all of the people all of the time. It's only sensible.

This is the first that I have heard of drones in Denver. Are you sure that a couple of kids weren't just messing wth the stoner? :lovehearts:

Is there a way to combine the two threads?
