John Edwards Made Sex Tape, Abortion Plea, Aide Says

Former John Edwards aide Andrew Young, who covered up the Democratic presidential candidate's affair, said when he cleaned up his house after his role in the cover up ended he found one more shocker.

"There was one tape that was marked 'special,'" Young told ABC News' Bob Woodruff in an exclusive interview. "It's a sex tape of Rielle and John Edwards made just a couple of months before the Iowa caucuses."

Though Young never saw the woman's face in the tape, he said she was "visibly pregnant" and was "wearing a bracelet" and a "thumb ring" typically worn by Rielle Hunter.

"It's her jewelry," Andrew Young's wife Cheri told ABC News, "It could be on another woman with the same jewelry."

Young gives his account of the sex scandal and the elaborate cover up for the Democratic presidential candidate in a new tell-all book entitled, "The Politician," which will be released Jan. 30.

He details how he and wife Cheri briefly returned to Raleigh, N.C. in July 2008 to clear out the house, where Hunter had briefly lived prior to their December 2007 escape from the media. Young claims they found a box Hunter had left behind, which included some videotapes, in a pile of trash.

"It [the tape] was cut and pulled ...out," Cheri Young told ABC News, "We... taped it back together and we played it."

Young, who had worked for Edwards since his 1998 senate win, said he was absolutely sure it was his boss in the tape.

"It's definitely him. You never see her face. But you see -- you clearly see his face for a long time. And I can't speak for the other body parts, but it's definitely his face," Young told ABC News.

For a guy as media savey as Edwards, the first lesson is never, never, never film yourself naked. Naked and fooling around with your mistress goes beyond stupid. It tells the world that he is a man you wanted to get caught. Who wanted the world and his wife to see what he was doing. Maybe he can share a room with Tiger down in that sex rehab joint in MS.

I wonder if he really made the film. He's a psychopathic A.H. but he's not stupid.

The thing I don't 'get' is why he was taken down. He obviously was a 'chosen' boy a la his recieving a blessing at the Bliderberg meeting prior to the primaries. So the question is what happened? Was this simply a case of an internicene battle between the 'annointed' with a survival of the fitest spin? Or did it just make for good copy for the tabloids?

Anyone who screws around on his dying wife, fathers a child, lies about all of it and then gets caught on video, doesn't need any help from the PTB.

I saw him as more of a threes company era jack ritter. Hanging out down at the regal beagle with larry (or whatever that char's name was).

anyway, my guess would be this blew up when it did be cause it was determined by and/or apparent to The Controllers that edwards was not getting the nomination, so this point-of-control was no longer needed, so it was allowed to fall apart. Maybe they felt he might get some appointment and wanted to ensure that didn't happen, who knows, just maybe edwards really might have tried to help people in some way, just cause he's horny and dumb about it doesn't mean he wouldn't have tried to help the middle-and-lower-classes.

Yes, she knew and she received money for her video 'services' from the campaign. So there is a question whether or not campaign laws were violated.

However, the difference between the two is that Edwards was the one who made himself a public figure, by running for President. He already had a successful career as a lawyer. In this day and age, he knew his actions were political suicide. There's no excuse. But on top of that, when he got caught he lied to the public every time there was a new revelation. He would have been a lot better off if he had been more honest from the start. How would you like to be this baby and grow up to find out your Dad publicly denied you?

he was taken down because he had strong potential to ignite a true populist movement which would have interfered with the coronation of our dear leader.

btw, anyone heard the story about roosevelt and kennedy out of the blue calling father coughlin to invite him over for a visit. iirc, when the good father stepped off the train he was approached for comment on the shooting of huey long.
i'll find the book i read that in this weekend. when i read it i immediately had the feeling that roosevelt and kennedy were behind the shooting.

The guy thought with his dick and said dick produced a baby that he couldn't cover up. He was such a sleazebucket even his sleazebucket employee couldn't deal with it (and didn't want to be saddled with a fake paternity).

I'd guess that's pretty close to the mark. I haven't looked into it much, as I was no fan of Edwards, but he had a big following of well-off supporters, the type who can get a Dem elected if he plays them right, so why WOULDN'T the spooks send a fetching videographer his way to get some paydirt in case he pulled it off? She wouldn't need to be agent. That's how they work. If they can't blackmail a pol through his pants they get him publicly loaded and splash it all over CNN for a week, or kill off members of his family, or go the suicide /ski / car/ plane accident route. It happens just about every other week.
