NST, RA(T), & MC Survivor Advocacy & News

I often have just links or small news items that don't warrant a whole new post in GD, so I thought I would start this catch-all thread for periodic updates.
Some of you may be aware of the work of two Canadian activists, Linda MacDonald and Jeanne Sarson. Linda and Jeanne have worked over a decade or more attempting to gain recognition and affect change for survivors of what they now term Non-State Torture (NST). NST is, more specifically, torture in the private sphere. NST also encompasses Ritual Abuse, or as they call it, Ritual Abuse-Torture (RAT).
Linda and Jeanne work to impact the law in Canada and internationally through the UN, mainly by presenting about NST to the Commission on the Status of Women each year. Over the years, they have submitted to the UN numerous forms of testimony from countless survivors, including myself, through my artwork and writing.
Did you know that in the US only 3 states have laws on the books addressing torture in the private sphere? There is tremendous opportunity for activism on this front, if only some group in the US would express the slightest bit of interest.
Anyway... Linda and Jeanne have just launched a new website on a new url, and I thought I would help spread the news in this venue. It is here:

edited for typos and other debacles.
