Just people wondering or a transparent attempt at "proximity contamination"?

I posted about this in the Oslo thread but I want to see if this post will bring RI to the top of the search returns:

The quotes below are all taken from google search "Assange Breivik" returns and below that are screen captures of the first two pages:

Yes, "spooky" indeed.

That's a $5000 media buy and an easy slander, nothing special. Easy pickings, low hanging fruit.


Edit: By which I mean over 90% of those results could easily come from a single source spending less than $5k to flood the channels with that meme, at which point, thanks to primate mimesis, it will gain traction on it's own. "Easy slander" = this was a simple opportunity to get in another hit on the target and muddy the waters further. Also a valuable deflection for the actual network behind Breivik, who are coincidentally the exact same people who are trying to take Assange out to begin with.

...we can only keep track of so many actors, and it's a tempting neuro-shortcut to assume that two similar-looking actors might be the same person. Kind of like that "What's Their Connection to the CIA?" monomania Hugh exhibits: it collapses and elegantly simplifies the moire patterns and floating debris into nice clean line drawings.

Thus does "What if Barbara Bush is Crowley's Love Child?" evolve into "What if Barbara Bush is Aleister Crowley?"

I saw a photo of the Breivik chap in the paper on Sunday.

I said to my wife, "He looks like Julian Sands. And Julian Assange. Hey, isn't it strange how alike the names Julian Sands and Julian Assange sound, especially considering they look very alike. It's the blond haired blue eyed aryan thing they got going on."

Wife of course returns a withering stare as if she has neither the faintest clue what I am wittering on about, nor any desire to find out.

I of course, ignore the stare, to which I am now wholly accustomed.

But I didn't post on the internet about it until now. I wouldn't want to slur Julian Sands in that manner.

Ho ho a quick google later on "julian sands julian assange" shows I am not the only one to have noticed that resemblance.

Been watching my friends gently plump up like Ballpark Franks over the last several years, myself included. I thought it was just the early stages of not being a shithead twentysomething anymore. Breivik included. Except the not being a shithead anymore part. Obviously.

I really do not see much of a look-alike thing going on between Breivik and Assange.
Jones and Breivik, yes. and if Sands or Assange and Jones were able to mate and reproduce, I'd think the love child might really resemble Breivik..

I think that it's some sort of 'they all look the same to me' syndrome. I have it with old, white, male bankers.. also to some extent with Southern male republicans. I can barely tell any of them apart.

Which is why I am wondering why stickdog99 is not allowed to attempt to flesh it out without getting harassed for his efforts. This forum is half speculative intuition yes? Sorry if the "usual suspects" are probably responsible for this atrocity, but they probably are...again. Lone Wolf? I highly doubt it. Like the wombat said, its probably the same network behind this.

The completely random association with Breivik is a transparent and disgusting way to smear Assange. It reminds me of the work of Nico Haupt. And if it's running now, the hits might as well come here and direct people to our own work, which tends to be for Wikileaks. If that's the point of this thread, I just wish it didn't devolve so quickly into cospiratainment. The sickfuck who did the Ian McKellen = Ron Paul smearage in lurid blood-red and made sure to add in some "1 percent" talk (as an application of keyword hijacking theory?) needs some battering. Think of it as an alienation tactic to repulse people from the research community and render the use of reason meaningless.

Those aren't brown contacts. Blue eyes can turn brown in the presence of a high toxic body load or with the use of steroid-based eye medication.
