Glenn Beck solicits donations for MEMRI

Postby Elvis » Sun Oct 09, 2011 2:04 am

I looked for an existing thread to post this but didn't see a good fit, so I'll just post it for what it's worth.

I was twisting the radio dial and heard Glenn Beck yapping. I left it on to see what that jackass was up to lately. I started to drift off to sleep when I thought I heard Beck asking his audience to support MEMRI with donations. I snapped awake and thought, that can't be right--but nope, he spelled it out: "M-E-M-R-I."

It shouldn't be such a surprise, I suppose, but it kinda blew my mind.

For readers unfamiliar with MEMRI, the classic Guardian piece about it is here:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2002/aug/12/worlddispatch.brianwhitaker

I got up and Googled MEMRI & Glenn Beck to see what the connection might be. Beck is apparently a big MEMRI supporter and has had Yigal Carmon, a founder of MEMRI, on his show at least once, in 2007. Brian Whitaker, the Guardian writer who wrote the above-linked piece, wrote about it here:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2007/may/15/arabicunderfire

The thought of millions of Glenn Beck listeners sending money to MEMRI is frightening. Where do I send money to counter that?

Is just to love
And be loved
In return"

Zionism blew my mind a long time ago. Why be surprised that an ideology based on the premise that armed robbery (by certain persons only) is a holy act, would always manifest its modus operandi in everything its proponents do? It's the nature of the beast, mon cher. Even when they work against you, they use your own resources to do it, whether they steal those resources or use demagogues to get your fellow citizens to volunteer them. Your government, your money, your troops, your technology, your reputation, your media, etc. Zionists rarely pay their way -- if they can get away with it, they'll even work it so that they make a nice profit at the same time as they get others to do their dirty work.

It's futile to rail at them, they don't care. The more important question is, who's not doing his or her job on your side?

Thanks, Alice. Yeah...I wonder if Beck gets a kickback or something? Probably not, he's a 'believer'. I watched a couple of his 'predictive history lectures' on TV and it always comes down to "watch out for those dastardly Muslims....they're out to get us!"

Oh, please. He's a whore -- they're paid to pretend to "believe". That's what they do. The only believers in zionism are the suckers -- you know, the ones who pay (with their money, lives, etc.) and are all passionate and teary about those who are screwing them, not those who laugh all the way to the bank.

I dunno... Glenn Beck made just $32,000,000 last year...by the time he feeds his family, he's gonna have only about $31,950,000....
