Just heard a very interesting interview on Scott Horton's AntiWar-Radio show with Jesse Trentadue about the murder of Jesse's brother. I have followed this story but somehow had missed previous references to the FBI's PatCon Groups... archive of today's show should be posted tomorrow at http://www.AntiWar.com/radio/
What I just heard from Trentadue in today's interview was that the FBI were trying to "discredit right-wing militia" groups by provoking them to commit acts of violence and that this PatCon FBI campaign was massive with multiple PatCon groups connected to Ruby Ridge, OKC, etc.

David Paul Hammer is a prisoner on death row at Terre Haute prison, Indiana. During the time when Timothy McVeigh occupied a cell adjacent to his, Hammer claims McVeigh relayed numerous details about the Oklahoma City bombing.
Hammer is the author of the 2004 book Secrets Worth Dying For: Timothy James McVeigh and the Oklahoma City Bombing and the new book Deadly Secrets: Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma City Bombing.
