If at least he was a Jesus Freak in the classic Hippie sense of the term, it would already be a lot less irritating. Instead, he seems more like a garden variety post y2k fundie type.

I was so sure this thread was gonna be about Rick Santorum.

The Jesus-freak-led Denver Broncos defeated the alleged-rapist-led Pittsburgh Steelers in an American football match yesterday, 29-23.

You have a pretty good point there. On the other hand, the very likely rapist denies the charges and is not performing the equivalent of PSAs for rape after each touchdown.
Anyway, just having fun. Already have my silly headline options for next week (obvious, really).

Dude is a baller!
Okay, I completely understand why people 'hate' on TT. The media is sickening. As a graduate of Florida, the guy was great for our team. He is genuine though, btw. He is honestly a 'good kid' and does lots of charity work. Yes, he is a Jesus freak. Yes he is simple minded. Yes he is childish as in not worldly. But he is honest. He is a good guy. He will never fuck anyone over intentionally or be an asshole.
Now all the hype is beyond his control, and the media always does the build up to tear down cycle. Don't hate him for that, hate the game.
Now next week, Brady will take him out, so pencil in grave dancing for then. Hernandez is one of three Gators on that team, and I think he will have a big game again. Tebow gives his all on the field of play. He will die out there if it means a 'win'. Fucking baller!
Go Gators!
Tonight its LSU vs. Alabama SEC! SEC! SEC!

Santorum: States Should Have The Right To Outlaw Birth Control
Rick Santorum reiterated his belief that states should have the right to outlaw contraception during an interview with ABC News yesterday, saying, “The state has a right to do that, I have never questioned that the state has a right to do that. It is not a constitutional right, the state has the right to pass whatever statues they have.”
Santorum has long opposed the Supreme Court’s 1965 ruling “that invalidated a Connecticut law banning contraception” and has also pledged to completely defund federal funding for contraception if elected president. As he told CaffeinatedThoughts.com editor Shane Vander Hart in October, “One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country,” the former Pennsylvania senator explained. “It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be.”

I don't mind Tebow, he seems like a nice enough guy. I don't think God really cares about football at all though. I can't stand Rothlisberger and the spoiled players of his ilk, and I really hate having Michael Vick on my Eagles, I just love dogs too much. I still root for the Eagles, though, but when he scores, I say, 'Yaaaay! Dogkillers!' I can't wait til he's gone. My girlfriend is from New England, and therefore a Pats fan, so I generally root for them when they aren't playing the Eagles.
And Santorum: I had enough of his act when he was a Congresscritter and Senator. He won't last any longer than then the NC primary. It'll be Romney vs. Obama in the general election, and Romney won't win because he's too stiff, independants don't like him, and Republicans won't vote for a Mormon. Four more years.

You make it sound so ho-hum. I'm foreseeing a long, hot summer like we've never seen before. Anything could happen.
