We decided a while ago (after the advent of the 'Fuck Romney' thread) that there would be no more threads with the word 'fuck' in the title.

With that in mind, I've modified this thread title.

I guess for me growing up in a sort of protected bubble in the early to late 80's, that time period for me is seen through the prism of neon colors 8bit video games and synthy tunes.

Fuck you for destroying the economy of my hometown, fuck you for cutting the mental health programs and other safety nets, there are people who might be alive today if you weren't such a fucking prick/tool. Oh and Fuck you very much for the legacy of hate and clandestine war that inheiritors of your office have felt justified in maintaining in your ghoulish memory. Fuck you Mr Alzheimer's zombie who continued to spokesperson out of reflex long after what ever human spark had originally animated you was long dead and rotten.

I may never get to pee on his grave, but where I grew up, we used to flip off his birthplace when we happened to cruise by.

PS: In my memorabilia, there is a letter from Reagan's White House inviting my father for an awards ceremony and dinner. My father decided he had other things to do that day...

PPS: On edit, The RWR 666 thing makes a weird sort of sense. Yeah he's finally clinically dead now, but just as present in spirit as ever. (Like he was any more than ephemeral from the shooting on...) We're still fighting the 'Reagan Revolution' which pitted the middle-class against the poor. That the middle-class is shrinking, with it's former members enriching the poor has not diminished the zeal of those repeating the mantras: "As long as I can buy a pair of sunglasses in the dollar store when I need to I am not poor, I am not shamed, at least I can still keep a decent roof over the head..." Reagan's a work of necromancy. Could be why they need so much blood.
