Saw it elsewhere. Swimming pool? In b4 relative coming forward to tell us he can't swim. I don't know, it just raises the "WTF?" reaction in me.

Rodney King found dead in swimming pool
By Dylan Stableford, Yahoo! News | The Lookout – 2 hrs 5 mins ago

Rodney King, whose videotaped beating by police in 1991 sparked the L.A. riots, was found dead at his California home on Sunday. He was 47.

Police said King's fiancée discovered him at the bottom of the swimming pool at their Rialto, Calif., home, about 55 miles east of Los Angeles.

Police responded to a call at 5:25 a.m., pulled King out of the pool and attempted CPR, but could not revive him.

King's representative Suzanne Wickman confirmed to his death to KABC-TV. According to TMZ, King's fiancée, Cynthia Kelley, told friends King spent the bulk of Saturday drinking and "smoked marijuana at some point," before she went to went to bed at 2:00 a.m.

The cause of death is unknown, but police are investigating it as a drowning. Rialto Police Capt. Randy DeAnda told CNN there were no preliminary signs of foul play.

King was beaten by four white LAPD officers following a DUI stop on March 3, 1991. Footage captured by an amateur videographer showed the officers hitting King 56 times with wooden batons.

"I just got lucky that night to have the cameras on me," King said in April, marking the 20th anniversary of the L.A. riots. "When I saw the tape, I was so happy that it was on tape and then looking at it, it was like I was in another body. I felt like I had died in that one, and was just watching it."

The four officers--Theodore Briseno, Laurence Powell, Timothy Wind and Sgt. Stacey Koon--were acquitted of criminal charges, sparking the riots that left 55 people dead. (Koon and Powell were later found guilty of federal civil rights charges and sentenced to 30 months in prison.)

"It felt like Armageddon," King said of the acquittal. "It felt like the end of the world. I was hurt. I was past upset.

"I was raised not to be violent, and not to be rioting and carrying on like a wild man," he added, "but at the same time, there was a side of me saying, 'What else can you do?' I didn't agree with it, but I understood."

During the five-day riots--marked by widespread looting, arson and racially-charged beatings throughout South Central L.A.--King made his famous public plea for peace: "People, I just want to say, can we all get along? Can we get along?"

Well, it is interesting to me that the number of days between Rodney King's beating in 1991 and today is 7777.

Not that that's significant, necessarily. Just... "interesting."

It's very significant to the cult that guy is a part of.

Murdered?

TMZ: Rodney King's fiancée is telling friends Rodney had been drinking all day Saturday ... and had smoked weed in the hours leading up to his death ... sources close to King tell TMZ.

According to our sources, King's fiancée, Cynthia Kelley, is telling friends King was at the house all day drinking, and he smoked marijuana at some point, before she went to bed at 2:00 AM.

We're told Kelley says she next saw King at around 5:00 AM when she was awoken by him screaming in the backyard. Our sources say Kelley found King naked, banging on the glass, and she called out to him, "What's wrong, Rodney?"

Kelley is telling friends she then went to grab her phone when she heard a big splash. She then went to the backyard and discovered him in the bottom of the pool and called police.

Paramedics attempted to revive King, but were unsuccessful.

I did a quick board search on "7777," and found a thread in which Semper Occultus had posted. Upon reading his post, apparently Philip Gardiner has explained that "7777" means "it is done."

(Which seems eerily revealing, now that Rodney King most certainly is "done." :scared: )

Still, my knowledge of numerology is functionally equivalent to zero, so I'll have to leave it to others to make any real sense of this. But I will admit that after I got it into my head to do a quick check this morning to see just how many days had elapsed, the result did surprise me somewhat.

And yes, that does sound suspicious. Quite so, in fact.

Cryptic. Wow.

The first time I realized there was an intentional or cosmic synchronicity to events was when I thought about Flight 77 hitting a 77 foot building, the 7/7 attacks and then in 2008 the -777 "financial 9/11" stock market drop. It was 77 days between Obama's win and his inauguration. Anders Breivik, the self proclaimed Masonic Templar White Nationalist, killed 77 people.
Crowley described 77 as "Oz", but many people think 777 is lucky or "Godly perfection"(the South African neo Nazis AWB use the 777 as a neo swastika) The plane that dropped the atom bomb on
Japan was "77". Maybe 77 and further duplicates just means death?

Look for Westboro to plant seeds of race war in 3,2,1. You know those ass clowns are gonna be there soon.

7777 is very interesting as well.

A law enforcement official confirms members of the Westboro Baptist Church, known for its controversial practice of picketing military funerals, participated in training for law enforcement officials at Quantico Marine Base in Virginia.

The sessions were discontinued this spring after Tom Browne, assistant director for the FBI, voiced strong opposition to bringing the group to a military facility.

Members of Westboro were "respectful" when they were on the base and did not cause any disruption, according to the official. He adds, "It wasn't the purpose to give them another outlet to vent their views. It was more academic."

Surprised you havent had any crazed right wing/religious nut violence this year in America, least that has made headline news. But the heatwave period has just begun.
I'm glad there really wasnt a wave of "cannibal zombie attacks", let alone 'shark attacks'.

Wasn't even looking for it. This comment or something akin to it, I have already seen in numerous places -- this one from the Stranger's slog. Literally, almost to the exact word everywhere, but different cities sometimes:

Want to see a photo of police brutality? Look up the photo of Issac Bitton and his son being attacked by a black lynch mob in Crown Heights while the police stand by and do nothing. One one paper (NY Daily News) ever published it.

Tis going around.

I would politely ask, who was paying attention to the goings on of Rodney King or the twenty year old riots of LA anyway, lately?

Election year. "Black" "democratic" prez. Double bind be in full effect.
