Romney caught cheating in last night's debate - video:

Apart from what it says about his party, this seems consistent with Romney's general view of truth and law (tax law for example) as a system of platitudes for suckers only, to be disregarded as convenient, which, come to think of it, is consistent with his party. He could also be seen on C-SPAN furtively retrieving something from his podium after everyone had shaken hands and left the stage, which I thought strange (I thought it was Obama, and wondered what the heck he could have possibly left in podium that he couldn't ask someone to get for him).
As to romney's debate performance, which is getting predictable raves from the media, he basically acted like an over-aged, over-caffeineted yuppie trying to muscle his kid's teacher to change a bad grade. Lehrer played the feeble schoolmarm, Obama was the tactful principal, and nobody but a winger would think Mittens won by any stretch of the imagination.
