oh and:

The Knights of Malta is a Catholic order, but what is interesting is that if you check under the wikipedia entry on Knights Templar (Freemason degree) it says that "The United Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple and of St John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta is an international philanthropic Masonic order affiliated with Freemasonry."

So if the Knights of Malta is affiliated with Freemasonry, what separates them? What is Bishop Robert W. Finn, who wrote the above article, talking about? My guess is that Bishop Finn don't know that many "top members" of Knights of Malta, Freemasonry and other Catholic Orders can be, and are, members of several organizations that on paper are "incompatible" or "against" one another.

To me there is no real clear distinction between "the medieval Knights Templar" and "the Knights Templar" (The full title is: The United Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple and of St John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta.) ...and with these many different names the lines become fuzzier to say the least.

.....I think Ahab was referring to the Orange Lodge in particular who are somewhat lacking in the ecumenical spirit.....but anyway this character seemed to like him :

but this catholic / masonic mash-up tends to draw us into the inpenetrable snake-pit / worm-hole of Vatican / P2 shenanigans & ...funnily enough....free-associating on paedophiles, IRA links, the political elite & Vatican / P2 gets us into this piece of bat-shit insanity intriguing hearsay evidence :

Carlo Calvi has omitted to mention that his father had other children living in the UK at the time who were part of a paedophile sex ring that had infiltrated the IRA and blackmailed Thatcher into giving them immunity from proseuction. Calvi's renegade son Henry Singer had been thrown out of the UK army for sex offences, drug dealing, extortion and money laundering. Henry Singer's own illegitimate son, known as David Logan, was one of six arrested by Ghanaian police on January 7 for a £80 million coke bust

www.democraticunderground.com

Henry Singer had served jail time in a special unit for sex offenders and later became involved with UK based IRA terrorists responsible for the Regent's Park bombing. He subsequently got off by doing a plea bargain to testify to Thatcher's involvement in attempting to stage a coup d'etat in the UK when Ronald Reagan was president.

In the summer of 2000, just after Shrub was chosen to be the BFEE official presidential candidate, Henry Singer was instrumental in Blair taking the UN Head of Military Intelligence as hostage.

Cardinal Marcincus was granted partial immunity from prosecution by President George H Bush in a deal struck while he was Veep to RR because George Bush Junior had been busted in a paedophile brothel in London in the summer of 1982 and Marcinkus threatened to expose him. The brothel was managed by one 'Didier Garnier' who subsequently spent a fortune trying to erase all traces of the criminal conviction that resulted from being charged with vice offences. He is now the owner of Le Colombier restaurant in Chelsea's Doverhouse Street, South West London.

Interesting, Ahab's other leg, "The Met have decided to call the investigation into all of this Operation Yewtree."

A poisonous, seemingly immortal magical tree whose roots run deep and extract the life force hidden below.

This choice of name for the investigation to me may mean two very different things, one being the perpetual nature of pedophilia cannot be denied or abated and the other would be that evil (pedophilia) will be revealed and protected against.
Contrary meanings. The Yew's nature.

Yew is often named among the most ancient trees in the world and, according to some sources, may as well be the oldest-living one. Understanding the Yew principle is crucial for understanding the Universe itself, for this wood holds a key to the mystery of Creation; thus, the importance of Yew cannot be underestimated. Not without reason Yew, not Ash, is sometimes thought to be the original 'World-tree' of Scandinavian mythology (though considering them 'the same tree' seems more appropriate).

Despite the implied greatness, Yew symbolism is rather dark. This tree is known as the death tree almost in all European countries, and its connection with destructive workings is obvious. By the way, this danger is not purely 'symbolical'; Yew is indeed very poisonous. It contains the dangerous alkaloid which can invoke hallucinations and even cause death. However, the 'death', personified by Yew, must be seen not as 'elimination', but rather as 'transformation', as gaining the new quality, or as a passage to another world. Due to that fact, Yew has a strong association with Life as well as with Death. The symbolical vitality of this tree is emphasized by some of its physical characteristics: the Yew tree's branches grow into the ground; and when the central trunk dies, the tree lives on. This fact, probably, has lead to another aspect in the Yew archetype; namely, to its 'preceding symbolism', which means connection with past and especially with ancestry (most likely, with 'ancestry through the blood', as the Yew tree personifies the material aspect of Being).

Using Yew in magical and spiritual rituals is questionable. It is very powerful tree with deep, complicated symbolism; and as such has a vide range of possible uses, especially in all workings dealing with the essential transformation. In addition to that, it can induce visions, protect from aggression, enhance magical and psychic abilities, etc. However, in most cases Yew is not recommended for magical tools. The main cause for this restriction lays not in the connection with dark works, as one can easily (and mistakenly) assume. The point is that the Yew energies are not fully manageable. They are shapeless, non-consistent, and almost 'chaotic'. The majority of people even aren't able to understand their true nature. As a result, the effect of using them can be unpredictable and often disastrous.

Anyway, it is important to remember: Yew, as the tree of Creation, symbolizes not Death, but Love (no matter how strange and illogical it may seem).

Celtic Meaning of the Yew Tree

Celtic Ogham symbolism of the yew tree speaks of eons captured within its silent woody rings. Within the folds of the yew bark lurks ages of history encapsulated in its stoic stance.

The ancient Celts were a curious people, particularly their Druids who took it upon themselves to absorb the wisdom of the gods as found through its physical form (nature). This natural wonder and curiosity was at once spurred and slaked when in contact with the yew.

Firstly, the yew is a loner. It's isolated occurrences would have peaked the Celts interest because solo elements in nature are unique and thus granted special study.

Secondly, the evocative and dark twists of the yew gives it an otherworldly presence. As if its solitary status weren't enough fuel for it's symbolism of wisdom, knowledge, and magic - it's gnarly contortions surely seal the yew's reputation as an otherworldly oracle.

Thirdly, the symbolism of the yew deals with longevity. A single yew has untold lifetimes under its belt. New yews are born from existing systems. The oldest yew is known to be at least 3,000 years of age.

Shields and weaponry made from the yew were highly admired by the Celts and were considered extremely auspicious on the battlefield. It was thought that the longevity of the yew was transferred to the Celtic warrior. Using the element of yew in battle would assure victory and long life to the warrior.

Staves, rods, and other tools used for divination or spiritual rites were made of yew to augment the energetic atmosphere of the ceremony or procedure. It was thought the otherworld would whisper through yew staves during rituals and initiations.

Lastly, it's interesting to note the paradox of longevity juxtaposed to the yew's poisonous nature to humans. The Celts no doubt knew its lethal ways and counted this among its many attributes.

This aspect of death (mortality) played against its symbolic longevity (immortality) would add tremendous strength to the symbolism of the yew, ranking it highly sacred among the spiritual clans as well as the Ogham.

I was born on Halloween. It's a pretty cool birthday, especially for children. I don't attribute my wizardry to being born on this special day. Maybe a little bit I do. I weighed 7lbs 11oz. Crapped out right there! Actually, I was told by my mother that at the hospital she traded in her gollywhopus for me. So, until I was around 6 I thought I had been procured by a trade-in of a creature of my mother's rather bizarre mind and sense of humor.

I'm not sure I will continue posting in this thread. It's extremely disturbing. In fact, perhaps the worst thing, the most horrible thing I've ever read anywhere was this:

"It has been reported that Savile was responsible for the sexual assault of a brain damaged child at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. It has been stated “it can get no lower than this.” I beg to differ. My understanding is that the archive at New Scotland Yard hold an image of the youngest child recorded as being sexually abused, the child was female and was still attached to its mother by the umbilical cord."

Considering more than a few of our posters are victims of criminal sexual abuse, such extremely depraved acts committed by celebrated personalities upon innocent child victims leaves me speechless and unable to to say anything more than "I'm sorry, so sorry you experienced such horrors."

...to be fair to the old monster I don't think it was implying that Savile himself was anything to do with that piece of depravity...

( on edit ) although on second thoughts - screw the bastard

Jimmy Savile claimed paedophile Gary Glitter 'did nothing wrong'

Sir Jimmy Savile once defended Gary Glitter saying he did "nothing wrong" when he downloaded thousands of child pornography images, it has been claimed.

*******

They went into the hard drive, saw all these dodgy pictures and told the police and the police then 'Oh we've got a famous person ... Oh my goodness, yeah we'll have them'.

"But Gary has not sold 'em, has not tried to sell 'em, not tried to show them in public or anything like that. It were for his own gratification.

"Whether it was right or wrong is, of course, it's up to him as a person. But they didn't do anything wrong but they are then demonised."

"If you said to that copper, what's Gary Glitter done wrong? Well nothing really. He's just sat at home watching dodgy films."

‘Jimmy Savile was a necrophiliac’

23 October 2012

Astonishing allegations were made today about Jimmy Savile being a necrophiliac.

The claim was made on Radio 5 Live by Savile’s former colleague Paul Gambaccini, who started working as a DJ on Radio 1 in 1973.

Gambaccini said he was aware of the necrophilia claims in the Eighties.

His comments stunned presenter Nicky Campbell who tried to stop the conversation by saying the allegations were not in the public domain.

Gambaccini continued, saying the BBC was not the only organisation at fault for failing to expose Savile.

He said the press was equally to blame and claimed a reporter was heard talking at a wedding 10 years ago about Savile being a necrophiliac.

OT but strangely OnTopic -

wonder how long it will be before the 'plebs' start re-asking questions about the murder of Lady Diana Spencer, something 'we' all knew, yet 'accepted' as too horrible to admit to ourselves.
Now... THAT could really rock the UK, should the truth emerge. Props to antiaristo for all his work here on RI.

Yeah, it was the OO I meant. I know there are Catholic masons, and freemasonry is rife in the Vatican; the clergy seem to take their own proscriptions against it a lot less seriously than they expect the lay people to - which is par for the course with them. Still very interesting links vk. I think there are two Knight of Malta awards though, the freemasonic one and the one given out by the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Could be wrong, but I don't think the SMOM one requires the candidate to be a freemason first. Probably helps though.

So much to say on all this... Is everybody aware that Jimmy's brother Johhny Savile was also a molestor? He was sacked from a hospital after being accused of raping a psychiatric patient... in the 1970s.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... tient.html

Similar MO, similar choice of hunting ground, both seeking out vulnerable people in hospitals who either could not physically resist or would not be readily believed. What was it Sir Jimmy said: "I pefer hospitals to nightclubs... hospitals are my playground." Talk about hiding in plain sight. As I have heard said: he did such a good impression of a stereotypical paedophile and pervert that nobody really believed he was one.

Of course, many did believe, and more than a few knew for certain.

It seems we can now add scabbing, grassing, and strikebreaking to this remarkable man's many hidden talents. He was directly appointed to Broadmoor by Edwina Currie, under Ken Clarke.

A Sunday Telegraph investigation today reveals:

* Currie appointed Savile to run a taskforce in charge of Broadmoor in the 1980s, where he is accused of sexually assaulting patients;

* the taskforce he presided over was given temporary powers to oversee the running of the hospital following a series of industrial disputes - despite the fact Savile, a disc jockey and television presenter, had no professional qualifications;

* a friend of Savile’s from his hometown in Leeds was then given the most senior job at Broadmoor;

So, that's why he was put in charge of Broadmoor - because the management had been supporting the workers in their industrial action over pay and conditions. To break this dangerous solidarity between the bosses and the staff at the country's most secure mental hospital, the government decided to disband the sitting management of the time and put Jimmy fucking Savile in control.

The former minister told The Sunday Telegraph that having checked her personal diaries, she had found a note of a meeting with Savile in Leeds in September 1988 - the month the taskforce was appointed. In the entry she described his thoughts on Broadmoor as “intriguing”.

Mrs Currie recorded that during the meeting Savile had told her that he suspected staff were inflating their salaries - and that he had threatened to pass the information to the tabloid papers if the staff caused him any trouble.

Savile also told her he had uncovered millions of pounds missing from budgets and poor use of the hospital’s housing stock.

You know what constitutes poor use of the hospitals' housing stock, in my opinion? Giving an on-site flat to a predatory serial sex offender with no mental health qualifications.

Especially if it's done so that he can run the place to his own satisfaction, while grassing up the qualified staff to his Tory mates.

In my diary, I wrote 'Attaboy’, she said. “This was what he claimed to be doing; now it is hard to know whether any of it is true. And obviously when you look back, it does suggest he was prepared to use blackmail to ensure people did what he wanted.”

Didn't seem like a problem at the time though, I guess, with the looming threat of the red menace taking over the asylum. :mad2

Following Savile’s appointment at Broadmoor, Alan Franey, an administrator who spent 10 years working at Leeds General Infirmary, also began work on the same taskforce, with progress to be reported to Mrs Currie.

In a book about psychiatric care, Mr Franey described having “an unusual meeting” with health officials in the Athenaeum Club in London, where his new role on the temporary taskforce was proposed.

He neglected to mention in the book that Savile, who was a member of the Athenaeum, was also present. When asked by The Sunday Telegraph if Savile was also there, Mr Franey agreed.

In 1989, Mr Franey was put in overall charge of Broadmoor, where he remained for nine years before retiring as chief executive.

Mr Franey worked as an assistant general manager at Leeds General Infirmary from 1975 to 1985, when the television presenter was volunteering as a night porter. Savile is also accused of sexually abusing girls at the Leeds hospital.
...
Mr Franey took early retirement from Broadmoor following an inquiry into the hospital in March 1997. The inquiry followed claims made in newspapers that a child pornography ring was operating at Broadmoor.

Not to get too into this side of things (it probably isn't relevant to Savile - although it's increasingly amazing what is relevant to Savile) but Gerry Adams' dad was a paedophile and abuser as well.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho ... 47222.html

Apparently a few people in the IRA Army Council knew about this at the time, which means MI5/6/Special Branch/FRU/MRF/Army intelligence (or any combination of the above) probably would've known about it too. They had informers and agents in high places within the IRA. So why keep it secret all these years, when it could've been used to trash Adams and the Army Council publically? Maybe they just didn't want to expose their agents by revealing info that only could've come from very high up in the Republican structure... maybe? Or some other reason.

The use of sexual blackmail during the NI conflict is a very murky and bizarre subject, it seems to me it was used by the UK security forces against both sides (the Four Square Laundry and Gemini Health Studio massage parlour, and other operations like it, to entrap Nationalist leaders... Kincora Boys' Home, and no doubt others like it, to get control over Unionist and Loyalist high-ups, specifically in their case to prevent another Loyalist strike like the one where they shut down all the power stations). Then there are the rumours about Mountbatten...

Anyway, that's not about Jimmy Savile.

Here's an interesting point. At the time Savile first became employed by the BBC a very high number of their employees were vetted by MI5 before being allowed on screen. I doubt that would've applied to the presenter of Top of the Pops so much as newsreaders and "journalists", but it's still worth remembering, especially since Savile had already been questioned by the police by that time (twice, I think). And don't the recipients of knighthoods get vetted before the award as well? To make sure they won't embrass the palace?

The thing that strikes me most about the Yew tree is not so much it's symbolic pagan/Christian heritage and meanings, or it's frequent siting in graveyards, but the fact that it can grow whole new trunks from within the original bole. No other tree can do that. It's a bit like a hydra - cut off it's head, and two grow in it's place.

That too.

The Met seem to have been trolling everybody for a while with the names of their high-profile operations (Operation Mason to investigate David Kelly's death, then naming the phone-hacking investigations after notorious traffic-jam areas where nobody gets anywhere). Why though? It can't just be to wind-up the Icke forum.

BBC scandal raises questions for incoming NYT boss
RAPHAEL SATTER, Associated Press | Wednesday, October 24, 2012 | Updated: Wednesday, October 24, 2012 8:01am

FILE - In this April 12, 2007 file photo, British Broadcasting Corporation Director-General Mark Thompson pauses during a news conference calling for the release of kidnapped BBC journalist Alan Johnston, in the West Bank city of Ramallah. The child abuse scandal centered on the late BBC star Jimmy Savile has raised some uncomfortable for the corporation’s former boss, now only weeks away from taking his position as the chief executive of The New York Times. Photo: Muhammed Muheisen / AP

LONDON (AP) — The child abuse scandal that has enveloped one of Britain's most respected news organizations is now hitting one of America's, as the incoming president of The New York Times is on the defensive about his final days as head of the BBC.

Mark Thompson was in charge of the BBC in late 2011 when the broadcaster shelved what would have been a bombshell investigation alleging that the late Jimmy Savile, one of its biggest stars, was a serial sex offender.

The BBC scandal has horrified Britain with revelations that Savile, a popular children's television presenter, cajoled and coerced vulnerable teens into having sex with him in his car, in his camper van, and even in dingy dressing rooms on BBC premises.

Police say there could be more than 200 victims, leading one child protection charity to state that Savile could rank among Britain's most prolific child sex predators.

In a sign of how the scandal may spread, the BBC said Tuesday it was looking into claims of sexual abuse and harassment against nine other current and former employees and contributors.

As increasing numbers of BBC executives come under the microscope over what they knew about Savile — and why the posthumous expose about his sexual crimes was blocked — Thompson is being quizzed about his role as well.

In a letter to Conservative lawmaker Rob Wilson, Thompson laid out his defense, saying he never worked with Savile, never worked on any of the entertainer's programs and indeed never met the man. Referring to the increasing number of BBC employees who have come forward to say that Savile's interest in young girls was widely rumored, Thompson said he had never been aware of the whispers.

"If I had, I would have raised them with senior colleagues and contacted the police," said Thompson, 55.

The scandal took another twist when it emerged that an investigation into Savile by the BBC's "Newsnight" program was shelved last year only weeks before the BBC aired a glowing holiday tribute show to Savile.

Now journalists and lawmakers are asking whether BBC bosses canned the show to protect their star, a prodigious charity fundraiser who was widely eulogized following his death last year at age 84.

The corporation denies a cover-up, although "Newsnight" editor Peter Rippon recently stepped down as the BBC's internal investigation got under way. After weeks of standing by Rippon, the BBC has said his explanation about why the Savile show was not broadcast was incomplete and inaccurate.

With Thompson about to move from one of the most important jobs in the British media to one of most important jobs in American journalism, exactly what he knew — and when he knew it —could be critical to his future career.

In a statement last week, Thompson said he had "never heard any allegations or received any complaints" about Savile during his time as BBC director-general, from 2004 to 2012.

But an Oct. 7 story by London's Sunday Times appeared to contradict him, reporting that a BBC journalist had tipped Thompson off about the Savile investigation.

The Sunday Times is published by News International, an arm of Rupert Murdoch's global News Corp. empire, and has no corporate ties to The New York Times.

Thompson acknowledged being warned about what was happening at "Newsnight" by a BBC journalist during a company cocktail reception late last year, but he said the journalist never "set out what allegations 'Newsnight' were investigating or had been investigating."

Thompson said he followed the matter up with other executives who told him the 'Newsnight' investigation was canned on journalistic grounds.

"I had no reason to believe that anyone in the BBC was withholding controversial or incriminating material," he wrote in the letter to the lawmaker.

Wilson, the lawmaker, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he has written to Thompson again seeking more answers.

"There are questions about how much the journalist told him about the Newsnight investigation that need to be cleared up as quickly as possible," Wilson said, adding that Thompson said he is willing to answer questions before the parliamentary committee looking into the matter and the BBC's own inquiry.

He said Thompson's fitness to serve as The New York Times chief depends on the outcome of the various inquiries.

Thompson's role in the scandal has drawn the attention of The New York Times' public editor, Margaret Sullivan, who on Tuesday asked Times readers: "How likely is it that he knew nothing? A director general of a giant media company is something like a newspaper's publisher. Would a publisher be very likely to know if an investigation of one of its own people on sexual abuse charges had been killed?"

In a carefully worded paragraph that followed, she raised the issue of Thompson's fitness to serve as The New York Times chief.

"His integrity and decision-making are bound to affect The Times and its journalism — profoundly," she wrote. "It's worth considering now whether he is the right person for the job, given this turn of events."

Sullivan said while finding an answer was "not as easy as it sounds ... all these questions ought to be asked."
Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

Labour MP Tom Watson has said police must investigate claims of a "powerful paedophile ring" linked to a previous prime minister's "senior adviser" and Parliament.

He asked David Cameron to ensure that officers looked into the allegations.

Mr Cameron said he would look into the issue, although he said he was not clear which former prime minister's adviser was being referred to.

The exchanges came during Prime Minister's Questions in the Commons.

Mr Watson said an evidence file collected by the police to convict paedophile Peter Righton in 1992 "contains clear intelligence of a widespread paedophile ring".

"One of its members boasts of his links to a senior aide of a former prime minister, who says he could smuggle indecent images of children from abroad," he said.

"The leads were not followed up, but if the files still exist, I want to ensure that the Metropolitan Police secure the evidence, re-examine it and investigate clear intelligence suggesting a powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No 10."

David Cameron said it was a "very difficult and complex case" and he was "not entirely sure" which former prime minister Mr Watson was referring to.

But he agreed to look at the case "very carefully and see what the government can do" to give Mr Watson the assurances he wanted.

Tom Watson failed to mention that the big ‘bombshell’ he let off in PMQs was actually mentioned by the Sunday Times this weekend. The paper reported that Edwina Currie’s autobiography carried claims that Sir Peter Morrison, a Tory MP and aide to Margaret Thatcher, had sex with underage boys during the 1980s. Morrison’s lovers were sixteen, with the age of consent for homosexuals at the time standing at twenty-one.

Funny that Watson didn’t say “as printed in the Murdoch press this weekend and exposed by a former Tory MP”.

One to watch though, rumours are swirling around about all sorts of politicians…

UPDATE: Nick Davies first made the shocking allegations about Morrison in 1998

Fleet Street routinely nurtures a crop of untold stories about powerful abusers who have evaded justice. One such is Peter Morrison, formerly the MP for Chester and the deputy chairman of the Conservative Party. Ten years ago, Chris House, the veteran crime reporter for the Sunday Mirror, twice received tip-offs from police officers who said that Morrison had been caught cottaging in public toilets with underaged boys and had been released with a caution. A less powerful man, the officers complained, would have been charged with gross indecency or an offence against children.

At the time, Chris House confronted Morrison, who used libel laws to block publication of the story. Now, Morrison is dead and cannot sue. Police last week confirmed that he had been picked up twice and never brought to trial. They added that there appeared to be no trace of either incident in any of the official records.
