Cult Movie Prophecy of Doom Comes True

Postby Jerky » Sat Dec 01, 2012 7:11 pm

Jeff recently posted something on Facebook about Wild in the Streets, and that piqued my interest in this cult gem of a film. I downloaded and watched it a couple of times, eventually coming across a haunting synchronicity that I felt compelled to share with others who are interested in para-cultural things of this nature. You can find my article at my Useless Eater Blog.

Thanks! I remember hearing about Privilege. I will have to seek it out - I imagine Watkins' take on the subject will be far more illuminating than AIP's!

im starting to think that the 2012 "end of world" thing, is the expiration of "the big scam" project, probably 50 years ended, or so from inception thereof. And most likely a new and improved scam is underway.

That doesn't really play into the article I wrote - my article was more about a small-scale prophecy of doom. That poor actor, Kevin Coughlin, who played a character who predicted that he would die at 30, who then went on to die violently under somewhat mysterious circumstances at the age of 30.
