Red Ice Radio

Postby RocketMan » Sat Apr 26, 2014 5:43 pm

I listen to the free version of Red Ice Radio now and again and I've seen some love for it here on the board. But there are some pretty weird and unappetizing things going on there, I tell you. I've followed their "multiculturalism critique" shit for a while now, but things have recently gotten seemingly worse. Let me demonstrate what I'm talking about by listing some of their recent broadcasts:

Robert Morningstar - Hour 1 - Dyatlov Pass UFO incident, The Rise of International Communism & Islam

Ricardo Duchesne - Hour 1 - The Uniqueness of Western Civilization & Multicultural Madness

And this I'm going to have to quote at some length:

Mark Weber - Hour 1 - Extremist Watch Groups, Culture Clash & Germanophobia

[...]Weber talks about Germany's current climate and we look back to WWII. Was there a conspiracy to crush Germany? Mark talks about Winston Churchhill's involvement, the European balance of power at that time and those who wanted to destroy the strength of the German people. We also hear about the horrific bombing in Dresden that massacred thousands of innocent Germans and how it was justified. Innocent German women were also raped and beaten by Western and Soviet soldiers. Weber explains the propaganda version of "the good war." We end the hour on America's military industrial war complex and its worldwide reach into foreign policy. Mark talks about America's abstract ideas that have no interest for Americans and how the US is now exporting ideologies, such as gay rights, with no respect for other cultures or policies.

Kevin MacDonald - The Dispossession of Europeans & Pathological Altruism

And on it goes...

I mean, pretty damned sketchy stuff, amirite?
-I don't like hoodlums.
-That's just a word, Marlowe. We have that kind of world. Two wars gave it to us and we are going to keep it.

Inevitable function drift; nobody who has spent time observing True Believers can deny it, they are vigorous content producers.

Once you get exhausted, those LaRouche types are always hanging out, offering to put in some volunteer hours, right?

Your standoff with the Feds goes national, you have supporters show up from around the country, several of them arrest you a week later.

Anyways.

Via: http://www.redicecreations.com/about.php

Red Ice Creations is an independent radio program and news website headquartered out of the west coast of Sweden, Scandinavia. Red Ice Radio is hosted by filmmaker and researcher Henrik Palmgren.

...

Henrik was born in Götaland (Geatland), the land of the Goths, today known as Sweden in Scandinavia. He has always had a deep desire to know and to understand what really is happening on this planet. He continues to seek answers to the more profound questions, he’s not afraid to tackle controversy and go into the darker areas in order to expose the roots of our hidden history and the many problems and corruption we face. The truth might not be comfortable and the authentic answers can something be difficult to face. Who are we? Where do we come from and where are we really going? It is his own search into these topics that sparked the creation of Red Ice.

...

Red Ice Creations is a Coincidentia oppositorum, a unity of opposites. Our attempt is to awaken the sleeper to a greater reality and to broaden the perspective of the curious minded. Red Ice is for those who want to explore the mindscape and listen to aspects that will push the boundaries of their own perception and thoughts.

...

If you find yourself disagreeing with some of our guests, great! To agree is not the point. We say: take and incorporate what you can, examine the rest.
If you find yourself disagreeing, question then instead why you consider that you have the "superior perspective." Why do you disagree? Why are you right and the other person wrong? Examine your own knowledge and beliefs. Question them. We can learn from everyone, especially those we don’t agree with.

...

f you don’t like our point of view or any of our guests point of view ...good for you, but it doesn't really matter. We encourage you to respect those who hold different opinions than yourself. Let people think what they want to think, regardlesss of what you think. We encourage you to stop trying to control what other people think or believe and start trusting in peoples own ability to "figure it out" and use their own discernment, rationality and ability to come to their own conclusions, in due time. We believe that most of our experiences are subjective in the current human form that we are limited to. Although there is an omnipotent objective truth, if we are restricted to our senses and other people's testimony to describe this truth, then it needs to be taken with a grain of salt as both perception and recollection is limited. True transformation and awakening is something that is driven from within the individual. Change yourself ...and you'll change the world. Don't worry about everyone else, worry about yourself! So often, people who are convinced that they hold "the truth" and nothing but the truth becomes a collectivist fascist who is obsessed with what everyone else thinks as opposed to being concerend with themselves.

We're just trying to teach the controversy, motherfucker...

Yeah, I just wonder why if they're so darned open to these multi-faceted mysteries of the universe, politically they absolutely favour disgruntled, fearful white men. And occasionally women. Well, perhaps they'll discourse in some future broadcast about The Uniqueness of Chinese Civilization, though I daresay that's improbable.

I only listen to the occult/mystical/paranormal stuff anyway. Though I am a bit worried that there's starting to be some sort of crypto-fascist leakage in that area as well, judging by the weird-sounding broadcast "Dyatlov Pass UFO incident, The Rise of International Communism & Islam".

Hell yeah; I think you're spot on and am glad you started this thread.

I have occasionally been listening to Red Ice Radio in the past several months, and it's my first time actually hearing it after avoiding the show ever since it started. Partially my reason for avoidance was that I wasn't listening to any podcasts (or whatever you want to call them) at all, but it also struck me as something to not waste time on. Specifically because of the nebulous nature of the information presented by certain guests. I think my first time seeing a link to Red Ice was right here, in 2009:

cryptogon.com >> Rik Clay’s Interviews on Red Ice Creations

Never did actually check that out, or engage with Rik Clay's story in any way. Not to cast any aspersion on him per se; the topics covered just seemed too lurid and uncertain for me to spend any time on. Looking at it now, I'll probably go back and listen to those interviews at some point - for two reasons. One, because of a strong incentive on my part to find radio shows to listen to because of practical concerns in my life. And two, because of the hilarious endorsements (?) from Gordon at Rune Soup:

Staying archonological for the moment, there is… ahh… Let me back up. When I was a shopgirl in New Zealand, our left-of-Lenin union rep used to listen to talkback radio in the stockroom, mostly just to angry up his blood. (Also because sports. He was a kiwi, after all.)

There is an element of this in what we might call the alt research community, and anyone who tells you they don’t at least skim outlets like this one is lying. So one of my secret shames is that I do listen to the free hours of Red Ice, but I listen to them in my metaphoric stockroom. Because from time to time, some really important pieces are on.

As for Russell [Brand]… yes, I’m sure we all despaired of the poorly-spelled images shared all over facestalk from your stupidest ‘friends of friends’… but seriously, internets, what were you expecting? Jebus? It’s overwhelmingly likely that he never physically existed. In equal measure, I despair of the redditization of internet discourse where someone is publicly flayed for not being fucking perfect.

“Oh, if Russell hates the elite, he should give away all his money.” What a nice thing to say about a former homeless person. I imagine he’d kill you with a knife if you tried to take even a single pound from him. “It’s poverty tourism.” He’s an ex-junkie. At worst, it’s poverty recall. Oh, and my favourite, courtesy of Red Ice; which for me is like kicking cigarettes, dammit; “it’s an illuminati plot by the BBC to get everyone to vote Labour again.”

That last one is from a piece entitled "Strange Bedfellows: When You Should Have Sex With Them." And on that note, despite the Red Ice mission statement from Henrik posted above (which I quite liked) let me just say that there have been several shows recently that have featured strange bedfellows indeed. People who I definitely didn't think were worth spending time with, as it were, and who made me question the show on a fundamental basis.

It's not just in "The Uniqueness of Western Civilization & Multicultural Madness," "Extremist Watch Groups, Culture Clash & Germanophobia," or "The Dispossession of Europeans & Pathological Altruism" where you'll find these sorts of sentiments. There are many shows in the archive that feature offhand bullshit remarks along these lines. Some blatant comments I've heard from guests about "Jews" and also some Tea Party type opinions about Obama come to mind as well.

I'll keep listening to Red Ice in my "metaphoric stockroom" but the balance lately seems to be tilted towards crap interviews & not towards actual interesting ones such as this:

Catherine Austin Fitts - Secret Space Program & The Black Budget

I added Red Ice Radio to my Anomaly Radio network lineup of shows back in August/September 2007 and I've definitely noticed this drift.

I used to really enjoy listening to the shows but have increasingly been disinterested and uncomfortable with the choice in guests/topics.

We shall see...

I should say, that as a "Red-Ice" regular, Ive been frustrated with a lot of their content lately. The funny thing is, that most of the "Mysterious Universe" podcasts of late have also been poor

Not to say that we shouldnt pick out the gems when they occassionally appear, which they do.

But of late, the volume of decent content, reminds me more and more of C2C in this respect.

There are real nuggets there, but discernment is key.

I really only listen to Richard Dolan's show (that's on Red Ice if I'm not mistaken?) - I do enjoy his shows quite a bit, but it's sounding to me like I probably won't enjoy the other programs as much :/

The fact that he uses the term "collectivist fascist" embodies what I don't like about RIR, so it's not shocking he's falling for sketchier stuff. I still listen sometimes, though. His interview was Karen Hudes was pretty weird, though mostly because if her, I think (not that I think she's insincere). She jumped from World Bank corruption to the world being run by the Jesuits who in turn are controlled by quasi-human hominids with elongated skulls who have DNA so distinct from the rest of us that if we mated the babies would be infertile.

Henrik took time to bash the "socialist new world order" recently in his interviews with Sofia Smallstorm about Sandy Hook and also with Catherine Austin-Fitts. I really don't have a high opinion of the intelligence of someone who thinks it's socialists who are controlling the world... But he has some good guests, and what else is out there? Anyone have any good recommendations? I noticed that Richard Dolan has a show, and I checked out his interview with Joseph P. Farrell....

That interview was hilarious for the way that she acted so impatient and crabby with him...

I've noticed this too, and it's a little disturbing. I just don't listen to those particular podcasts, but it's making me glad I never subscribed to get the second hour.

There was a recent one on Vikings and runes, which I listened to and thought was very interesting; then when I looked up the guest, turns out he's part of an organization several members of which went to a white supremacist rally. He denied that he'd sent them, but defended their right to go and refused to kick them out. Soured me on the whole thing. I am of Scandinavian ancestry and have a lot of interest in the runes and the Nordic gods, but I don't want anything to do with the people who take that and meld it with neo-Nazism. I feel that they're ruining it for the rest of us.

Agreed, and I'm a little suspicious of his take on the environmental movement, too.

"Ramzpaul - Multicultural Chaos, Peaceful Nationalism & White Guilt"

"Frank Salter - War on Human Nature, Replacement Level Migration in the West & Crime of Diversity"

I think that this deluge of bullshit finally outweighs for me the few worthwhile programs on Red Ice, such as these recent ones that are relatively interesting:

"Andrei Znamenski - Red Shambhala: The Dark Side of Tibetan Buddhism"

"Joseph P. Farrell - Clash of Breakaway Civilizations & Secret Space Program"
The new way of thinking is precisely delineated by what it is not.

I generally don't bother with TV and Radio; too much blathering noises; very little signal.

Some recent episode titles:

"The Dark Side of Reproductive Technologies & Quest for Aryan Genetics"
"White Genocide & The Archontic Infection"
"Canadian Model of Multiculturalism & Degradation of European History"
"Asatru Mindset & Reinvigorating the European Spirit"
"White Identity in a “Post Racial” Society"
"Cultural Marxism & The Psyop in Europe"

Seriously? No opposing viewpoints? It's way past the point where I consider it to be a different show than before. I wonder how recent guests would feel if they knew their episode was going to be sandwiched between this kind of garbage (Richard Dolan and Dave McGowan, I'm looking at you)

In a sense the show remains useful as a way of sharpening arguments against poisonous viewpoints and disinformation
