This is a White family defense piece. They've been working very hard over the years to clear themselves of suspicion, from multiple lawsuits to discussion board infiltration (apparently). I still think Krebs is credible on many counts. She supplied physical evidence (letters, photos) of her connection to White Sr. and reported his and his son's involvement in her family's pedo ring.

The Whites sued Boulder police to gain the records of the Kreb investigation. They also sued media outlets that reported on her claims. I don't know if they have sued Krebs directly. She was not prosecuted for making false statements to police.
Krebs was reported as a missing person in Cal because she had abandoned her car in order to cover her tracks to Boulder, she was in fear for her life after receiving calls from White Sr. about keeping quiet, and her therapist received threats on her answering machine. A lot of the threatening communication she shared with police was in coded language, which is typical in organized abuse groups, but they obviously failed to understand.
What is rarely mentioned however is that she names John Ramsey as one of her abusers, whom she said her family referred to as Uncle Johnny. I do not know the extent to which the police went to confirm whether Ramsey could have been in California during the time period. If anyone has a source on that, it would be very helpful. Why this is not used as the major argument against Kreb's credibility is a bit of a mystery to me at this point.

D: I'd also like to say that I have and Mary can vouch this for me, that I have been talking about things like this for the last ten years and Mary has tried to get me help with this from a law enforcement agency and nobody would listen.

D: And that makes me feel like I didn't do enough that is someone would have listened and they would have realized that these people are really going on and that I wasn't making them up (pause) and the reason I am really concerned about my niece and what's happening to her and what's already happened.
