An analysis of the relationships between 43,000 transnational corporations has identified a relatively small group of companies, mainly banks, with disproportionate power over the global economy.

The study’s assumptions have attracted some criticism, but complex systems analysts contacted by New Scientist say it is a unique effort to untangle control in the global economy. Pushing the analysis further, they say, could help to identify ways of making global capitalism more stable.

Unless they have designs on repopulating it with their kind. I am NOT interested in it, but it would be interesting to see the lengths of their depravity. There would be no one to write the book of course nor any audience. I think we are witnessing this depravity as we speak. It could be that we are being exterminated.

Dude's gotta live, and shit. I'm a wage slave and don't own any property (though I'm paying the bank for a house I no longer live in). I get involved with their reality pretty much every moment of my existence. I walk to work but get menaced by automobiles being driven by other wage slaves who are really pissed off at their own existence (or at least their driving habits make it seem that way). I'm sunk so deeply into "the system" that I don't know of a way out.
