I had heard much about the way that Hillary was able to use control of the Democratic Party machine to suppress the challenge of Bernie Sanders. I had not fully understood it until I saw this truly shocking video of the Nevada Democratic Convention, a stage in the awarding of that state’s delegates to Hillary or Bernie. After the announcement of a narrow win for Hillary, which to many seemed improbable, the chairwoman of the Convention, Roberta Lange, a member of the National Democratic Committee, absolutely refused demands for a recount. She then closed the Convention after calling for a voice vote, again uncounted, on a rules change to allow her to do that.
Twice as many Sanders delegates to the Convention were disqualified by the Committee,for “administrative reasons”, as the supposed majority for Clinton, which even after those disqualifications did not appear to reflect the apparent balance of delegates present.
I think watching the video will tell you more than anything I can say. When adverts appear keep watching past them as it seems to be in several parts.
The fraudulence of the whole process is blatant now, and the fraudsters are completely unapologetic about it. The audience is close to insurgency there, but the video cuts off just when things start to get really interesting.
54,000 Brooklyn voters ‘vanish’ ahead of primary day
In a pre-primary bombshell, the city’s Board of Elections was pummeled with questions Monday about how 54,000 Democratic voters vanished from the rolls in Brooklyn.
The voter rolls on April 1 showed the borough had 853,687 registered Democrats who are considered “active” because they voted at least once in the last four years.
But in November, there were 917,508, or 63,558 more.
The board said the numbers changed because many once-active voters were moved to the inactive list.
But that list grew by only 9,154 voters — from 82,807 to 91,961 — leaving 54,404 Brooklyn voters missing.
Voters on the inactive list can still cast a ballot if they live in the city.
But the “missing” voters are out of luck — their names have been stricken from the records.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said he was “confused” by the discrepancy and would seek an explanation.
“I’ve asked already today for an analysis of this from the Board of Elections,” the mayor said.
Bertha Lewis, director of the Black Institute, called for an investigation.
“There needs to be a probe. We know that 300K-plus have been purged without explanation,” she said.
Brooklyn Councilman Brad Lander called the purge “weird” and “troubling.”
Board of Elections Executive Director Michael Ryan said the mystery is easily explained: Because of retirements and staff illness, the voting list was not properly maintained in Brooklyn for six to eight months.
When staffers caught up with the backlog, he said, they purged voters who should have been removed earlier last year.

What's with this "please do this" shit? Jeb! did it with his "please clap" thing. I am 100% confused by all of this.
When I was a little tike (I think 4th grade) went on our little stupid "gifted and talented" field trip and it was stressed how solemn and honest US elections are. We went to both the D and R HQs in Denver on the trip. Since my entire family has always voted D and were party members even though for a brief time they were fundie christians they always hated the likes of Reagan and the like. I genuinely was afraid as I remember going into the R HQ. I don't know why as what did I know at that age but it was a distrust in republicans. It has stayed with me all my life. Now the democrats have flipped and have proven themselves to be totally corrupt.
Which leaves Sanders, a socialist, with the job of possibly making the democrats believable again. But should he do so? This is one fucked up year.

The audience are chanting "recount" there, but (serious question): How do you even do a recount on a vote without a paper-trail?
What, exactly, would you be recounting? And how, exactly, could you prove you'd done it honestly and accurately?
ON EDIT: Or was there a paper-trail in Nevada?

From fb user Bayardo Sandy: I was a state delegate for Bernie and Friday I volunteered to the Nevada Democratic Party (“NDP”) to register delegates and hand their credentials.
Saturday, the NDP violated Robert's Rules because there was never a floor count, instead the NDP used the registration of the day before (Friday) as the voter count for Saturday. Please understand if a person registered the day before and never showed up to the convention, that person would be counted as present on the floor. And by the way, since there was no floor count the NDP could decide the count. Most Bernie supporters were screaming “RECOUNT” to get a new floor count instead the count of delegates for the day before and the floor count was never acknowledged.
Secondly, the NDP in the beginning of the Convention the DNP substituted Robert's Rules by “Temporary Rules,” so temporary rules means whatever we say rules. So, the whole process was rigged. After everyone left, I talked to one of the cops, and I became aware that there was premeditation by the NDP, because the cops were called in 30 minutes before the NDP decided to close the convention. So... the NDP had all the intention to rig the vote and to close the Convention as soon as the policemen arrived.

Two elections tonight, then 20 days pretty much off until the final round of CA, NJ, PR and a couple of others. Hope he goes for all of it tomorrow. (THAT is unlikely, of course.) But substantive legal actions underway in NY & AZ.
Still hoping for the Platonic form of scandal. (Trump caught in money-laundering sex-tape with Clinton.)

Hm, Bernie's vote count stays exactly the same ...
Note also exactly 11,000 vote on the combined, +11,000 for Clinton, 0 for Sanders.
Also the unlikely seeming of 2x the precincts = 2x the votes.
(I want to at least hear an acknowledgement and an argument that there was a typo leaving out the two 1s, except that doesn't explain the added precincts/total votes.)
