I still believe in Snowden...it's Assange that I am having second thoughts about

Snowden has the U.S. best interest at heart....Assange doesn't

Assange and the Snowden just a latter day Falcon and the Snowmen?
I can see it. A millennial reboot psyop with not as compelling actors as the original, like Star Trek, Star Wars, etc.

I would be inclined to entertain this just because there has to be either incredible level of naivete or hubris to take on ones own government, especially the US.
One would want an equivalent superpower in ones pocket.
Manning I would guess didn't and we see what happened to him. I could see Assange not initially but then being put in a position where he would have to. And maybe Snowden had a sweetheart deal from the beginning. So one piggy went to the pen, one piggy is holed up in the embassy shilling for Russia Today and one piggy lives in Moscow.

The Falcon and the Snowmen
The true story of a disillusioned military contractor employee and his drug pusher childhood friend who became walk-in spies for the Soviet Union, based on a true story, starring Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn.

Why? Because he doesn't like Hillary?

Maybe it's Hillary who doesn't have the US best interests at heart.

Russia are hacking the US elections.

Is that realistic, and even if it was, is that really the kind of position you want to shout about? It positions America as a lesser nation, subject to the manipulation and influence of others. It's not exactly a strong, leadership role she's fronting for the nation.

It's kind of sad that $hillary is resorting to such desperate tactics against the worst candidate in electoral history. Always blaming others, in '08 as now. Some other is to blame - never her own ineptitude, awful strategies, and total unsuitability for the job. Yay us who have to deal with the consequences of her hubris.

Isn't Snowden a blatant CIA asset, btw?

Assange is hacking U.S. elections....I don't know what Russia is doing

although I do know Trump has asked Putin to hack away as long as it isn't him they're hacking

No binary thinking for me. They're both wretched. Hillary is more dangerous. If a person votes for either one of them there something wrong with that person.

Binary thinking has reached epidemic levels in this country.

The Russian government probably aren't nice, cuddly people.

They're an awfully poor choice of Enemy Number One for the West, though.

I think in the coming decade we're all about to find out in clearer and clearer terms just how few friends we have around the world.

If leaders like Clinton and Sarkozy get back into power, with their extremely arrogant and unhelpful track record, things could get especially bad.

Putin's government is close to certain factions in the Western "deep state" - I feel many groups have invested in leveraging Snowden and Assange's theatrics.

Thats ridiculous. The only people hacking US elections are the Deep Spook State, and their candidate is Hillary. I don't know why you're worried sbout Trump winning. He has as much chance as Bernie Sanders.

Assange? From his little old hidey hole in the Ecuador Embassy, London, is hacking the elections of the USA (most powerful military and financial empire on the planet)?

If that's true then Trump is the least of anyone's problems
