Cambridge Analytica seems to sell coups via being a shell company for other front companies which use spies, technology, etc. It acts as the front office for companies like Black Cube (Israeli intelligence) and AIQ and likely the Russian FSB who work as "private contractors"

Handling Harvey

Schneiderman's office was directed by Cuomo in March, 2018 to investigate the initial handling of sex assault allegations against Weinstein by the New York Police Department and the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

He was already looking into whether the sexual misconduct and harassment allegations made against the Hollywood producer could be indicative of discrimination and other civil rights violations.

"No New Yorker should be forced to walk into a workplace ruled by sexual intimidation, harassment or fear. If sexual harassment or discrimination is pervasive at a company, we want to know," Schneiderman said in an October 2017 statement.

In February, 2018, Schneiderman filed a civil lawsuit to make sure any victims of Weinstein were compensated as part of any future sale of The Weinstein Company.

In the dozens of allegations that were brought against Weinstein of varying degrees of harassment and sexual misconduct, Weinstein has apologized for his behavior but "unequivocally denied" any allegations of non-consensual sex, according to a statement provided by his publicist last fall.

Harvey Weinstein will be charged with rape, source says

Weinstein empire unravels amid scandal

New York (CNN)Harvey Weinstein is expected to turn himself in to the NYPD on Friday morning on charges that he raped one woman and forced another to perform oral sex on him, a source familiar with the investigation told CNN.

Manhattan prosecutors will charge Weinstein with first- and third-degree rape in one case and first-degree sex act in a second case, the source said.

Weinstein's New York-based attorney, Benjamin Brafman, on Thursday declined to comment on whether his client would turn himself in.

The disgraced Hollywood producer is also under investigation for alleged sex crimes in Los Angeles and London. Federal prosecutors in New York have started a sex-crimes investigation involving Weinstein, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The charges follow a flood of accusations against Weinsten that led women around the world to come forward with accounts of being sexually harassed by powerful men. Weinstein's accusers welcomed the news as a sign that the tables were finally turning -- not only on him but on other accused predators.

Why women hesitate to report sexual misconduct
"I, and so many of Harvey Weinstein's survivors, had given up hope that our rapist would be held accountable by law. Twenty years ago, I swore that I would right this wrong. Today we are one step closer to justice," said actress Rose McGowan, one of the first women to publicly accuse Weinstein of assault.

"We were young women who were assaulted by Weinstein and later terrorized by his vast network of complicity. I stand with my fellow survivors. May this give hope to all victims and survivors everywhere that are telling their truths," she said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
Dozens of accusations

Weinstein has been accused of rape, assault and other forms of sexual misconduct. Weinsten's representative has said he sought treatment after the accusations and any allegations of non-consensual sex were "unequivocally denied."

Harvey Weinstein's attorney says client is 'lonely and angry'
Dozens of women have come forward publicly to accuse Weinstein of misconduct following reports in The New York Times and The New Yorker in 2017 about his treatment of women, including actresses with whom he worked.

Two of those women, Asia Argento and Ashley Judd, on Thursday tweeted an article about Weinstein turning himself in. Paz de la Huerta, another Weinstein accuser, declined to comment on the news.
The women said Weinstein threatened to ruin their careers if they went public with their accounts. On Thursday, New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor recounted in a tweet some of his threats and declared "not anymore."

A movement gains steam

The allegations catalyzed the decades-old #MeToo movement that calls attention to sexual misconduct. The heightened scrutiny has rippled across industries and ensnared numerous powerful men, from journalists Matt Lauer and Mark Halperin to chefs Maria Batali and John Besh.
On Thursday, CNN reported that several women have accused actor Morgan Freeman of inappropriate behavior and harassment.
They're not celebrities. But #MeToo changed their lives.
#MeToo also sparked conversations about everyday workplace harassment.
Tarana Burke, who started #MeToo, said Weinstein's intention to turn himself in marked a turning point in the conversation.
"This moves from the court of public of opinion into an actual courtroom," Burke told Variety.
"That is super cathartic for a bunch of the survivors, or even survivors who are not necessarily victimized by him."

It appears Asia Argento has paid off a now young man for raping him... :starz:

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/19/us/a ... nnett.html

[I]n the months that followed her revelations about Mr. Weinstein last October, Ms. Argento quietly arranged to pay $380,000 to her own accuser: Jimmy Bennett, a young actor and rock musician who said she had sexually assaulted him in a California hotel room years earlier, when he was only two months past his 17th birthday. She was 37. The age of consent in California is 18.

That claim and the subsequent arrangement for payments are laid out in documents between lawyers for Ms. Argento and Mr. Bennett, a former child actor who once played her son in a movie.

The documents, which were sent to The New York Times through encrypted email by an unidentified party, include a selfie dated May 9, 2013, of the two lying in bed. As part of the agreement, Mr. Bennett, who is now 22, gave the photograph and its copyright to Ms. Argento, now 42. Three people familiar with the case said the documents were authentic.

She first met him when he played her son in a movie when he was seven... in which he played a rape victim, apparently... Yechhh.

Harvey Weinstein pleads not guilty to two new charges of predatory sexual assault
Asked by the judge if he wants to go to trial, Weinstein's answer of "not really" brought laughs from the courtroom audience.

Aug. 26, 2019, 9:07 AM CDT / Updated Aug. 26, 2019, 9:20 AM CDT
Harvey Weinstein on Monday pleaded not guilty to two new charges of predatory sexual assault, as a New York City judge delayed the disgraced movie mogul's trial till next year.

The new charges are connected with testimony expected from actress Annabella Sciorra, who claims Weinstein barged into her Manhattan apartment and raped her in 1993.

Weinstein's trial had been set for Sept. 9 but Manhattan Supreme Court Justice James Burke on Monday pushed it back to Jan. 6.

When Burke asked Weinstein if he wanted to go to trial, he responded, "not really," bringing chuckles to the Manhattan courtroom.

Weinstein has consistently denied all allegations that he had nonconsensual sex.

The movie producer did not respond to reporters' questions going into court. Then coming out, one person asked Weinstein how he was doing and he responded, "Really good."

Defense lawyers have criticized these latest charges, calling them an "11th-hour maneuver."

Weinstein's lawyers have been demanding that their client's trial be moved out of New York City, claiming that extensive publicity prevents him from getting a fair hearing from 12 jurors.

Before Monday's indictment, Weinstein was facing five felony charges — two counts of predatory sexual assault, one count of criminal sexual act in the first degree and one count each of first-degree rape and third-degree rape.

Weinstein has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
