Alabama ex-cop says she was tasked with keeping Roy Moore away from cheerleaders at high school games

A retired Alabama police officer told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Tuesday that she had to keep an eye on Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore in the 1980s at local high school football games because he would regularly harass the team’s teenage cheerleaders.

Faye Gary, who for 37 years was an officer at the Gadsden Police Department, explained to Mitchell that Moore’s reputation for pursuing underage girls was widely known throughout the community.

“We were also told to watch him at the ballgames, and make sure that he didn’t, you know, hang around with the cheerleaders,” said Gary.

Gary also said she learned that Moore had been barred from entering the local shopping mall because he had been “harassing” young women who worked there.

Moore faces multiple allegations that he inappropriately pursued teenage girls when he was in his 30s, including allegations from two women that Moore tried to force them to have sexual contact with him when they were both under the age of consent.

JUDGE ROY MOORE OF ALABAMA, THE LEAGUE OF THE SOUTH & THE SEETHING ENERGY OF LUCIFER

My mother was born in the 1920s on a cotton crop-sharing tenant farm in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana under the conditions and badges of human bondage. She often talked about the hard times. Sometimes when she talked about the cotton farm, I could see the fear that still lingered in her heart and soul. She walked miles to school sometimes thru the snow without shoes. She didn’t have shoes. She had to quit school in the 2nd grade. My grandfather, Luke, got into it with the cheating white farmer. He was forced to abandon his family or his family had had to take to the road right that moment, then and there under threat of a shotgun. Mother had to drop out of school to help on the farm. My uncle, Harmon, told me about the no food on the table. He said, O’ Luke hid a piece of a roll of bologna sausage up in the attic. He was so hungry one day that he found the the bologna and ate it. I thought about his eldest sister, my mother. What did she eat? Most likely, nothing at all. Well, uncle never forgot about the whipping he got from O’ Luke for eating the bologna. Right now, today, some of my family are like the bluesman Sonny Boy Williamson. What they experienced in the Deep South was so troubling that they couldn’t and wouldn’t talk about it. They took it to their graves, and NOBODY KNOWS.

Donald J. Drumpf’s Dark Circle Department of Justice and FBI has downplayed the threat that white nationalist terrorist groups pose to people of color, and the security of the nation. Instead, they focus on and target “black identity extremists” based on an ILLUSION– premeditated violence against law enforcement. It is a PRETEXT to be much greater story.

Image

The young 20 year old black man, DeAndre Harris, savagely attacked and beaten almost to death with sticks, pipes, and metal objects in Charottesville, VA by armed white nationalists has been arrested facing an allegation that he injured a white supremacist on the day of the white nationalists march to unite. Harris was served a warrant charging him with unlawful wounding a white nationalist, the Charlottesville Police Department said.

Image
Harry Ray Crews

The League of the South, a neo–Confederate/Nazi organization, say Harold Ray Crews, 48 years old, the group’s North Carolina chairman, pursued the warrant. Crews is a NC attorney. He is also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV). Don’t get it twisted. I am not going to talk about the merits of that case. I will talk about the white terrorist group, The League of the South.

Image

One of the objectives of the Charlottesville united white nationalist march was to unify white supremacist terrorist groups with the League of the South in the middle. The above is a poster for the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally derived from secret Hell Fire Club- Master Mason Benjamin Franklin’s famous “Join or Die” cartoon. The snake has powerful, superstitious connotations. During Franklin’s era, there was myth that a severed snake would come back to life if the pieces were put together before sunset. The cartoon, which appeared alongside Franklin’s editorial about the “disunited state” of the colonies, symbolically portrays an either/or fallacy: unite or be attacked by French and Indian allies.

The Charlottesville groups depicted include from left to right (K) “Kekistani,” (AC) “Anti-Communist,” (L) “Libertarian,” (N) “Nationalist,” (I) “Identitarian/Identity Evropa,” (SN) “Southern Nationalist (League of the South),” (NS) “National Socialist,” and (AR) “Alt Right.” The National Socialist flags depicted include Traditionalist Worker Party, and Vanguard America.

Image

The “national flag of Kekistan” mimics a German Nazi War Flag, with the Kek logo replacing the swastika and the green replacing the infamous German red. Why is it necessary for white nationalist supremacists to unite around- secession from the U.S., the violent overthrow of the government, and a race war against people to force, particularly Black, back to the conditions of HUMAN BONDAGE!
Roy Moore is not only an Alabama issue. He is national issue, because there are reasons to believe that he is a clandestine member of The League of the South that seeks secession, the violent overthrow of the national U.S. Government, and war against Black people in pursuit of a MODERN FORM OF SLAVERY...

Here is another one ...
I love how Jupiter (expansion) in Scorpio (sex, death, transformation, secrets) has blown this whole thing out of the water. It's been there since Oct 11, and will 'be there for a year. Guys can't get away with anything any more, the genie is out of the bottle, for sure. #metoo. :yay

https://rewire.news/article/2017/11/22/texas-detention-center-faces-allegations-widespread-sexual-abuse-again/

Sofia Casini, the immigration programs coordinator at Grassroots Leadership, told Rewire what is happening inside of Hutto is an example of “ongoing, persistent abuse of power.” “You have to keep in mind that all of the women in Hutto are asylum seekers and many have experienced sexual assault. Not only is detention already inherently traumatizing, but now you have sexual assault survivors experiencing more abuse and being re-traumatized. These guards wield so much power over these women. It silences them, and it impacts their day-to-day emotional and psychological well-being,” Casini said.

This is not the first time allegations of sexual abuse have emerged from Hutto. Notably, in 2007, a CoreCivic (formerly Corrections Corporation of America) guard was accused of sexually assaulting a woman detained at Hutto “while her son was sleeping in his crib inside the cell,” according to Courthouse News. In 2010, another CoreCivic guard was charged with sexually assaulting eight women whom he was tasked with transporting. According to Casini, CoreCivic experienced no ramifications for allowing male guards to transport women detained in Hutto, despite having a signed agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that does not allow male guards to transfer women detainees.

As more women who have been detained in Hutto come forward with allegations of sexual abuse, advocates are demanding that the women be released from detention “to heal,” and that they are granted an investigation into their claims, with the possibility of obtaining U visas for their participation in the investigation.

In a letter obtained and published by the Austin, Texas-based immigrant rights organization Grassroots Leadership, Monterrosa first came forward about the abuse she says she experienced at Hutto. In her letter, she also references a woman she was familiar with at Hutto who was transferred to the Laredo Detention Center after filing a formal complaint regarding sexual harassment she was experiencing. That woman, Ana, a pseudonym, has since come forward and given Grassroots Leadership permission to share the details of her story in a statement released Tuesday.

“I was sexually harassed for months by a guard who worked in the recreation area at Hutto. The guard asked me about my sexuality in various occasions and inappropriately stared at me when I was in her area. She also told me that we were going to be together one day. I was harassed every time I was around her, but I was scared of saying anything for fear that doing so may negatively impact my case,” Ana said in a statement to Grassroots Leadership. “After after other guards noticed the harassment, they encouraged me to file a report, but nothing happened to the guard and I was transferred in retaliation. I know this happened to at least another woman who was deported shortly after I arrived there. CoreCivic [the private prison company that operates Hutto] and ICE do everything in their power to cover these types of situations and make sure everything stays internally; they think they are untouchable.”

Garrison Keillor after being fired: I think we should 'leave the past behind'

by Caitlin Yilek | Nov 30, 2017, 8:23 AM

Author and radio host Garrison Keillor, at least for a moment, considered leaving the country after he was fired from Minnesota Public Radio amid a sexual misconduct allegation.

In a since-deleted Facebook post on Wednesday night, Keillor said he may have to leave the United States in order to walk around in public without feeling uncomfortable.

“It’s astonishing that fifty years of hard work can be trashed in a morning by an accusation. I always believed in hard work and now it feels sort of meaningless,” Keillor wrote, according to a screenshot of the post captured by the Star Tribune. “Only a friend can hurt you this badly. I think I have to leave the country in order to walk around in public and not feel accusing glances.”

In a subsequent post read by the Star Tribune, Keillor detailed what his future may hold after a conversation with his wife, suggesting that they may leave Minnesota.

“I need her and I need to have work to do and I need to live someplace where we can both be happy. I have about ten years of work to do, sitting in my computer. I want to write a couple movies, write a weekly column (preferably humorous), write a book called Gratitude. I think we should move east and leave the past behind.”

MPR announced Wednesday it had fired Keillor after allegations of inappropriate behavior with an individual who worked with him.

Keillor said he put his hand on a woman’s bare back, but later apologized when she recoiled.

“I meant to pat her back after she told me about her unhappiness and her shirt was open and my hand went up it about six inches. She recoiled. I apologized. I sent her an email of apology later and she replied that she had forgiven me and not to think about it. We were friends. We continued to be friendly right up until her lawyer called,” he said.

Reports: Farenthold Is Lawmaker Behind $84K Sex Harassment Settlement

Image

Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-TX) was the lawmaker behind a $84,000 taxpayer-funded sexual harassment settlement with a former staffer, Politico reported Friday.

The settlement was paid to his former communications director, Lauren Greene, who sued Farenthold in 2014 over allegations of gender discrimination, sexual harassment and a hostile work environment, Politico reported, citing a lawsuit and unnamed sources. NBC News also confirmed the report.

TPM reported on that lawsuit after it was filed December 2014.

Greene said she was fired after complaining about Farenthold and one of his male staffers, who told her that the congressman had “sexual fantasies” and “wet dreams” about her. She also claimed that Farenthold drank too much and told her inappropriate things about his sex life with his wife.

The suit was dropped after Farenthold and Greene agreed to settle, according to a joint statement that the two wrote at the time, but was never released.

In a closed-door meeting with GOP lawmakers Friday, House Administration Committee Chairman Gregg Harper (R-MS) said that the Office of Compliance had only paid out a settlement for one sexual harassment complaint in the past five years, at the cost of $84,000, Politico reported.

Neither Farenthold nor Greene’s attorney would confirm or deny they were the parties involved in the $84,000 Office of Compliance settlement, but Greene’s lawyer and Farenthold’s office both shared the joint statement. The statement said the two confirmed they had reached a deal, partially to save taxpayer dollars. Farenthold said the settlement wasn’t indicative of an admission of guilt.

Farenthold “disagrees strongly” with Greene’s claims and “adamantly denies that he engaged in any wrongdoing,” the statement said. It also said that the two parties couldn’t discuss the agreement.

Farenthold also formally denied the allegations in the lawsuit in February 2015, TPM reported at the time.

The Office of Congressional Ethics investigated the allegations against Farenthold as well, but found that Greene’s complaints were unsubstantiated, according to Politico.

“While I 100% support more transparency with respect to claims against members of Congress, I can neither confirm nor deny that settlement involved my office as the Congressional Accountability Act prohibits me from answering that question,” Farenthold said Friday in the statement.

Farenthold’s settlement with a former staffer is the second publicly known sexual harassment complaint agreement that the Office of Compliance paid on behalf of a member of Congress. ABC News reported Thursday that that same office paid a $100,000 settlement to staffers of former Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY) to settle groping allegations against the congressman.

The Office of Compliance has come under fire in recent weeks after news broke that it had secretly paid more than $17 million in settlements over the past 20 years over misconduct complaints against members of Congress. It’s not known — besides the Massa and Farenthold cases — how many cases were sexual harassment claims.

The House Ethics Committee sent a letter to the Office of Compliance on Friday asking for the records of all alleged misconduct claims made against sitting members or employees of the House.

Bill O’Reilly sued by woman who says he violated terms of settlement in a harassment case

Bill O’Reilly, former host of “The O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel. (Richard Drew/AP)
Bill O’Reilly is being sued by a former Fox News producer who claims he violated a settlement agreement in a harassment case by disparaging her in the media as a liar and extortionist.

Rachel Witlieb Bernstein’s attorneys filed a lawsuit Monday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against O’Reilly and his former employer, Fox News, for breach of contract and defamation.

Her attorneys said in the lawsuit that O’Reilly and the network violated non-disparagement and confidentiality clauses in their 2002 settlement agreement with Bernstein, which stated that if asked about the case, they “may say only ‘The matter has been resolved (or settled)’, without elaboration.”

“But he’s gone far beyond that and painted our client in a terrible light,” one of her attorneys, Neil Mullin, told The Washington Post.

O’Reilly has publicly denied harassment accusations, calling himself a “target” and saying the claims against him were “politically and financially motivated.”

The lawsuit states that O’Reilly’s remarks portrayed Bernstein in a “false light” and “disparaged her character, in fact calling her a liar and an extortionist.”

“In fact, Mr. O’Reilly is the liar,” the complaint stated. “He mistreated Ms. Bernstein. She was forced out of her job at Fox News and paid a settlement because of his mistreatment.

“She did go to HR and other company executives to complain about him several times. Fox News took no action to protect plaintiff from O’Reilly. There were many witnesses to her mistreatment. She was not politically or financially motivated to raise the claims of abuse.”

Mullin said O’Reilly’s comments not only violated their 2002 settlement agreement but also illustrate a broader issue, in which powerful men who are exposed as harassers attempt to discredit their victims.

“The reason women don’t come out is because there’s a pattern of these men lashing out,” Mullin said.

Mullin said O’Reilly and Fox News have made “false and disparaging claims” against women who had to sign nondisclosure agreements, adding that the women should be released from those agreements.

“It is cowardly to publicly attack these women knowing they have been subjected to contractual provisions requiring absolute silence,” he said.

O’Reilly’s attorney, Fredric S. Newman, said in a statement that “Bill O’Reilly has never mentioned the plaintiff’s name publicly in any context.”

Newman added that Bernstein’s lawsuit had no merit and said that O’Reilly would “respond aggressively in court.”

Fox News could not immediately be reached for comment.

[Bill O’Reilly comes to Bill O’Reilly’s defense. And by the way, he’s mad at God.]

Allegations against O’Reilly came to light in April when the New York Times reported that the cable star and Fox News paid out millions of dollars to five women to settle harassment claims.

As the newspaper reported at the time:

Fox News has been aware of complaints about inappropriate behavior by Mr. O’Reilly since at least 2002, when Mr. O’Reilly stormed into the newsroom and screamed at a young producer, according to current and former employees, some of whom witnessed the incident.

Shortly thereafter, the woman, Rachel Witlieb Bernstein, left the network with a payout and bound by a confidentiality agreement, people familiar with the deal said. The exact amount she was paid is not known, but it was far less than the other settlements. The case did not involve sexual harassment.

Bernstein’s attorneys said in a statement that she “was not the source for this revelation.”

The Times added:

In a statement, Mr. O’Reilly suggested that his prominence made him a target.

“Just like other prominent and controversial people,” the statement read, “I’m vulnerable to lawsuits from individuals who want me to pay them to avoid negative publicity. In my more than 20 years at Fox News Channel, no one has ever filed a complaint about me with the Human Resources Department, even on the anonymous hotline.

“But most importantly, I’m a father who cares deeply for my children and who would do anything to avoid hurting them in any way. And so I have put to rest any controversies to spare my children.

“The worst part of my job is being a target for those who would harm me and my employer, the Fox News Channel. Those of us in the arena are constantly at risk, as are our families and children. My primary efforts will continue to be to put forth an honest TV program and to protect those close to me.”

In interviews and statements following the story, O’Reilly further denied the allegations.

In September, he appeared on the “Today” show, saying that in 42 years in the business, “not one time, did I have any interaction with HR, any complaints filed against me.”

“In totality, this was a hit job, a political and financial hit job,” O’Reilly said.

Must Reads
5 stories you can't afford to miss, every Saturday.
In the new lawsuit, Bernstein’s attorneys said: “This defamatory and disparaging statement is false. Ms. Bernstein settled her claims and left Fox News because of severe mistreatment and by Mr. O’Reilly, as he knows.”

The lawsuit says Bernstein has suffered loss of income, emotional distress and illness.

The filing comes amid mounting harassment and sexual misconduct claims against celebrities, politicians and other public figures. Following an uproar over harassment claims against O’Reilly, Fox News severed its relationship with him in April, just months after the media company became embroiled in a sexual harassment scandal involving its founder, Roger Ailes.

Franken, who has been accused by six other women of groping or trying to forcibly kiss them, denied the accusation.

“This allegation is categorically not true and the idea that I would claim this as my right as an entertainer is preposterous. I look forward to fully cooperating with the ongoing ethics committee investigation,” Franken said in a statement to POLITICO.

Two former colleagues of the woman independently corroborated her version of events, including Franken telling her he had the right to try to kiss her because he was “an entertainer.” The first former colleague interviewed by POLITICO said she was told of the incident in 2006, shortly after it happened. The second former co-worker said she was made aware of the encounter sometime in 2009 or 2010.

Rapey Al, The Entertainer

so you think it is perfectly fine to label someone a rapist with no facts?

Words have meanings Rory ......YOU used the word Rapey....oh maybe since you thought it was cute putting a y on the end you could get away with it...it's not cute ..it is not accurate....it is a disgusting vile unwarranted use of a word...SHAME ON YOU

there is nothing cute about rape

any victim of rape would feel the same way..it is not cute or amusing

your words are indefensible, inexcusable, unforgivable

your hatred of Franken is beyond belief...get a grip

but thanks for repeating my words ..apparently they need repeating since you didn't get it the first two times maybe they need to repeated again

I suppose it is time we put the definition of rape aka rapey here...

Franken should step aside because of the words of the women....but even though Rory as falsely labeled him as a rapist...no one has accused him of rape

ALL ACCUSED SHOULD STEP ASIDE AND NOT BE VOTED INTO OFFICE THAT INCLUDES THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

That's how a decent person would react, ask him to step aside.....not make up slanderous accusations about someone

Rape

Definition of Rape

The crime of rape generally refers to non-consensual sexual intercourse that is committed by physical force, threat of injury, or other duress.

Common law defined rape as unlawful intercourse by a man against a woman who is not his wife by force or threat and against her will. However most states have refined and broadened the statutory definition of rape so that marriage, gender, and force are not relevant. The victim's lack of consent is the crucial element. A lack of consent can include the victim's inability to say "no" to intercourse, due to the effects of drugs or alcohol. Rape can occur when the offender and victim have a pre-existing relationship (sometimes called "date rape"), or even when the offender is the victim's spouse.

To convict an offender for rape, some form of sexual penetration, however slight, must occur. Each instance of penetration can serve as a count of rape, as well.

The most common form of rape is forcible rape, in which an offender uses violence or threats of violence to force a victim into sexual intercourse. In most states, however, rape can also occur in a number of other ways, including posing as a public official and threatening to arrest or punish the victim.

Statutory rape

Statutory rape refers to sexual intercourse with a minor (someone below the "age of consent"). People below the age of consent cannot legally consent to having sex. This means that sex with them, by definition of the strict liability statute, violates the law.

Statutory rape laws vary by state, with states setting the age of consent differently, as well as using different names to refer to this crime. Many states punish statutory rape under laws addressing sexual assault, rape, unlawful sexual intercourse or carnal knowledge of a child. In many states, statutory rape is a felony only if one of the participants (usually a male) is at least three years older than the other; otherwise, it is a misdemeanor. There are very few federal laws dealing with statutory rape.

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.
