Interesting take on this incident, now 60 or so years ago. These guys tried to do a reenactment of the trip taken and comes up with a very plausible reason for the untimely deaths of the adventurers.

I thought this had been covered on R.I but couldn't find anything on search..

The only mention I can remember off the top of my head is the movie Devil's Pass, which I'm pretty sure has nothing to do with what actually happened, but is a half decent found footage scifi-horror.

The subject has been covered in many docu's,articles etc usually lurid tales of missing eyeballs and tongues, radioactivity, monsters and aliens etc etc. But this guy does the trip and also looks at a similar event that happened in Sweden and comes up with a more realistic and to my mind a believable account of what happened that night.

Sorry, I meant mentions here on rigint. I tried searching rigint via google as that is usually better than the forum search and found nothing (is it just me or has google searches become less useful after the forum reorganization?), but I just tried a forum search and turned up quite a few mentions. Did you check your spelling? It's Dyatlov, not Dylatov.
search.php?keywords=dyatlov

But yeah, the Swedish take certainly sounds more plausible than some of the more outlandish versions I've seen (just not as much fun :) ).

Edit: Mad King Jeff, First of His Name started a thread on it back in 2008:
