Remember the obviously crazy conspiracy theory about the use of graphene oxide (OMG how ridiculous) in vaccines?

https://www.pnas.org/content/118/19/e2024998118

Abstract
Intranasal (i.n.) immunization is a promising vaccination route for infectious respiratory diseases such as influenza. Recombinant protein vaccines can overcome the safety concerns and long production phase of virus-based influenza vaccines. However, soluble protein vaccines are poorly immunogenic if administered by an i.n. route. Here, we report that polyethyleneimine-functionalized graphene oxide nanoparticles (GP nanoparticles) showed high antigen-loading capacities and superior immunoenhancing properties. Via a facile electrostatic adsorption approach, influenza hemagglutinin (HA) was incorporated into GP nanoparticles and maintained structural integrity and antigenicity. The resulting GP nanoparticles enhanced antigen internalization and promoted inflammatory cytokine production and JAWS II dendritic cell maturation. Compared with soluble HA, GP nanoparticle formulations induced significantly enhanced and cross-reactive immune responses at both systemic sites and mucosal surfaces in mice after i.n. immunization. In the absence of any additional adjuvant, the GP nanoparticle significantly boosted antigen-specific humoral and cellular immune responses, comparable to the acknowledged potent mucosal immunomodulator CpG. The robust immune responses conferred immune protection against challenges by homologous and heterologous viruses. Additionally, the solid self-adjuvant effect of GP nanoparticles may mask the role of CpG when coincorporated. In the absence of currently approved mucosal adjuvants, GP nanoparticles can be developed into potent i.n. influenza vaccines, providing broad protection. With versatility and flexibility, the GP nanoplatform can be easily adapted for constructing mucosal vaccines for different respiratory pathogens.

Effects of Graphene Oxide Nanoparticles on the Immune System Biomarkers Produced by RAW 264.7 and Human Whole Blood Cell Cultures

Abstract
Graphene oxide nanoparticles (GONPs) have attracted a lot of attention due to their many applications. These applications include batteries, super capacitors, drug delivery and biosensing. However, few studies have investigated the effects of these nanoparticles on the immune system.

In this study, the in vitro effects of GONPs on the immune system was evaluated by exposing murine macrophages, RAW 264.7 cells and human whole blood cell cultures (to GONPs. The effects of GONPs on RAW cells were monitored under basal conditions. The whole blood cell cultures were exposed to GONPs in the presence or absence of the mitogens lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and phytohaemmagglutinin (PHA). A number of parameters were monitored for both RAW and whole blood cell cultures, these included cytotoxicity, inflammatory biomarkers, cytokines of the acquired immune system and a proteome profile analysis. The GONPs were cytotoxic to both RAW and whole blood cell cultures at 500 μg/mL. In the absence of LPS, GONPs elicited an inflammatory response from the murine macrophage, RAW and whole blood cell cultures at 15.6 and 5 μg/mL respectively. This activation was further corroborated by proteome profile analysis of both experimental cultures. GONPs inhibited LPS induced interleukin 6 (IL-6) synthesis and PHA induced interferon gamma (IFNγ) synthesis by whole blood cell cultures in a dose dependent manner. In the absence of mitogens, GONPs stimulated IL-10 synthesis by whole blood cell cultures. The current study shows that GONPs modulate immune system biomarkers and that these may pose a health risk to individuals exposed to this type of nanoparticle.

Toxicity of graphene-family nanoparticles: a general review of the origins and mechanisms

Abstract

Due to their unique physicochemical properties, graphene-family nanomaterials (GFNs) are widely used in many fields, especially in biomedical applications. Currently, many studies have investigated the biocompatibility and toxicity of GFNs in vivo and in intro. Generally, GFNs may exert different degrees of toxicity in animals or cell models by following with different administration routes and penetrating through physiological barriers, subsequently being distributed in tissues or located in cells, eventually being excreted out of the bodies. This review collects studies on the toxic effects of GFNs in several organs and cell models. We also point out that various factors determine the toxicity of GFNs including the lateral size, surface structure, functionalization, charge, impurities, aggregations, and corona effect ect. In addition, several typical mechanisms underlying GFN toxicity have been revealed, for instance, physical destruction, oxidative stress, DNA damage, inflammatory response, apoptosis, autophagy, and necrosis. In these mechanisms, (toll-like receptors-) TLR-, transforming growth factor β- (TGF-β-) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) dependent-pathways are involved in the signalling pathway network, and oxidative stress plays a crucial role in these pathways. In this review, we summarize the available information on regulating factors and the mechanisms of GFNs toxicity, and propose some challenges and suggestions for further investigations of GFNs, with the aim of completing the toxicology mechanisms, and providing suggestions to improve the biological safety of GFNs and facilitate their wide application.

...

Conclusions

In the past few years, GFNs have been widely utilized in a wide range of technological and biomedical fields. Currently, most experiments have focused on the toxicity of GFNs in the lungs and livers. Therefore, studies of brain injury or neurotoxicity deserve more attention in the future. Many experiments have shown that GFNs have toxic side effects in many biological applications, but the in-depth study of toxicity mechanisms is urgently needed. In addition, contrasting results regarding the toxicity of GFNs need to be addressed by effective experimental methods and systematic studies. This review provides an overview of the toxicity of GFNs by summarizing the toxicokinetics, toxicity mechanisms and influencing factors and aimed to provide information to facilitate thorough research on the in vitro and in vivo haemo- and biocompatibility of GFNs in the future. This review will help address safety concerns before the clinical and therapeutic applications of GFNs, which will be important for further development of GFNs in biological applications.

I believe variations of this update have been shared here or in the other thread. Some of this uptick (in heath issues) may be tied to covid itself rather than the 'vaccine', though these big jumps in adverse events/symptoms weren't in play in 2020 (though again, this may be due to a delaying factor -- "long Covid", etc).

Time will make much of this clearer, or at least diminish the strength of current plausible deniability tied to mRNA injection side effects.

My own [currently speculative] take: covid may well cause a number of these symptoms, but the vaccine is an amplifier, and enhancer, of the more damaging effects (clotting, heart inflammation, neurological disorders, etc). These instances will become more prominant in the coming year+. More whistleblowers will eventually come forward. The dam will burst.

This FDA paper from July 2020 makes some very interesting points about mRNA vaccines:
Regulatory Considerations on the Development of mRNA Vaccines.

https://europepmc.org/article/med/32638114

"Replacing rare codons with those used more frequently does not always produce the desired effects"

"For example if translation is too rapid, the protein might not fold correctly into a functional antigen, and this can have the undesired consequences of reducing vaccine efficacy"

"The other modification required for production of a stable mRNA is the addition of the poly(A) tail. The length of the poly(A) tail can affect the translation efficiency, and thus, the expression level of the protein, and therefore, needs to be considered"

"Several mRNA versions of the antigen gene may need to be evaluated in preclinical toxicology and immunogenicity studies."

"If the LNPs contain a lipid component that is not a natural chemical but instead is a novel compound that has not been a part of another drug used in humans, it may need to be tested for toxicity, particularly as some cationic lipids have been found to be toxic in vivo"

"A toxicology study of a mRNA vaccine would generally include an assessment of the reactogenicity of the vaccine in a relevant animal model. However, because the mouse and human immune systems are not always concordant the assessment of potential reactogenicity can be complicated"

"A lipid-based particle encapsulating the mRNA might facilitate passage to distant organs and result in longer retention times. For this reason, biodistribution and retention studies have been requested for mRNA vaccines."

They all "died suddenly" just this past week (February 8-14)

See how many "sudden deaths" have made some news—while "our free press" continues to DENY this Holocaust, and thereby keeps it going

Mark Crispin Miller
Feb 15

Before we note all those whose “sudden deaths” made news just this past week—“unexpected deaths” with no reported cause, or due to heart attacks, strokes, blood clots, cardiac arrest or swift, aggressive cancers (all known to be “adverse events” post-“vaccination”)—let’s review how this unprecedented global spike in sudden death has been deliberately obscured by “our free press.”

While honest doctors, nurses, cops, EMTs, nuns and undertakers have attested to this horror, which they have seen, with their own eyes, unfolding daily since the “vaccinations” started, and even though it’s been statistically confirmed, beyond a shadow of a doubt, by official figures from the life insurance industry and the Department of Defense, the media, both corporate and “alternative,” has not just blacked it out, but keeps on struggling to “explain” it all away, with claims that would be laughable, if they were not engaged in systematic Holocaust denial.

Since people always pay attention when celebrities drop dead, especially when they die before their time, the media jumped to spread the (fake) news, based on a statement from his family, who based it on an iffy coroner’s report, that Bob Saget died because he (somehow) hit his head, and, instead of going to the ER, figured he would sleep it off, and died that night—as happens all the time, “our free press” blared in unison. “What happened to Bob Saget is extremely tragic, but unfortunately not uncommon,” Pfizer cheerleader Dr. Leana Wen told People. “Every year, more than 61,000 Americans die from traumatic brain injury, and many of these are due to falls.” “Bob Saget’s head injury death a tragic reminder of Natasha Richardson’s,” grieved CNN misleadingly, while many other propaganda mills attacked our heads with yelps of pseudo-motherly concern about them: “What to do if you hit your head, according to trauma experts” (NPR); “What should I do if I hit my head? Understanding head trauma” (Washington Post); “What To Do If You Hit Your Head Really Hard” (Mens Health); “Doctors advise what to do after you hit your head” (MSN); “Head Injuries Are Dangerous, And It’s Not That Easy To Tell When One Is Serious. Here’s What To Know” (Buzzfeed).

There are two problems with this victim-blaming story that Bob Saget banged his head, and died because he didn’t get it checked at once (just like Natasha Richardson). First, several medical experts who reviewed the coroner’s report have found it inconsistent with Saget’s very badly fractured skull. His injury was so severe, a concussion expert told the Epoch Times, that “I doubt he was lucid, and doubt he thought, ‘I’m just going to sleep this off.’” “This is significant trauma,” a neurosurgeon told the New York Times. “This is something I find with someone with a baseball bat to the head, or who has fallen from 20 or 30 feet.”

Thus Saget’s head was injured more spectacularly than Natasha Richardson’s (she having hurt it in a fall while skiing, stayed conscious, with no fractures, but shortly got an agonizing headache, and died of an epidural hematoma two days later). So did somebody break into Saget’s hotel room in Orlando with a baseball bat, and do him in? The Orange Country Sheriff’s Office, like the Orange County Medical Examiner, were oddly disinclined to entertain that possibility, perceiving no signs of “foul play”; nor, clearly, has the media gone there, either, preferring to treat Saget’s sudden passing as this really sad enigma: “Mystery still surrounds what Saget hit his head on. Police have closed the investigation, so the question may never be answered,” sighs MSN.

Actually, no “mystery surrounds what Saget hit his head on.” What “mystery surrounds” is why Bob Saget fell so hard; and that is not so much a “mystery” as a forbidden question, since that collapse was more than likely caused by Saget’s booster—a third shot that he jokingly reported on his podcast on December 13: “I went to the pharmacy the other day. I got a booster shot and I should’ve gotten it in my arm, but I got it in my butt, so I’m a little in pain.” Since that gem was only one of Saget’s many bits of “vaccination” schtick (“I’ve been vaccinated five to six times a day and I feel great!” he tweeted in July), his “vaccination” status was no secret. The other problem with those articles about the beloved comedian’s “head injury,” then, is that they make no mention of his having got the jab, repeatedly—as they all surely would have done, if they were works of journalism, written for our benefit, and not just further propaganda for the jab, crafted to keep everybody unaware that he was “vaccinated,” so that we’ll all be that much readier to get more shots ourselves.

This blackout is but one of several tricks that “our free press” has played this week to normalize the ever-growing global toll of those “vaccines.” All those women have been “dying suddenly” because they’re so upset, says ABC News:

‘Broken heart’ cases surge during COVID, especially among women
Potentially deadly heart condition is triggered by intense emotional stress.

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/broken- ... d=82543558

And all those children have been “dying suddenly” because it’s in their genes, says Science:

Geneticists find clues to sudden unexplained child deaths
https://www.science.org/content/article ... ild-deaths

And all those athletes “dying suddenly”? Well, it turns out that they’re not, because that whole story is a “far-right” myth, which “has been debunked repeatedly,” the Washington Post assures us:

How the falsehood of athletes dying of coronavirus vaccines spread
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... es-spread/

(Compare that disgraceful piece with this deft online illustration of the awful truth: https://hugotalks.com/2022/02/09/athlet ... uary-2022/)

While the media thus variously thunders that Big Lie—again, an evil din of Holocaust denial—here and there, the painful truth has quietly come out:

Woman Died of Allergic Reaction to COVID Vaccine, Autopsy Confirms

Autopsy Confirms NY College Student Died From “COVID-19 Vaccine-Related Myocarditis”
https://www.infowars.com/posts/autopsy- ... ocarditis/

And then there’s this rare article, by Dr. Justus Hope, in the Desert Review—a newspaper serving the Imperial Valley in Southern California, about the likelihood that “vaccination” killed two high school athletes on the same day:

Lightning strikes twice – Two high schools sudden deaths on the same day
https://www.thedesertreview.com/opinion ... a9c96.html

(Both deaths covered in that article are noted down below, among the five students who “died suddenly” in the United States just this past week, while still others died in the UK and Ireland.)

Here, then, are the names of those whose “sudden deaths” made news throughout this second week of February, 2022. There will be all too many more as time goes on. In our pain as we continue tracking them, let us all devote ourselves to bringing those complicit “journalists”—every single one of them— to justice by and by; for they too, like so many doctors and professors, are accomplices to this unprecedented crime against humanity.

Highlander Nicki Hart has been named as the soldier who died suddenly on 5 February at Catterick Garrison.
February 11, 2022

A tribute has been paid to a soldier whose "warmth could fill a room" after he died suddenly at Catterick Garrison. The 33-year-old died in the early hours of 5 February at Catterick Garrison and was one of two Catterick soldiers to die that weekend—the two incidents are separate and not being treated as suspicious.

https://www.forces.net/news/4-scots-tri ... nicki-hart

Two days later, the Mirror ran an article on a possible “pandemic of suicide” at Catterick Garrison, noting that “[e]ight Catterick-based soldiers have died suddenly or by suicide since 2018” (emphasis added).
Thus the piece implies that those two recent “sudden deaths” were also suicides—a possibility, although the Mirror notes no evidence for that suggestion: “Cause of death has not been officially confirmed in either case.”

I have been extremely tired. So tired that I can't finish reading all the substack posts to which I subscribe. I try to focus on posts that give medical or statistical information about the dangers of these mRNA vaccines--because I want to be able to justify my unvaccinated status to my friends. Also sometimes I feel as though I'm living in a crazy world. Am I crazy? Are the vaccines truly protective and somehow I'm not realizing it? Michael Moore's vituperative denunciation of the Truckers as a bunch of Trump deplorables was truly shocking to me. And even if they WERE Trump deplorables--have we no sympathy for people who might lose their jobs and livelihoods? Are we ready to denounce anyone who doesn't follow our beliefs? So, my apologies, I've been deleting your valuable documentation of all those who lost their lives to the toxic, life threatening mRNA vaccines. I figure I don't have to read this. But I did read this post--or most of it. And it is truly wonderful. A eulogy to those who deserve to be memorialized. A growing record of the malfeasance, corporate greed, media censorship, medical tyranny being imposed on us with so many feeling grateful compliance to their abusers. At some point who will awaken to this growing crisis? Thank you, Mark, from the bottom of my heart! You are a national treasure. Please stay well and keep inspiring us and helping us maintain our morale. You are the one who resists "the science" as did a few people in Stanley Milgram's experiment who refused to shock their fellow student to death when ordered by doctors to do so. I hope that your (our) resistance will help people wake up a few hours earlier from this nightmare. If it only saves one life--it is worth it. Thank you.

FABRICATED COVID VACCINE DATA: $2 billion lawsuit against Pfizer/BioNTech. Unsealed today.

Lawsuit: https://cdn.locals.com/documents/47656/ ... x117dq.pdf

In the race to secure billions in federal funding and become the first to market, Defendants deliberately withheld crucial information from the United States that calls the safety and efficacy of their vaccine into question. Namely, Defendants concealed violations of both their clinical trial protocol and federal regulations, including falsification of clinical trial documents.

Ventavia’s trial protocol and regulatory violations were so widespread, in fact, that Relator observed them on a near-daily basis during her brief employment period. For example, Relator observed:

• fabrication and falsification of blood draw information, vital signs, signatures and other essential clinical trial data;

• enrollment and injection of ineligible clinical trial participants, including Ventavia employees’ family members;

• failure to timely remove ineligible patients’ data from the trial;

• failure to maintain temperature control for the vaccine at issue;

failure to monitor patients after injection as required by the trial protocol;

• principal investigator oversight failures;

• use of unqualified and untrained personnel as vaccinators and laboratory personnel;

failure to maintain the “blind” as required, which is essential to the credibility and validity of the observer-blinded clinical trial;

• ethical violations, such as failure to secure informed consent and giving patients unapproved compensation;

improper injection of the vaccine (i.e., by over-diluting vaccine concentrate or using the wrong needle size);

• failure to ensure that trial site staff were properly trained as required by good clinical practices;

• safety and confidentiality issues, including HIPAA violations; and

• other violations of the clinical trial protocol, FDA regulations, and Federal Acquisition Regulations and their DoD supplements.

10 Relator reported many of the violations she observed to Ventavia management, who allowed the majority of violations to continue unabated. Defendant Ventavia harassed Relator and terminated her in retaliation for her reports of and efforts to stop fraud against the United States DoD. Relator also reported her concerns to Pfizer after termination, yet Pfizer elected to press on

The FDA issued EUA for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on December 11, 2020. The EUA is based in part on Defendants’ falsified clinical trial results and concealment of key information. As a result, DoD has now purchased misbranded vaccines from Defendant Pfizer, relying on Defendants’ fraudulent misrepresentations that the vaccine trial was properly conducted. Had DoD known of Defendants’ clinical trial protocol violations, fraudulent conduct, and regulatory violations, it would not have purchased the vaccines.

As a result, DoD has now purchased "misbranded vaccines from Defendant Pfizer."

*****

Where have we heard this before? Oh, yeah, 12 years earlier Pfizer was hit with the largest fraud fine in the history of the US Justice department.

Justice Department Announces Largest Health Care Fraud Settlement in Its History

American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. and its subsidiary Pharmacia & Upjohn Company Inc. (hereinafter together "Pfizer") have agreed to pay $2.3 billion, the largest health care fraud settlement in the history of the Department of Justice, to resolve criminal and civil liability arising from the illegal promotion of certain pharmaceutical products, the Justice Department announced today.

Pharmacia & Upjohn Company has agreed to plead guilty to a felony violation of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act for misbranding Bextra with the intent to defraud or mislead.

In rare cases, coronavirus vaccines may cause Long Covid–like symptoms

Brain fog, headaches, blood pressure swings are being probed by NIH and other researchers

...

At the same time, understanding these problems could help those currently suffering and, if a link is nailed down, help guide the design of the next generation of vaccines and perhaps identify those at high risk for serious side effects. “We shouldn’t be averse to adverse events,” says William Murphy, an immunologist at the University of California, Davis. In November 2021 in The New England Journal of Medicine, he proposed that an autoimmune mechanism triggered by the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein might explain both Long Covid symptoms and some rare vaccine side effects, and he called for more basic research to probe possible connections. “Reassuring the public that everything is being done, researchwise, to understand the vaccines is more important than just saying everything is safe,” Murphy says. Like others, he continues to urge vaccination.

How frequently side effects like Dressen’s occur is unclear. Online communities can include many thousands of participants, but no one is publicly tracking these cases, which are variable and difficult to diagnose or even categorize. The symptoms also include fatigue, severe headaches, nerve pain, blood pressure swings, and short-term memory problems. Nath is convinced they are “extremely rare.”

Long Covid, in contrast, affects anywhere from about 5% to 30% of those infected by SARS-CoV-2. Researchers are making tentative progress with several ideas about the underlying biology. Some studies suggest the virus may in certain cases linger in tissues and cause ongoing damage. Other evidence indicates aftereffects of the original infection might play a role even after the body clears the virus.

For example, evidence from animal studies supports the idea that antibodies targeting the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein—the same protein that many vaccines use to trigger a protective immune response—might cause collateral damage, notes Harald Prüss, a neurologist at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) and the Charité University Hospital in Berlin. In 2020, while hunting for antibody therapies for COVID-19, he and his colleagues discovered that of 18 antibodies they identified with potent effects against SARS-CoV-2, four also targeted healthy tissues in mice—a sign they could trigger autoimmune problems.

Early clinical data point in a similar direction. Over the past year, research groups have detected unusually high levels of autoantibodies, which can attack the body’s own cells and tissues, in people after a SARS-CoV-2 infection. In Nature in May 2021, immunologists Aaron Ring and Akiko Iwasaki at Yale School of Medicine and their colleagues reported finding autoantibodies in acute COVID-19 patients that target the immune system and brain; they are now investigating how long the autoantibodies persist and whether they can damage tissues. This month, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center cardiologist Susan Cheng and protein chemist Justyna Fert-Bober wrote in the Journal of Translational Medicine that autoantibodies could last up to 6 months after infection, although the researchers did not correlate autoantibodies’ persistence with ongoing symptoms.

In part to understand whether these autoantibodies harm people, DZNE is checking the cerebrospinal fluid of Long Covid patients for antibodies that react to mouse brain tissue—if they do react, they might attack human neural tissues as well. In a paper Prüss and his colleagues are about to submit, they describe finding autoantibodies that attack mouse neurons and other brain cells in at least one-third of those patients. A group at Northwestern University, meanwhile, reported in an August 2021 preprint that in people with neurological complications after COVID-19, a subset of T cells is persistently activated as would happen with an ongoing SARS-CoV-2 infection, suggesting some sort of aberrant immune response or lingering virus.

Some researchers are looking at another possible culprit for Long Covid: tiny clots in the blood. In an acute SARS-CoV-2 infection, small clots can form that can damage cells that line blood vessels. Resia Pretorius, a physiologist at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, and her colleagues published preliminary evidence in August in Cardiovascular Diabetology that microscopic clots can linger after an infection clears. They might interfere with oxygen delivery, which could explain some Long Covid symptoms such as brain fog. Pretorius is now teaming up with colleagues to develop diagnostics for this microclotting and study ways to treat it in Long Covid.

Pretorius says she and her colleagues have also seen patients—fewer than 20, she estimates—with chronic problems following vaccination. She says these include Long Covid–like symptoms such as brain fog as well as other clotting concerns such as deep vein thrombosis. The cause of the very rare but severe clotting after the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines remains unknown, but Pretorius suspects all COVID-19 vaccines might also sometimes trigger subtler clotting issues. She says she has preliminary evidence that vaccination can lead to microclots, although in most cases they go unnoticed and quickly disappear—an effect she and a colleague saw in their own blood and that of eight other healthy volunteers, which they sampled after their vaccinations.

A touchy topic

Long Covid research also brought the Dressens to Nath. In January 2021, Brian Dressen sought help from Nath, who had been studying Long Covid. Nath responded quickly and asked Brianne Dressen to join an ongoing study he leads on the natural history of inflammatory diseases of the nervous system.

Dozens more patients describing postvaccine complications found their way to Nath and Farinaz Safavi, an NINDS neurologist. “I promise you we will report your issue and other cases we are reviewing now,” Safavi wrote to Danice Hertz in March 2021. Hertz, a retired gastroenterologist who lives in Southern California, had developed debilitating side effects after one dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Senior officials at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Pfizer, among others, were copied on the email, which Hertz shared with Science.

Over the first half of 2021, Nath and Safavi invited Brianne Dressen and others to NIH for testing and, in some cases, short-term treatment, for example with high-dose steroids or intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), which can quell or modulate immune responses. The patients spent at least several days undergoing neurological, cardiac, and other tests, including lumbar punctures and skin biopsies.

The NIH researchers were “trying to help people,” says a health care worker whose symptoms began after the Pfizer vaccine, one of four people in the study who spoke to Science. Nath says 34 people were enrolled on the protocol, 14 of whom spent time at NIH; the other 20 shipped their blood samples and in some cases cerebrospinal fluid.

As time passed, however, the patients say the NIH scientists pulled back. A September visit Brianne Dressen had scheduled for additional neurologic testing was converted to a telemedicine appointment. In December, Nath asked her to stop sending patients his way. “It is best for such patients to receive care from their local physicians,” he wrote to her.

For patients, the silence from NIH was distressing, especially as they struggled to find care elsewhere. The scientists “took the data and left us hanging,” says a person who traveled to NIH in the spring of 2021. “I have no treatment, I have no idea what’s happening to my body.” Physicians, several patients said, had nothing to offer and sometimes even declared the symptoms imagined.

Nath told Science NIH facilities are not equipped to treat large numbers of patients long-term. Says the health care worker of the effort: “It’s too much for two people at the NIH to do.”

The NIH data, which documented the patient cases, haven’t been reported yet. Two top medical journals declined to publish a case series of about 30 people, which Nath first submitted in March 2021. Nath says he understands the rejection. The data weren’t “cut and dried; it was observational studies.” This month, the scientists submitted a case series of 23 people to a third publication, and Nath says his group has submitted an amendment to a Long Covid protocol to include patients with postvaccine side effects.

Science contacted regulators and vaccinemakers about any information they’d gleaned on these side effects. A Pfizer spokesperson wrote, “We can confirm it’s something we’re monitoring.” Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson all said they take side effects seriously and share reports they receive with regulators. An FDA spokesperson said the agency “continues to maintain a strong focus on monitoring the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines,” while the European Medicines Agency notes it “is taking steps to use real-world data from clinical practice to monitor the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 treatments and vaccines.”

Other researchers note the scientific community is uneasy about studying such effects. “Everyone is tiptoeing around it,” Pretorius says. “I’ve talked to a lot of clinicians and researchers at various universities, and they don’t want to touch it.”

Still, her group and others are pushing ahead. Prüss has detected autoantibodies in some patients with postvaccine symptoms, although not in others. Several groups are studying whether a patient’s postvaccination symptoms are due to autoantibodies to the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, which the spike protein targets. Cheng and her colleagues are planning a case series that includes sophisticated imaging and diagnostic tests from a mix of Long Covid patients and those with postvaccine side effects. And Pretorius and her colleague Chantelle Venter are hoping to recruit at least 50 people to study clotting patterns before and after vaccination.

At Yale, Iwasaki is planning to collaborate with Nath and look at any potential link between Long Covid and postvaccine effects, she says. She has spoken with affected patients and her lab intends to collect samples from them, potentially of blood or saliva. Murphy says more work is needed in animal models to trace the body’s response to vaccination. “We need to look at this in controlled situations,” he says.

Prüss is hunting for autoantibodies following COVID-19 vaccination in mice. And he continues to care for patients, both postvaccine and postinfection. His clinic hopes to soon start a clinical trial of a treatment that removes most antibodies from a patient’s blood. However, even if it works well, the procedure is expensive and might not be widely available.

Patients in the middle

People with lasting health problems after vaccination welcome any attention to their plight. “You have this ugly stain on you, and you’re marginalized and abandoned,” Brianne Dressen says. At first, “I was really afraid of causing vaccine hesitancy,” she adds.

Other patients describe vaccine opponents asserting that they deserve to die because they were foolish enough to get vaccinated. Vaccine supporters tell them that by speaking out they risk harming others, who may refuse to get vaccinated and then die from COVID-19. “We’re stuck in this horrible in-between,” says the patient who traveled to NIH last spring.

Brianne Dressen, for her part, went public. She says she was frustrated when it appeared that regulators, including FDA, were not promptly investigating the apparent side effects. She took part in a June 2021 press conference about vaccine side effects held by Senator Ron Johnson (R–WI), who has been outspoken against COVID-19 vaccinations. “Talking to politicians was not our plan A … not even close,” Brianne Dressen says. “It was more like plan J.”

Jana Ruhrländer, too, feels caught. After a single dose of the Moderna vaccine, the microbiology graduate student in Kassel, Germany, developed symptoms including the sensation of internal electric shocks Brianne Dressen experienced, partial facial paralysis, muscle weakness that left her terrified she was having seizures or a stroke, intense thirst, and wild swings in her heart rate and blood pressure. Doctors dismissed her, saying their tests found nothing wrong. She played detective, realizing her symptoms overlapped with a hormonal system called the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system that regulates blood pressure and fluid balance—and in which ACE2 plays a key role. She has recently connected with doctors who are trying to learn whether autoantibodies targeting that system might be causing her symptoms.

Despite her experience, “I still think the vaccines are great,” Ruhrländer says. And the mRNA technology “has so much potential.” But these side effects, which for her have improved somewhat but haven’t disappeared, should be acknowledged and understood, she says. “We have to speak openly about it.”

Some of the patients who spoke with Science say medications that tamp down the immune system have offered at least a measure of relief. Nath noticed the same phenomenon. He hopes results from an NIH clinical trial testing IVIG and intravenous steroids in Long Covid patients “will be applicable to the vaccine-related complications.” None of the patients with whom Science spoke has fully recovered.

Researchers exploring postvaccine side effects all emphasize that the risk of complications from SARS-CoV-2 infection far outweighs that of any vaccine side effect. “You see 10, 100, 1000 times less risk from the vaccine,” Prüss says. But understanding the cause of postvaccine symptoms—and whether early treatment can help prevent long-term problems—could be crucial for designing even safer and more effective vaccines, Murphy says, as well as potentially providing clues to the biology of Long Covid.

Cheng has heard from dozens of people who describe chronic postvaccine problems, and she finds the overlap between their symptoms and those of Long Covid compelling. Now, she wants to move deliberately and scientifically in a search for answers. “We’ve got to retain rigor,” she says. “There’s just this complete dearth of data.”

Autopsies Show: Vaccinating Teens for COVID Is Literally ‘Heartbreaking’

Autopsies of two teenage boys who died days after receiving Pfizer’s COVID vaccine prove the vaccine caused their deaths. Pathological findings suggest there may be a way to distinguish SARS-COV-2 infection-induced myo/pericarditis from vaccine-induced cardiac injury. Vaccine-induced heart injury can be sub-clinical, but how often?

Pathologists who examined the autopsies of two teenage boys who died days after receiving Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine concluded the vaccine caused the teens’ deaths.

The three pathologists, two of whom are medical examiners, published their findings Feb. 14 in an early online release article, “Autopsy Histopathologic Cardiac Findings in Two Adolescents Following the Second COVID-19 Vaccine Dose,” in the Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

The authors’ findings were conclusive. Two teenage boys were pronounced dead in their homes three and four days after receiving the second Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 dose.

There was no evidence of active or previous COVID-19 infection. The teens had negative toxicology screens (i.e. no drugs or poisons were present in their bodies).

These boys died from the vaccine.

Histopathological examination of their cardiac tissue revealed an important new finding: Neither heart demonstrated evidence of typical myocarditis.

Instead, the authors found evidence of microscopic changes consistent with a different form of heart injury called toxic cardiomyopathy. They wrote:

“The myocardial injury seen in these post-vaccine hearts is different from typical myocarditis and has an appearance most closely resembling a catecholamine-mediated stress (toxic) cardiomyopathy.”

The authors further explained what they observed under the microscope:

“Their histopathology does not demonstrate a typical myocarditis … In these two post-vaccination instances, there are areas of contraction bands and hypereosinophilic myocytes distinct from the inflammation.

“This injury pattern is instead similar to what is seen in the myocardium of patients who are clinically diagnosed with Takotsubo, toxic or ‘stress’ cardiomyopathy, which is a temporary myocardial injury that can develop in patients with extreme physical, chemical, or sometimes emotional stressors.

“Stress cardiomyopathy is a catecholamine-mediated ischemic process seen in high catecholamine states in the absence of coronary artery disease or spasm. It has also been called ‘neurogenic myocardial injury’ and ‘broken heart syndrome.’”

The pathologists determined there was a different mechanism of heart injury at play in these two boys, distinct from a purely infectious process that would result directly from a viral infection like COVID-19.

This is an important finding. There may be a way to distinguish cardiac injury resulting from a SARS-COV-2 infection from cardiac injury where the vaccine predisposes the patient to stress cardiomyopathy before contracting COVID-19.

However, the authors are careful not to assume that cardiac injuries from COVID-19 and COVID-19 vaccines can always be sorted out under the microscope.

They explain that stress cardiomyopathy, or “broken heart syndrome,” may also occur in a rare hyperinflammatory state that is known to occur in COVID-19 infection as well:

“This post-vaccine reaction may represent an overly exuberant immune response and the myocardial injury is mediated by similar immune mechanisms as described with SARS-COV-2 and multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) cytokine storms.”

The authors admit this pathological finding may also occur as a result of MIS-C, a known complication of SARS-COV2 infection.

Learning more about this condition requires a biopsy of heart tissue, or in this case an autopsy. We know very little about the nature of myocarditis in people who are clinically stable because heart biopsies are not conducted on them and autopsies are rarely done on patients who die from COVID-19.

There still is no practical way of screening for cardiac injury beyond assessing symptoms.

Unfortunately, the two boys did not have symptoms of myocarditis (fever, chest pain, palpitations, or dyspnea) prior to their cardiac arrest and death. One complained of a headache and gastric upset which resolved. The other had no complaints.

This is extremely concerning. These boys had smoldering, catastrophic heart injuries with no symptoms.

How many others have insidious cardiac involvement from vaccination that won’t manifest until they get a serious case of COVID-19 or the flu? Or perhaps when they subject themselves to the physical stress of competitive sports?

These findings suggest a significant subset of COVID-19 deaths in the vaccinated could be due to the vaccines themselves.

Furthermore, it raises this question: How often does this condition exist in a latent form in vaccinated individuals?

The CDC believes the risk of vaccine-induced myocarditis not significant

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says the risk of myocarditis and pericarditis in adolescents who get the COVID-19 vaccine is “extremely rare” and “most cases are mild.”

But those assurances conflict with the agency’s own data.

The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) presented this disquieting information (see chart below) during its June 23, 2021 meeting convened specifically to address the risks of myo/pericarditis in 12- to 15-year-olds who received Pfizer’s COVID vaccine:

Image

This slide is important for two reasons.

First, the incidence of this potentially lethal condition is significantly higher in the vaccinated (“Observed” column) compared to the background rate (“Expected” column), especially in males in the 18- to 24-year-old age range.

In the 12- to 17-year-old male cohort, the risk of myo/pericarditis is at least 11 times higher than the background rate.

With more than 2 million doses administered at the time when these cases of myo/pericarditis were identified, we can be confident these data represent an undeniable safety signal.

The second reason this slide is important is this: The CDC is drawing directly from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a system specifically designed to monitor for safety signals when vaccines are administered to the public.

As of Feb. 15, the CDC continues to assure the public that “Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem.”

In essence, the CDC is acknowledging that reports of deaths and other adverse events following vaccination exist in VAERS but do not comprise any risk because causality has not been verified.

Then why did the ACIP choose to accept VAERS as a legitimate source of information on myo/pericarditis in their calculations?

The CDC released its conclusions immediately following the ACIP meeting:

“The facts are clear: this is an extremely rare side effect, and only an exceedingly small number of people will experience it after vaccination. Importantly, for the young people who do, most cases are mild, and individuals recover often on their own or with minimal treatment.”

But how do they know this?

One month after this comforting statement from the CDC, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) admitted in this letter to Pfizer that the agency was not able to adequately assess the risk of myocarditis from Pfizer’s product:

“We have determined that an analysis of spontaneous postmarketing adverse events reported under section 505(k)(1) of the FDCA [Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act] will not be sufficient to assess known serious risks of myocarditis and pericarditis and identify an unexpected serious risk of subclinical myocarditis.

“Furthermore, the pharmacovigilance system that FDA is required to maintain under section 505(k)(3) of the FDCA is not sufficient to assess these serious risks.”

Commenting on the FDA’s letter, Dr. Meryl Nass said, “The FDA is saying that neither an analysis of the data in VAERS or of any of the other taxpayer-funded databases will provide sufficient assessment of the risk of this product.”

“This is a joke,” said Nass, adding:

“All this data, plus software, plus a team of analysts, and the FDA says it can’t assess the risk of myocarditis, despite identifying thousands of cases?

“Furthermore, unsaid, but implied by the FDA, is that if the FDA is incapable of assessing the risk of myocarditis despite thousands of reported cases, it cannot or will not be capable of assessing the other serious adverse events that have been reported in conjunction with COVID vaccines.”

If the FDA is not able to perform adequate surveillance of safety signals around vaccine-induced myocarditis, who will?

The FDA assigns this unenviable but essential task to Pfizer itself (again, from the FDA’S letter to Pfizer):

“Therefore, based on appropriate scientific data, we have determined that you are required to conduct the following studies…”

Is myocarditis ‘extremely rare’ after COVID-19 vaccination?

As of Feb. 4, VAERS reported 495 cases of myo/pericarditis in 12- to 17-year-olds. VAERS data show that as of Feb. 10, there were 2,239 reported cases of myocarditis in people under the age of 30.

However, a widely cited CDC-sponsored study (Lazarus et al) concluded the incidence of adverse events is 10 to 100 times higher than are reported to VAERS.

More recent calculations estimate that adverse events are underreported by a factor of approximately 41.

From these estimates, we can conclude there may have been approximately 20,000 cases of myocarditis in 12- to 17-year-olds since Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine received Emergency Use Authorization and was rolled out to this age group..

The VAERS data from June 11, 2021 from the table above show 132 cases of myo/pericarditis were observed in 2,039,000 doses given to 12- to 17-year-old males. This is approximately 6.5 cases in 100,000 doses.

This study from Hong Kong found the incidence of myo/pericarditis after two doses with Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine was 37 in 100,000. This incidence matches nearly exactly with findings from this study that used the Vaccine Safety DataLink (VSD) system (37.7 12-17 year olds per 100,000 suffered myo/pericarditis after their second dose). This is more evidence that significant underreporting is in play in the VAERS system.

Will most of these teens “recover on their own”? How many other vaccinated people have varying degrees of “broken heart” syndrome that remain asymptomatic, undiagnosed and unreported?

These new findings indicate that no one can answer these questions right now — especially not the CDC and the FDA.

If the FDA has admitted it cannot assess the risk of myocarditis using the surveillance systems in place, how then is the CDC able to assure us that the risk is low enough to continue to proceed with a vaccination campaign that now includes 5- to 11-year-old children?

The FDA has abdicated its responsibility for monitoring the safety of these vaccines to the vaccine manufacturers.

The CDC is using VAERS data in its own analyses while urging the public to discount all adverse events, including deaths, that appear in the very same database.

There isn’t any regulation happening here. Our regulatory agencies have become mouthpieces for the very industry they are tasked to oversee.

Covid Vaccines: The Next Vioxx?

Shocking new data on Covid vaccine and booster safety out of Israel and Germany – will covid vaccines overtake Vioxx and thalidomide as the largest ever drug scandal?

Israeli booster safety data

Already back in August 2021, Israeli health authorities published preliminary booster safety data showing that a full one percent of people, i.e. one in one hundred, had to “seek medical help” due to booster side effects. But two weeks ago, the Israeli Ministry of Health (MoH) published a new report that provides much more detailed, and much more disturbing, data on booster side effects.

The original MoH report, published in Hebrew on February 10, was translated into English on February 15 by US-Israeli retired medical professor Eyal Shahar and several volunteers. On February 18, Dr. Josh Guetzkow, a senior lecturer at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, published a first detailed analysis of the report on his Substack.

In contrast to passive reporting systems like the US VAERS system, which typically cover only a fraction of actual side effects, the Israeli report is based on an active survey that directly asked booster recipients about any side effects they may have experienced.

Specifically, the report is based on a professional telephone survey, conducted between 19 September and 25 October 2021, that covered a representative, random sample of 2049 people, stratified by age group and gender, out of about 3 million people who had received a booster dose three to four weeks earlier. Such a sample size should be sufficient to achieve a margin of error of about 2.5% at a 95% confidence interval. The survey excluded, in particular, people who had already recovered from covid.

Among other findings, the Israeli survey shows that:

* Two thirds of the respondents (66%) reported at least one side effect within three to four weeks after the booster (women: 75%).

* Close to one third of respondents (29%) reported that they had “difficulty performing daily activities” due to the booster side effects (women: 51%).

* Close to one in three hundred respondents (0.3%) reported actual hospitalization (i.e. not just medical care) as a result of the side effects.

* Nearly 10% of women under the age of 54 reported disruptions to their menstrual cycle after the booster. Half of these women reported ongoing menstrual symptoms in a follow-up survey two to three months after the initial survey.

* 5.5% of the respondents reported chest pain (women: 7%), and 4.2% reported enlarged lymph nodes (i.e. lymphadenopathy; women: 6%).

* One person reported confirmed post-booster myocarditis (heart inflammation); assuming this was a male person in the youngest of the three age groups of the survey (18-39), one in about 350 young males (0.3%) would be affected.

* Close to 5% reported neurological problems (women: 6.9%), including Bell’s palsy (i.e. facial paralysis; 0.5%), eye disorders (0.5%), memory issues (0.4%), hearing issues (0.4%), convulsions (0.2%), and loss of consciousness (0.2%).

* Close to 4% reported allergic reactions (women: 5.3%), including a rash, itching, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the face or throat.

* About 25% of people with pre-existing auto-immune disorders, depression or anxiety reported a worsening of their symptoms following the booster.

* 5% to 10% of people with diabetes, hypertension, and lung & heart disease also reported a worsening of their condition.

( Finally, 0.2% of respondents reported an outbreak of herpes simplex (women: 0.4%), and 0.2% of respondents reported an outbreak of herpes zoster (i.e. shingles; women: 0.3%).

Next, Dr. Josh Guetzkow compared these values with data from the US VAERS system to calculate the so-called under-reporting factor (URF) and to estimate the actual number of booster side effects in the United States. Previous studies (prior to the covid pandemic) found that passive reporting systems covered only about 5% to 10% of actual side effects (including severe side effects), which suggested an under-reporting factor of 10 to 20.

But based on the Israeli survey, Dr. Guetzkow found a US VAERS under-reporting factor of about 120 for hospitalizations; about 400 for shingles; about 700 for convulsions or seizures; about 3,000 for Bell’s palsy; and about 6,000 for enlarged lymph nodes.

In the United States, about 90 million booster doses had been administered by early February 2022, about 50 million of which were from Pfizer. Based on the Israeli data, this means that booster vaccinations alone may have caused about: 130,000 cases of herpes zoster (shingles); 180,000 cases of herpes simplex; 180,000 cases of convulsions/seizures; 270,000 hospitalizations; 300,000 cases of hearing disorders; 500,000 cases of vision disorders; 500,000 cases of Bell’s palsy; 500,000 cases of difficulty breathing; 2.8 million cases of menstrual changes; 3.7 million cases of enlarged lymph nodes; and 4.9 million cases of chest pain.

While these values may seem extremely high, they are generally consistent with other known data. For instance, the Pfizer booster trial found enlarged lymph nodes in 5.2% of recipients (the Israeli survey found 4.2%); the CDC V-Safe survey found that 0.9% of recipients of a Pfizer booster sought medical care (similar to the Israeli data); and a British survey found 20% of women reported menstrual changes after vaccination with AstraZeneca (the Israeli survey found 10%).

The Israeli survey covered a random, representative sample, but the absolute numbers were quite low for some of the symptoms (0.1% = 2 people) and well within the margin of error of about 2.5%. Nevertheless, the fact that all of these symptoms were found in a survey of about 2,000 people indicates that many of these severe symptoms occur at a frequency of about 1 in 1,000, while menstrual issues occur at a frequency of about 1 in 10 after a Pfizer booster vaccine.

In an additional analysis based on recently released data from an Israeli hospital system, Dr. Guetzkow found that vaccinated pregnant women had a 34% higher rate of abortion, miscarriage and stillbirth compared to unvaccinated women, with a major peak in May 2021, when the rate was 44% in vaccinated women vs. 9% in unvaccinated women. This data is consistent with British data, which also showed an increase of 33%. In particular, covid vaccines have been found to cause, in ‘rare cases’, blood clots, brain and lung bleeds, heart anomalies and severe allergic reactions in unborn babies as well as in newborn babies exposed to the vaccine via breast milk.

German vaccine safety data

Meanwhile, new official vaccine safety data from Germany paints a similarly disturbing picture. On February 21, the CEO of one of the largest German health insurers (BKK ProVita) wrote an open letter to the president of the German vaccine regulator (PEI), noting that, based on their insurance data, 4% to 5% of all German covid vaccine recipients had sought medical care due to vaccine side effects (i.e. 2.5 to 3 million people), which would indicate an under-reporting factor of at least 10. The health insurance CEO called this a “strong warning signal” that required immediate action.

Similarly, a comparison between reported post-vaccination deaths and expected background mortality also indicates an under-reporting factor of about 10 to 100 in the official, but passive, German vaccine adverse event reporting system.

But even based on official (unadjusted) data, there are already about 30,000 severe adverse events and about 2,200 post-vaccination deaths in Germany (which, in reality, could easily be 300,000 severe events and about 20,000 post-vaccination deaths). In addition, 3% of all reported cases (i.e. 7,300 people) developed chronic health injuries after vaccination.

There are about 2,000 reported cases of post-vaccination heart inflammation (which, in reality, could easily be 20,000), 1% of whom died, 3% of whom suffered chronic heart damage, and 65% of whom had not yet fully recovered (at the time of reporting).

Most concerningly of all, in children aged 12 to 17, there were 3200 reported side effects, including about 150 cases of heart inflammation, 10 cases of chronic health injury, and 8 deaths (which, in reality, might be 80). Thus, in German adolescents, there are now officially more deaths linked to covid vaccines (8) than linked to covid itself (5). Moreover, in recent weeks there have been more adolescents 12-17 who needed ICU care after covid vaccination than after covid itself.

In addition, official German vaccine safety data shows about 500 cases of adverse events in children younger than 12, including about 100 cases in children younger than 5 (which have not yet received covid vaccines). According to German authorities, 20 of these young children were exposed to the vaccine via breast milk. The other 80 cases were not specified; they may have been exposed via breast milk, during pregnancy, or via unauthorized vaccination.

Covid vaccines = Vioxx + Thalidomide ?

Based on the data discussed above, it increasingly looks like covid vaccines, despite their short-term effectiveness against severe covid, might turn into the largest drug scandal in medical history, potentially dwarfing both the Vioxx scandal and the thalidomide (contergan) scandal.

Vioxx was an anti-inflammatory drug produced by Merck as a painkiller against arthritis, migraine and menstrual cramps. It was approved by the US FDA in 1999, prescribed to over 80 million people globally, but withdrawn in 2004 after it became publicly known that Vioxx dramatically increased the risk of heart attack and stroke. According to official data, Vioxx may have caused over 50,000 premature deaths in the US alone, but according to an excess mortality analysis, it may have killed up to 500,000 people over 5 years. During lawsuits, it was shown that Merck knew about the cardiovascular risks of Vioxx early on but didn’t inform regulators, doctors and patients.

Thalidomide, also known as contergan, was a drug used as a tranquilizer for pregnant women in the 1960s. Thalidomide is estimated to have caused over 10,000 birth defects, including about 4,000 neonatal deaths, causing the largest pregnancy-related drug scandal and the “biggest man‐made medical disaster ever” (see this video).

Based on currently available data, covid vaccines could easily dwarf both the Vioxx scandal and the thalidomide/contergan scandal. One major difference is that Vioxx and thalidomide were only used to alleviate pain, not to save lives, whereas covid vaccines may have prevented, in 2021, about one million covid deaths in Europe and the US.

However, strong covid vaccine protection, even against severe disease, is lasting only about half a year (similar to flu vaccines), while vaccine adverse events increase with each additional dose. Outside of senior citizens and other high-risk groups, vaccine-related deaths may already exceed covid-related deaths, as the German data shows. Moreover, there are already several hundred vaccine-linked deaths in international athletes (mostly due to cardiac arrest or stroke).

Prior to omicron, one could argue that vaccination rates were much higher than infection rates in most Western countries, but in many age groups, this is no longer the case.

Conclusion

The Israeli survey and the detailed German data paint a very disturbing picture of covid vaccine and booster safety. In particular, it appears that the under-reporting issue in passive reporting systems, such as the US VAERS system, is far more serious than previously assumed and may easily range from a factor of 10 to a factor of 100 or even 1,000.

Overall, it appears that in young and healthy adults and in healthy children, covid vaccines may already have caused far more damage, and deaths, than covid itself. Thus, covid vaccination should likely be restricted to covid high-risk groups, or perhaps even be stopped altogether in favor of state-of-the-art early treatment of high-risk patients.

General covid vaccination of entire populations, and especially forced vaccination of young adults and children (e.g. via “no jab, no job” and “no jab, no school” schemes), may well turn out to be the largest scandal, or indeed crime, of modern medicine.

Addendum: The Israeli Vaccination Tragedy

Throughout the global covid vaccination campaign, Israel has been a pivotal country as it was leading that campaign: Israel completed the initial vaccination drive (first and second dose) by March 2021, four months ahead of all other countries (including the UK). Israel was also the first Western country to introduce the infamous “covid passport”.

By late March, SPR first highlighted a small but disturbing non-covid excess mortality signal in Israeli mortality data, in parallel to a “murky wave of heart attacks” confirmed by local doctors. The signal first showed up in senior citizens and later in young people. At the time, SPR recommended health authorities urgently investigate the cause of this excess mortality signal before continuing vaccination outside of high-risk groups. This was three months before Israeli and US health authorities would acknowledge that covid vaccines may cause heart inflammation and strokes.

In May, most scientists still assumed that covid vaccines provided long-term immunity against coronavirus infection and disease and that Israel was the first country to have suppressed the covid pandemic. Yet by June/July, with the arrival of the Delta variant, Israeli data showed that protection against infection and transmission had dropped to near-zero levels within just half a year. By that time, SPR could already predict the collapse of the entire “covid passport” system.

In June/July, there was still hope that covid vaccine protection against severe disease and death would hold up. But by July/August, official Israeli data, hardly reported in any Western media, showed that protection against severe disease in senior citizens had dropped from 95% to just 50% – an increase in residual risk by a factor of 10 – within about half a year. In response, Israel started its booster campaign and SPR predicted a “booster panic” in Europe and the US within a few months. SPR also warned that adverse events would likely increase with each additional vaccine dose.

By early September, Israel reached the highest infection rate in the entire world, likely driven, in part, by the booster campaign itself (due to the post-vaccination infection spike). Moreover, Israeli data showed that recovered people had far better protection than vaccinated people. At that point, SPR forecast a “pandemic of the vaccinated” and predicted that a booster shot in August would likely not be sufficient to get through an upcoming winter wave. And indeed, with the arrival of the Omicron variant in December 2021, Israel launched its fourth vaccine shot for high-risk groups and some health care workers.

The tragedy of the Israeli vaccination campaign is that every single time, they vaccinated right into an ongoing covid wave (Alpha, Delta and Omicron), something that should have been avoided at all cost. Why did Israel, of all places, choose to be the world’s vaccine “test lab”? It looks like this was a personal decision by then Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, who faced a pivotal election in March 2021 and a trial over various corruption allegations, and who personally knew Jewish Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla (who later received several Israeli/Jewish awards). Netanyahu may have hoped that being first to “end the pandemic” might “boost” his political position.
