FWIW - an overview of all of the major Trump officials. They will all try to stir shit up for better or worse but to me it seems like the Democrats are so rudderless and defeated they're going to be reduced to whining and crying on Bluesky, letting the Trumpers run riot all over them. Fetterman will probably lead a pack of party defections:

Meet the new Trump administration staffers who will shape key US policies starting in 2025
https://us.yahoo.com/news/trumps-admini ... 56668.html

There is also, of course, plenty of room for juicy internecine squabbles especially if the Drumpfer keeps up with his whole annex this country, annex that country schtick...

Trump really doubling-down on the whole annex this, annex that...He really thinks he is McKinley reborn and it's the 1890s?

From his CHRISTmas message, first some Xmas niceties:
“Also, to the 37 most violent criminals, who killed, raped, and plundered like virtually no one before them, but were just given, incredibly, a pardon by Sleepy Joe Biden,” Trump wrote in the latter of two Truth Social posts.

“I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas to those lucky ‘souls’ but, instead, will say, GO TO HELL!”

Then on to important geopolitical maneuvers:
“Merry Christmas to all, including to the wonderful soldiers of China, who are lovingly, but illegally, operating the Panama Canal (where we lost 38,000 people in its building 110 years ago), always making certain that the United States puts in Billions of Dollars in ‘repair’ money, but will have absolutely nothing to say about ‘anything,’” Trump wrote.

He added, “Also, to Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada, whose Citizens’ Taxes are far too high, but if Canada was to become our 51st State, their Taxes would be cut by more than 60%, their businesses would immediately double in size, and they would be militarily protected like no other Country anywhere in the World.”

“Likewise, to the people of Greenland, which is needed by the United States for National Security purposes and, who want the U.S. to be there, and we will!…”

Lolz...Looks like he won't get shit done with the Ukraine war but thinks he can already pivot to China. This appointment wasn't quite unexpected:

Brian Berletic
@BrianJBerletic
Trump Appoints Neo-Con China Warhawk Elbridge Colby Undersecretary of Defense Policy under Neo-Con Iran Warhawk Pete Hegseth

Colby is one of the most unhinged pro-war Neo-Cons - often mistaken as anti-interventionist for opposing wars with Russia and Iran, but only because he believes all effort and resources should be spent on war with China instead.

He supports separatism in China's island province of Taiwan, demanding the admin there spend more on US weapons and insists chip maker TSMC should be destroyed rather than fall into "China's" hands (Taiwan is recognized even by the US as China).

Trump ran on a platform of drastic change, but has build an administration committed to ironclad continuity of agenda...

But the internecine wars in Trumperland have already begun. Tech Bro Grifter Vivek came out with this turd and Laura Loomer and Ann Coulter etc. ain't having it. This statement really is farcical for numerous reasons:
The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if we’re really serious about fixing the problem, we have to confront the TRUTH:

Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.

A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.

A culture that venerates Cory from “Boy Meets World,” or Zach & Slater over Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in “Family Matters,” will not produce the best engineers.

(Fact: I know *multiple* sets of immigrant parents in the 90s who actively limited how much their kids could watch those TV shows precisely because they promoted mediocrity…and their kids went on to become wildly successful STEM graduates).

More movies like Whiplash, fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.”

Most normal American parents look skeptically at “those kinds of parents.” More normal American kids view such “those kinds of kids” with scorn. If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve.

Now close your eyes & visualize which families you knew in the 90s (or even now) who raise their kids according to one model versus the other. Be brutally honest.

“Normalcy” doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent. And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our asses handed to us by China.

This can be our Sputnik moment. We’ve awaken from slumber before & we can do it again. Trump’s election hopefully marks the beginning of a new golden era in America, but only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over normalcy; excellence over mediocrity; nerdiness over conformity; hard work over laziness.

That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence. I’m confident we can do it.

I mean, besides the fact that Vivek made his fortune doing a pump and dump scam, he derides fluffy cultural studies and then props "Whiplash", a movie about a kid struggling to become a jazz drummer! holy Black Devil's weed '60s counter-culture!

Musk is in many respects a tool, quite literally. He's been an op for some time now, planted many years ago (his early 'business partner' Thiel as well, but he's more of a back-channel guy).

This essentially sums it up (though I certainly wouldn't categorize it as 'the biggest psyop of all time'. Not even close):

@gnoticerx

Elon Musk doesn't run any of his companies, he's an actor and a figure head, a composite. He does not run Space X, X, Tesla, etc. These are all projects by our rulers, he's the face.

He is just an amalgamation of the work of intelligence groups, the biggest psyop of all time.

Notable/interesting, then, the current nature of his role, aligned with Trump.

Does Musk realize that slashing federal spending will slash the private sector income and trigger a deep recession or worse?

Or is that the plan?

Not to mention the financial crisis that will unfold as people & firms stop making payments because there is no money.

Thiel? Israel?? Same thing? You're right though, he's not just simply grifting, especially now as he thinks of himself as the de facto POTUS. The fact that people can't see through his simple BS pisses me off so much, I can't think straight. I think the first time I really looked a bit into Musk was when he promised to bore a tunnel and it was such obvious bs that he would never ever come through on. I guess "Mars bitches" has some deep penetration into people's psyche being the reason why he isn't laughed out of existence with that puffery.
