america, believe in yourself

Postby love » Sat Sep 10, 2005 5:37 am

america, believe in yourself - watch jim carrey in 'the majestic'; and build up your belief in yourselves - you are good people - even your ordinary crooks are good people in many ways - compared to the ones who are running your country without decency or purpose - arouse your decent disgust, and purge yourselves of these monsters who sadden your good hearts - feel no shame, for you are good; but send to lifeterm jail those who shamelessly commit deepest shames in your good name

thanks, annalivia - you heard me - you give me great pleasure with your enjoyment

thanks for the poem, seemslikeadream, i hadnt come across that one

you know, every one of the evils that hughes mentions in that poem can be destroyed by spreading the word of maximum income - the american dream was built on limitation of individual fortunes to the maximum earnable by one person - renew the dream

www.globalhappiness.org [not an org]

yes, seemslikeadream, you can pucker up, too. that was so appropriate, and truthful.

and, love, i just had to thank you for encouraging us to lift ourselves and each other up, instead of beating ourselves and each other up.

the future will be what we make it. and what we make it will come from what is in our heads and hearts. we are the only people here. it's up to us.

AnnaLivia has a great love for and faith in the people. she awaits the day when they realize their own true goodness, and the power of that goodness.

(but no man is good enough to be another man's master.)
