Instinct

Absolutely, if the nomenclature of the core of evil is fractured into myriads of names, it prevents a universal comprehension and confrontation. It's like the old Tower of Babel mythos, in which the single language was shattered into various languages that prevented a universal understanding. No matter what you call it, evil as a force is quite tangible, but quite often used to distance and obscure the capacity for evil in within ourselves. Transposition. However, in my experience, concentrated evil does exist and is very palpable as a malignant force. Some people are instinctually more able to pick up on this more than others, in the nature of animals who sense when something's completely malevolent. Not meaning to expound upon my theory of instincts being bred out of us to acquiesce to external control. Now intead of instinctually defining fear, we are told what and whom to fear as a ploicy of control. We gradually concede that survival mechanism until the inherent warning alerts are muted to virtual non-existence.

Pardon my indulgence into the slight but associated digression.

Edited by: The Omega Man at: 8/20/06 9:18 am

The light bringer was made "evil", and the era which follows men call "the dark ages". A similar result can be attained by shooting your evil light bulb.

Christ is Lucifer/the light bringer/morning star
