"...the occult cryptocracy. I don't deny that it exists, however I feel that there are some major over-simplifications with the fundamentalist and subsequent pop cultural packaging of the "illuminati" en toto."

Yea. The fundies think that they are the "elect", and that they can't be deceived. Not. It is, I think, a wise thing to attempt to rigorously consider ALL my "beliefs", and to consider why I have them, and from where they come. I have taken the fundamental attitude that "I am deceived", and it has become a remarkable well of ever deepening and multiplying insight.

I'm currently working on the symbolic, spiritual meaning of sex and gender, the eating of meat, and on the "working of hands". :-) It's fun!

Holy shit, DE, that Texe Marrs site is awesome!

Now Anton LaVey, various politicians, 80s metal bands, and McDonalds' executives I suspected, but I had no idea that Amy Grant, much less, Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis, Kenneth Copeland, and Dr. Rodney "let that joy begin to bubble right out of your belly" Howard Browne were in on it too.

Goddamn, are Paul and Jan satanists as well?

I swear, if Texe shows me a picture of John Avanzini with Michael Aquino, I think I'm gonna cry.

P.S. And don't tell me there's a seven-lane bridge in Laredo, Texas for no reason.

Consider all perspectives

Postby Avalon » Tue Mar 07, 2006 3:58 am

I, to be perfectly honest, find the Pat Robertson picture intriguing. That's a clearly deliberate pose he has struck. It's awkward looking and I think it is worth having a look at.

Mmm, yeah, deliberate. And that means...exactly what?

I'm a fairly serious amateur photographer, and I'll critique photos at the drop of a hat the way some of you see the Illuminati's clues under every chair.

Take a look through your local paper -- a weekly, and the daily from a small city. I specify that so as to not limit the images to those of the powerful, as the little papers will have less stroingent filters. Wander over to your local bookstore, and check through the back covers of the novels to see author

Take a look at the PR photos sent to accompany articles. Chances are that you'll see a whole lot of hands up around the face or elsewhere in awkward positions that you've rarely seen in life. Those coy hands supporting the chin, for example. There's a certain kind of commercial photographer that dotes on having the hand visible near the face. It's like visual fingers on blackboards to me, but for some who take portraits by the book it's gospel.

Hey, Robertson's photo could be a signal to his masters, maybe. But before committing to that reading of it I'd want to look into other photos by that photographer and see what he does with hands.

than intelligent-fundamentalist-Booosh-sympathizers without any curiosity as to how the towers fell for example, and that is, intelligent-computer-savvy-educated individuals who deliberately set out to confuse what ever issue is being discussed. Yes, it is intriguing, under the circumstances, and yes, it's a creepy photo. It's just a matter of what conclusions I'd leap to without more rigorous analysis. embarrassed to keep this here

Postby Dreams End » Wed Mar 08, 2006 2:11 am

but it is on topic.

Check this out:

Compare. Same image color enhanced...no. Maybe the same shoot but not the same image.

It looks like the same background....so I think it's an unretouched image from the same shoot. But clearly, the "paw" is a deliberate pose as it's done in both.

But that's a tad different from saying this proves anything...but as Dave Emory says, "grounds for further research." Most masons don't deny membership...is it part of his official bio?

about the Robertson photos

Postby Rigorous Intuition » Wed Mar 08, 2006 2:52 am

"Grounds for further research," sure. But I don't have much patience for this stuff.

Is it likely Robertson directed the photo shoot, and then instructed Time which image to use, in order to send a secret message?

Or is it more plausible that, in a session during which dozens of images were likely snapped, the photographer said "Now Pat, let's try a few with your hand over your heart. Clench a little ...now make a fist... don't look so happy...."
