There are several types of mind control: cults, phony religions and off-the-wall therapies. A new world religion is being invented to force on everybody. It’s a mishmash of legitimate religious movements, new age psychobabble and a sprinkling of so-called traditional ideologies. We are all supposed to be drawn in to be controlled by a small group of cult leaders.

Their mission statement to the masses is that the end justifies the means to bring about universal peace, harmony and love. Psychological coercion through manufactured religion is part of setting up a worldwide totalitarian society.

At one time several elite factions fought each other to rule the world. Now they work together. The cultist leaders are secret, self-appointed, dogmatic, messianic and not democratically accountable. They want to whack everybody into enslavement. “The easier to control you, my dear!”

Is the 11th Century Inquisition being resurrected? This was a time when critics of the politicians controlled by the Catholic Church killed off millions who didn’t agree with them? Strategies are humility and public confession to lower self-esteem; threats and guilt; no thinking; and critics are accused of siding with the devil. Some start hallucinating about having contact with extra terrestrials who give them orders.

Some manipulation techniques are love bombing which is giving love and then sudden disapproval, contradictions and verbal abuse. The altered state is brought on by hypnosis, trances, prolonged chanting, deprivation of privacy, sense of time, food and sleep. Other tactics to force conformity are overly strict rules, guilt, fear, no questions and tight rules on living, dressing, information, music, reading and the internet. Some cult leaders have sex with anyone, male, female or child, within their orbit under their control.

Individual reasoning powers have to be weakened so we can be broken down physically and mentally to become highly vulnerable to suggestions. It takes 3 days to two weeks to bring draftees into line. We are supposed to go through a sudden drastic personality change called “snapping”. We will have difficulty reasoning, choosing or criticizing. The new world religion steps in and interprets our reality and reason for living. Then we can be put into intense robotic group thinks and then told what to do.

Followers who are no longer valuable are thrown to the wolves. Those wanting to leave will be threatened. The successful walkaways will have to hide. They will be hunted down, ostracized and disappeared for having too much inside information. The colonials make no mention of changing from their religion(s), but they tell Indigenous people that we should always forgive them, no matter how bad things get for us. I do agree that the authors of both pieces wed conspiracy narratives about the New Age Movement with a kind of indigenist perspective. I also agree that they weave in ideas that have been popularized by certain right wing and fundamentalist Christian voices.

ON EDIT: I don't agree that her citing of www.gotquestions.org is in any way proof of that Kahentinetha is sympathetic to Christian fundamentalism. She seems to be citing it quite sarcastically while talking about the return of the Inquisition.

I am by no means specifically defending these two pieces though I was interested to stumble upon these kinds of fusion narratives. Here's the rub though: I do believe that the kind of things they are alluding to are real. That is: people high up in the owning class being interested in parapsychology, unorthodox religions and the like for unexplained reasons and the existence of social engineering projects that have influenced the shape of the modern New Age Movement, such as it is.

It seems to me like this is a general topic area that Jeff has covered extensively in his posts and that has also been well-covered here on the Board.

As to the infiltration of right wing narratives in to our conspiracy discourse, I absolutely agree that this is something we should be very, very careful of. And there's a lot of it.

It is quite surreal, as Searcher said. I'd have to read more by the author(s) to know whence they're coming, so to speak. Said author could just be confused, or some type of disinfoteer. The news article titles at the original link read like a Native American RI, almost. I definitely want to do some reading over there. If we feel paranoid and dissaffected, imagine how they must feel, with very good reasons to.

Yes, I occasionally see the fiery screeds coming from the author and her partner-in-crime at Mohawk Nation News. I would not consider either to be right wing nor Christian. They both seem pretty "rad" to me, though I may not agree with them perfectly. I do think she's on to something here, though I also agree thatshe could be much more discriminating about what sources she cites...
