Yes, about that, why don't you any more? I loved your work.

I lost interest. It was becoming an unpaid full-time job and that's just stupid.

I'm on Youtube? That's disturbing. I'll have to go find out how that happened. Glad you dig it, though.

I'm not sure there's anything anybody could post online that would convince me that I "knew" them and could "trust" them.

A picture of you and a link to your web site(s) doesn't mean you aren't up to no good. In reality, some who couldn't (or wouldn't) provide much documentation at all are in fact eminently trustworthy and some who could provide extensive "proof" could well be up to all kinds of shenanigans. SMiles, what happened to your sig line "'Trust No One' ... especially people you only 'know' from online"? You were right and no amount of pics and links can change that.

Think about it. Paulette Cooper had her close friend, neighbor and confidant Jerry Levin. She cried on his shoulder about being harassed by C0$ and he reported back every word of it to the Guardian's Office. Dorothy Kilgallen had Ron Pataki, her lover and trusted friend. They spoke every day and met whenever they could. And he may well have killed her on behalf of those who did not want her JFK book published.

But I should trust you because of a posting on the interwebs?? Sorry -- I don't think so.

Now granted, I'm not an investigative journalist breaking any big stories. And you're probably not a spook trying to kill me. But that still doesn't mean you aren't up to no good. Smiling faces and all that. If it's all the same to you, I will continue to treat the dreams and vapors I meet online with a healthy dose of skepticism and caution.

This.

Well, now I finally found rap that I like.

I'm just who you see from what I write. Nothing spectacular. Just your typical imperfect human being.

OP ED's identity has never been a big secret, although i don't have a website to link you to.

i use my first name all the time, and my second is publically available via my publically available email address in my profile.

that and the pictures i've posted of my car, house, and self, and the previously stated general location of my residence [6 mile/Inkster] should make it easy for the spooks to find me.

of course, i use the same email on my passport, so i'm sure all of this is already in my DHS file anyhow.

nothing to hide.

I think people are probably more curious about my member name than anything else. It came from one of those silly games "what goddess were you born under". Friends who've known me for years as sweet Valentine were  . Little did they know they had that pegged wrong all along. Valentine is Ender's sister in the Ender's Game series, and I liked the character and her style in the books. 8)

These are the only nicknames I've used on line. Soloflecks, Valentine, Estsanatlehi, and Pele'sDaughter. I don't use them at the same time or to create drama. I've never been a joker/trickster. From an early age it was important to me to be straightforward and trusted by others. The fact that I do not play headgames has actually made it hard for me to fit in at times as it seems to be almost expected from women. :?

So, regardless of what people may want to know about me (if anything) what I want them to know is how much I value integrity and that I can be trusted. I hope I show this in my words and actions.
Don't believe anything they say.
And at the same time,
Don't believe that they say anything without a reason.

Oh, probably not--I'm a crabby old cuss. And I tend to drone on and on about old tractors (though the one in the picture is newer than I am).

All that, and I'm pretty thick.

Why would I want to tell you or anyone else any more about me than I already have in the posts on this site?

If one really felt like it, they could put a lot together from reading what I've already written.

Maybe it's time to throw out some disinfo.

The events of the past couple of weeks have prompted me to start a post on Golytsin. Might be up in a few days.

A friend of mine made the documentary "Hype!" about the media frenzy in Seattle when the northwest grunge-rock thing took off. The locals, and the musicians, were so amused at how the reporters would hang on their every word, they just started making shit up. For fun. The reporters reported it dutifully.

I've been a netizen, since before the 'net', when it was just a series of bbs's tied to together with phone lines and one person could use a site at a time. I've gone by many names over the years, which in one way other another reflect my state of being...

My first internet project was building a gopher site which linked to a whole bunch of occult info sources. I've always found the net to be a great place to find esoteric knowledge, and I continue my pursuit, that fruit tastes too damn good!

I build web sites and just want to help spread information to those not in the know. My aims are noble and perhaps a bit egotistical. I really just wanna help though, and hope that my own journey's down the information and metaphysical highways can help others...

I come to RI to find out what's really going on, and what others who are peeping down the rabbit hole have to say about it all. I'd probably participate more here if it didn't mean having to engage in constant flame wars with others...
Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling the transmission.
