HMW is such a MEME on this board that it's become a major distraction.

Do not mention HMW until he actually has something to say. I've seen dozens of threads like this before or without HMW's presence occurring.

This is certainly the forum of smug one-liners... But what they add to the discussion I don't know.

I really like Hugh Manatee, especially since he comes from a good heart. I just wish he would not take himself seriously, and see himself as an artist and synchromystical person. Because most of what he says falls into the very esoteric and synchronistic thinking he rallies against.

he has not a racist neuron or quasi anti Semitic reasoning, which is always a plus.

But I would ask him and anyone if they think there is any NON government component to the UFO or Fortean phenomenon reported over the ages?

Yes, of course. It's called Dimethyltryptamine, or DMT. Psilocybin can also cause visions of flying objects and alien visitors. The UFO meme is a literal and materialistic distortion of this phenomenon. Government psyops uses this meme to distract people from the crisis of human extinction / enslavement.

I like Hugh. He has good politics, and I agree with him on 90% of what he says. I can't really think of him as a human being, because he doesn't post anything besides his agitprop program. This is a wise strategy that I should follow more closely.

I think it's funny that Hugh sounds exactly like a person who just took a lot of acid and thinks that "they" are controlling every minute detail of everything, except that he is totally against the things that would lead a person to think that way. Strange, no?

I agree that it's often utilized as a psyop today, but there were still mass sightings before the age of flight. You can't chalk them all up to DMT. Probably not even a majority of cases from antiquity.

If it's true that the human brain itself can secrete DMT, then why couldn't a majority of sightings from antiquity have come about in this way?

DMT doesn't leave manna all over the ground for 40 years, does it?

The bible is a book of stories and myths. I have little real idea how much of it is historically true, and neither do you.

One interpretation of the manna story is that manna is some kind of mushroom, since it says that manna appeared when the dew fell in the morning. I think that is a more likely explanation than, uh, flying saucers following the Israelites around for 40 years and dropping food on them. Also, it's just a story.

Besides psychedelic explanations, there is also Panspermia theory. Francis Crick was a proponent of this, actually going further to propose directed panspermia by higher intelligence. It's possible that they are physically visiting us, but for some reason they seem to be keeping an eye on the people who take LSD. I have thought in the past that they recognize psychedelic users as sentient organisms that they can communicate with. The rest of the human race are basically just complicated insects, and are treated as such.

That being said, there is also definitely a government psyop to cover up experimental aircraft. This seems to be the most provable version but not necessarily the only version.

I’m sure that authority structures have realized the great value of literalizing the metaphor since the Consul of Nicaea or before. (freezing a category helps to control dialogue.) And it can also be the natural expression of a materialistic age. People used to see dragons, now we see UFO’s. While I don’t hang much at the ET proponent’s campfire, preferring the Inter Terrestrial types myself, I do wonder how some of the interplanar conjunctions can produce effects with such large exhibitions of apparently tangible content.

Government psyops uses this meme to distract people from the crisis of human extinction / enslavement.

I’ll have to work on that one. Do you mean extinction/enslavement as a one or the other inevitability?

That and who knows what else, if the corpus coliseum became an open highway.

I imagine drugs as being a player in the formation of early belief systems. Yet we have still not asked some basic questions, like; what is the nature of the filtering mechanism that translates a signal from one realm into a coherent image in another realm? Or can we find a formula that may help to reconcile the difference between the way something appears and the way it actually is?

I was thinking of a "lesser evil" scenario. Specifically, when we can't breathe the air people will be forced to live in enclosed habitats. This is a long term projection. A more short term example would be the desalination of water when climate change starts making the sea levels rise.

This was an interesting story, but I wasn't impressed by the "alien artifact."
